Extra people (regardless if it's clean or adult) are $5-10 extra (depending on the complexity), 4 people in a drawing is my limit.
What I WILL draw:
I'm pretty open to kinks and fetishes, even darker ones. But, there are a few I simply WILL NOT do.
What I will NOT draw:
This includes: Scat, heavy watersports, vomiting, heavy mutilation/guro, sexual or violent things with children, other people's characters (without permission), hardcore drug abuse, things that can be considered racist or hateful against a group of people (or person). I also can't draw mecha, buildings, or cars at all.
Turn around for commissions is 1-2 weeks, but I try to have them done and finished in a week. If your commission is going to take longer, I will contact you and ask if you want a refund or for me to continue.
Curious about something? Drop me a note! I answer -all- of them.

Stuff posted on Furbuy + Commissions Are OPEN
General | Posted 11 years agoIn case you missed my last journal entry, I am open for commissions! Details and such are here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5753070/
I also listed a few things on Furbuy to see if anyone might like helping me out that way, mabbe? It's only three things since that is the posting limit for basic accounts. ( >3< )

Go look! There is a cute little Beanie Baby Sled Dog and German Shepard looking to go home with someone!

Help me replace my old Lightbox via Commissions!
General | Posted 11 years agoMy old Lightbox finally bit it. It was a trusty 'ol Lightbox that helped me ink many drawings. It even helped me with comictones when I made my old comic book (One Shot). But it's time is at an end, which means it's time to invest in a new one.
Checking Amazon.com for lightboxes I came across these two:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00854INH0/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_7?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A23ADOZFIJNPFB For $43
and
http://www.amazon.com/LightTracer-2-Light-Box-12X18/dp/B007XNW1HW/ref=sr_1_11?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1399956075&sr=1-11&keywords=Artograph+Light+Box for $90.
I really like the later, as more space is always nice, but it depends on how much interest people have in commissioning me. If several people tell me to "Shut up and take my money!" and fill up all 5 slots, I get the more expensive model. If only a few slots fill up, well.. The lesser model is just as good. ;)

ART FLOOD UPLOAD OVER!
General | Posted 11 years agoY'all can rejoice now. ;) I *might* upload a few more pieces, but that won't be for awhile.
Mild Art flood incomming!
General | Posted 11 years agoGoing to be uploading much of what I have on
katcubus here, since I will be retiring that account soon-ish.
Will post again when said "flood" is over with. :)

New year, new start
General | Posted 12 years agoAlbeit this post if a bit late, it's still worth saying. I'm not going to bother keeping up two different archives for my art here on FA. Eventually I will be merging the little art I have over at
katcubus with this one and eventually close/delete it out. Easier to manage things this way and if people really don't want to see smut, browsing settings can be adjusted to omit porn. I'm still going to keep
domynnswhispers however, since I do want to keep art drawn for me separated from this archive.
TL;DR: You may see more art from me posted more often. The catch? It may be more clean than smutty.

Happy Thanksgiving!
General | Posted 12 years agoI'm a little late in my wishes, but I hope everyone (that celebrates it anyway) had a good one!
And if you're one of the unfortunate souls having to work today, tonight, and tomorrow, I wish you a safe Black Friday madness.
*hugs to all!*

Whatever happened to Ayelet/Moonstonecat/Ayelet Ripley?
General | Posted 12 years agoShe used to draw really awesome Xenomorph arts and had an adorable Lynx OC and then one day she just up and vanished. Did she change names? Stop drawing altogether? :( I remember her from when she used to be heavily into Sonic the Hedgehog and had her little red haired hedgehog character.
Anyone know where she vanished to? I miss her arts!

I think it's time to retire...
General | Posted 12 years agoMy old lightbox. :P
It was a Friskars crafting lightbox I purchased when I was working for Wal*mart back in 2004, and she's startin' to give out. 'Ol girl has been through several moves between states and cities and a lot of use. Cracks here and there, a few tumbles as well, but kept on working! Unfortunately, I think it's the end of the line for her. It's to the point where certain pressure on the actual screen causes the light bulb to flicker off and on (off more than on). Even my husband (the tinkerer!) can't do anything for it.
So, after this last batch of commissions (which I'm working on!), I'll be re-opening them with the purpose of replacing my light box. :B I did some shopping awhile back and already found one I was thinking of getting
http://www.amazon.com/Artograph-10-.....ef=pd_sbs_ac_2
Not too expensive and does what I need it for. :) Of course, if anyone has any suggestions for one, I'm all ears.
Just a little journal to mention I'm still around and still drawing!

Fursuit-type questions!
General | Posted 12 years agoToying with an idea for a future cosplay costume, but I'm not really familiar with fursuiters. Right now I'm honestly just looking at prices, but in the future I may be looking for someone who can make the following: Head, hands, feet, and possibly a tail.
Again, I don't know jack squat about which fursuiters do good work and which ones do shoddy work. I'd be interested in who can do good work for a reasonable price. I don't mind paying extra for quality work, but if I'm looking at price that's over $1000 for just these parts, that's a bit out of my league.
Suggestions/links are highly appreciated!

Yearning for Summer to be OVER.
General | Posted 12 years agoThe number one reason I don't care for summer is the heat. It makes doing anything other than the minimal a real pain in the ass. So far, this summer has been fairly decent as far as hot weather goes. It's been more humid than hot. It was hot earlier on in the summer and somewhat mild out. I guess mother nature decided it was time to throw a curve-ball and crank up the heat shortly after my birthday in August. I don't even remember being this uncomfortable when I was living in Tucson! I'm hoping though things will begin cooling off and it won't be nearly as muggy as it was last week.
One of the things I will try never doing again is getting an upstairs apartment with shitty AC. Hnnnggg. Whoever designed these apartments felt it was a good idea to put a wall AC unit on the floor. WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?!
Here's to summer going away already so Fall can take over and make things all pretty and cold. Hopefully more art follows after that. This heat kills any desire to be artistic.

Kigurumi Help!!!
General | Posted 12 years agoI was thinking of purchasing one this year for my Halloween costume. It seemed like a great idea to keep warm while dressing up for Halloween at the same time, right? Only problem is, while I can find a large assortment of them online, most only go up to a XL in size. Unfortunately, this doesn't cut it. I need something 3X in size to feel 100% comfortable in. Does any one know where I might be able to find (or commission) someone to make a Kigurumi close to my size?

Best place to upload...
General | Posted 12 years agoA hentai/porn/smut/whatever voice reel.
I've been told by people that I have a voice that would be great for cartoons or anime, but to be honest one of the things I've always-always wanted to do was do voice overs for hentai anime. While I don't see myself actually doing that for anything that would be marketed and sold, I could see myself doing voices for flash animations and whatnot.
Aside from uploading a voice clip here, are there any other places I could upload something like this to? Because of it's "adult" nature, I can't upload it to Youtube since they'd delete it. :B
I may come up with a different alias for this since I have a hunch it'd attract a lot of unwanted attention. Iunno. Depends if I can find a place to upload it and if my husband gets his recording mic set up for me. xD

One Hurdle Down...
General | Posted 12 years agoOne of the biggest reasons I found myself avoiding FA like the plague (aside from having no new art to upload) was the sheer amount of people I was following. 1000+ at the least. That sort of watch list was fine when it was under 500, but the larger it got, the harder it became to actually watch people's artwork, much less following any of their journals.
Today I bit the bullet and gave my watch list a HUGE weeding. It took roughly 2 (or so hours), but halfway through it, I felt a huge sigh of relief. Like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I was pretty damn proud of myself by the time I reached the "S's". Now my watch list has been weeded to an amount that I can keep tabs on and are made up of people I either know or admire their art greatly. Not to say that those who I were watching before had crap art or anything -- but I had to be really picky! It was tough, I tell you what. I might end up re-watching a few people; who knows?!
For now, I am really happy and content that I was able to overcome this 4+ year hurdle. :)
BTW: My (non-art) auctions are still going on Furbuy! Please have a look if you haven't already!

An update of sorts
General | Posted 13 years agoThe bad news:
My guinea pig, Peaches, passed away last week. It was really sudden and unexpected. It wasn't as if she was in bad health, as she was popcorning and wheeking as normal. So, it was really strange to find her laying down in her cage and realizing she'd passed. She was only 4 years old, which is what got me considering they can live anywhere from 6-8 years. I guess it was her time.
Our newest (pet) addition is taking some getting used to handling. Jacques Clouseau, the red-tail boa we adopted earlier last month has been taking some getting used to. Last week he gave me one hell of a bite on my hand when I tried petting him (while my husband held him). It was my fault for not cleaning my hands thoroughly after cleaning his cage, so chances are he thought my hand was a tasty rat -- or was just having a grumpy day. I think were considering changing his name to something more suiting if he turns out to be a snake that isn't easy to handle. Whatever his temperament turns out to be, we'll love him (just from afar). I kinda wonder how his old owner handled or treated him, but at least he's healthy. He also eats like a pig. D: I guess his old owner wasn't feeding him nearly enough because we gave him 3 medium rats and he was STILL looking for more. Next time we'll give him a large or jumbo rat and see if that makes him happy.
The GOOD news:
Errol (
leopardofalltrades ) has been working steadily at his current job for a month and a half with oodles of overtime at his disposal. Lately he's been working 10 hour shifts, but if he wanted to, he could work 12 (I don't think he does. :P). This has helped us out A LOT with catching up on bills and debts for when he was out of work. I'm hoping once his three month contract with the temp agency he got this job through is up, the company will hire him on full time. Would be nice all things considering!
I stopped taking the nasty antidepressants that were making me feel like I was having massive heart attacks weekly. I have no idea why a higher dosage would cause that, considering I had been on it for a few years now, but it did. I haven't had any "chest pains" since, either. Hurrah.
Thanks to a visit to the local thrift store, I have a new table I can use for crafts and drawing. Now I just gotta wait for my body to flush out the old antidepressant so the "numbness" that is associated with them wears off. I can actually feel a little bit of my old self returning now that I'm not taking it anymore. Still gotta watch my moodswings, thoughts, and all that. Journal keeping has been a godsend for emotions. Just need to remember to keep at it.
So far, things are starting to improve all over, and I couldn't be more pleased. :) Nice to come out of that extended downtime and see things are improving all over.

So far, things are starting to improve all over, and I couldn't be more pleased. :) Nice to come out of that extended downtime and see things are improving all over.
Any Boa owners out there?
General | Posted 13 years agoI recently came into possession of a beautiful adult male Red-tail boa by answering an add placed on Craigslist. It's original owner was looking to sale this snake but ended up giving it and it's huge tank to me and my husband for free -- all we had to do was come by and pick it up!
He's absolutely gorgeous and in great health. We took him over to our local reptile shop to have the owner look him over. No abnormalities, mites, old scaring or anything like that. Only thing the guy said was that the boa could put on maybe a smiiiidge more weight, but it wasn't anything life threatening.
The original owner said he used to feed him live pray (rats) since he was a very picky eater. I don't like doing this with my other two snakes as rats (unlike mice) are pretty vicious when they know their life is in danger and the last thing I want to do is risk a bite or injury to him. I'll be trying to see if he will eat fresh killed or stunned rats and later on, frozen rats that have been thawed to a proper temperature.
I've always fed my snakes either rats or mice, but I understand you can feed them other prey depending on their size. One thing I've been curious about is baby chicks. My female Colombian boa isn't exactly large enough to justify feeding her baby chicks, but the Red-Tail boa is large enough to where if I were to feed him one, I doubt he'd have much problems with it.
Though I wanted to know if anyone here who own boas have ever tried this. I've been doing reading about it and most of the websites I've read suggest that baby chicks should be offered only as an occasional treat and not a main food source. Has anyone here fed their snakes baby chicks? What were your experiences with it? Do you still feed them chicks or stopped?

Antidepressants & Art
General | Posted 13 years agoAnyone who has been following this account has noticed a huge lack of artwork that has been uploaded in the past year. There are several contributors to why there is so little of it, but I do believe one of the major contributors is the hindering that my antidepressants have had on my creative drive. I've watched myself go from wanting to draw to not having any desire to draw whatsoever. I have sat at my desk staring at a blank piece of paper, twirling a pencil between my finger and my mind is as blank as the piece of paper in front of me. It's caused much alarm and despair as I'm currently taking another antidepressant that is /supposed/ to help with the desire to do nothing creatively. One makes me feel like a zombie and the other isn't doing what it claims to do.
I'm fed up with this and have made a decision to talk to my doctor that oversees my antidepressants and see if something can be done about it. I want to ween myself off the ones that make me zombie-like and stay on the one that is supposed to help with depression while not inhibiting the desire to draw and be overall creative. On top of this, I will (with the okay from my doctor) be taking St John's Wart too, as is a natural herbal way to help with one's depression. My goal in all this is to try and get back that creative spark that I feel has been snuffed out months and months ago.
I have no idea what to expect, but all I can do is hope that, in time, I will start drawing again because I actually want to again.
Here's hoping!

Padaren, in my WoW?
General | Posted 13 years agoOld news is old news: Mists of Pandaria introduced a new playable race called the Pandaren. At first I was really reluctant towards liking them. Kung Fu panda jokes are something every WoW player has heard since the announcement and moreso since the release of this expansion. Hell, even I thought so too. I was super against the idea of playing MoP, but you know what? I really love this expansion. It doesn't feel like a true WoW xpac, but that's okay. I've enjoyed the hell out of it and introduced a race which I really have fallen in love with. Mind you, I'm more of a cat person, but the Pandaren have something going on for them; their weight. It's not uncommon for a video game to feature overweight, musclegut-ish male characters, but it's not often you'll find overweight females that are portrayed in a positive light. And it's extremely rare when you'll get to actually PLAY one.
This is why I am SO in love with this expansion! Pandaren females ARE FAT. This couldn't make me more ecstatic. After seeing Blizzards horrifying rendition of Worgen females (aka derpderp chihuahua-werewolf ), I was really worried they were going to screw up female Pandaren. Well, my worries were cast aside when I finally got to see what their model looked like and more-so since I've been playing one regularly. They are both plumpy-pudgy AND adorable. I've already decided I want to race change a few of my WoW characters into female Pandaren BECAUSE they are SO CUTE.
While things are FINALLY starting to pick up for my husband and I (financially, rather - My husband found a CNC Machinist position locally!), I can't justify spending that money I would on race changes. So, be prepared to see me pimping out commission slots like crazy after the first of the year. I have three characters I'd like to race change, so that should keep me pretty busy with art for awhile.
If this interests you, stay tuned! However, I am currently open for commissions as of right now; I'm just being lazy until the first of Jan to start the pimpin'. ;)

What a month! (What's been going on with Kat)
General | Posted 13 years agoThis has been a real challenging month for both
leopardofalltrades and myself. My hubby lost his job around the end of September and has been diligently looking for another job. Only problem he seems to occuring is finding a place semi-closeby (i.e. under an hour's worth of driving to) and willingness to pay close to his old payrate. It's been pretty difficult so far. Next week he has a few interviews, including one that's located all the way out in Utah!
Honestly, with all the struggles we've had trying to make ends meet while living in California, the both of us are hoping that the job prospect in Utah will work out. If he can make around the same amount there as he does here we'll be doing so much better off. Housing in Ogden (the city where the company is located) is WAY cheaper than it is in California. Employment (retail) doesn't look too bad either, which is good for me as I've had absolutely shitty luck finding another job since the one I had working at OfficeMax over a year ago.
But, if life has taught us anything, it's to not put all your eggs in one basket. There is always a chance that even if he does get the job, the relocation assistance they offer may not be enough to help us move out there. Or of course, since he's compeating with other applicants, someone might be selected over him.
In the meantime, trying to find work locally is all on the hubby's mind. Hopefully he'll find find a job before the end of the month as money is slowly becoming an issue. We have just enough to pay for next month's rent, but after that.. not much, if at all.
Any time you feel like giving us a break, life, it'd be awesome.

Possible Open Commission Slot
General | Posted 13 years agoBlizzard is having an incredible sale in preparation for their newest xpac. You can basicly get All the xpacs (up to Pandeaia) for $20 in total. I have a friend I want to take advantage of this sale for, but I really don't have any extra money to spare right now. I'm still waiting to hear back on whether or not I'm being considered for a job, actually.
Right now I'm working on the two pieces I owe
mouseran right now, but the sale ends on Monday.
I'm wondering if I offered a inked commission piece for $20 if anyone would be interested in it. One piece, fully inked, adult or clean.
Any takers?
Payment would be paypal only. :B
