I originally created this with the intentions of using it for all my Warcraft characters, but I want to expand and use it for more than just them. My first entry was actually about an old, retired Second Life character. ( lol ). Right now, I'm adding entries of all my other Warcraft characters -- there are a lot! I hope to finish them all in about a week (or so), so I can add more original characters to it. :D

It's not exactly artwork, but the weather lately has been absolutely miserable for it. If it's not hot it's humid and sticky.

Granted the weather isn't as miserable next week as it's been this week, I'd like to start doodling to help ease myself back into drawing.

I have two outstanding commission pieces I need to finish, and then I'll be able to take on new ones. But, before I can even start those, I need a little more practice first.

I brushed off my SL account after not touching it for awhile to see how things were. Not a whole had changed with the few haunts I used to go to, and some seem thinner than before. After awhile of idling at my house, I come to realize SL gets really boring if you don't have something to do. Normally I want to find RP and such, but that's like searching for a needle in a haystack! So, I end up spending money I don't have on clothes and avatars and other shit, become completely discouraged, and quit SL for another 2-3 months.

I know some people actually hang out on SL a lot, but I gotta ask you. If you're one of those people, what the hell do you do? Chatting is cool, but I can do that via IMs. I never really got the point of sims dedicated to "furry raves" since 99% of the time you're just doing dancing animations and listening to someone elses conversations. RP sims aren't exactly hard to find, but I loathe ones devoted to combat meters since I see people paying more attention to pwning each other than actual RP fighting. Or you'll find this semi-nice sim that's dead 95% of the time.

I gotta wonder what the heck you guys do on SL cause I get bored of it real fast. :[

Out of boredom last night. I made a character discription for her, and yes. It's her. Not hir. The character has a clit-dick. I just can't imagine wanting to run around with two golf balls dangling between my thighs. It's bad enough with two melons strapped to my chest. >:(

Sos, like I was saying. I made her up, as in wrote out a description for her with the possible intentions of trying to roleplay as her but.. eh. Iunno. I wouldn't mind drawing a picture of her some time in the near future.

I may end up changing the species though as I don't think a herm black jaguar is working out very well.

So, I was watching a video on youtube earlier today featuring a full grown male brown bear. For some strange reason, I got it in my head that maybe I should consider doing a drawing of myself as a brown bear.

Now, I never really gave bears that much attention. Not that I don't like them, they just don't have the same affect on me like cats do.

But I have to admit, that I'm really digging this idea! I asked my hubby if he could see me as a bear and without any hesitation, he went "Oh yeah..". （￣へ￣）

I've been wanting to revise my commission prices for awhile now, but never got around to it. I figured I'd ask for input too.

Clean
Sketch -- $10
Inked -- $15
Colored (No background) -- $20

Adult
Sketch -- $15
Inked -- $20
Colored (No background) -- $25

$5 per additional character (not sure what the max would be; depends on how many).

I don't do coloring due to the fact I hate the way I color (I feel like it's third grade quality), but I figure the only way I'll ever get better is to suck it up and do it anyway. I'm also going to try to do at the very LEAST some sort of background to most drawings as well. Hate drawing them, but again, won't get better unless you practice them.

I might even have to consider charging more for coloring, not because I'm a greedy fuck but because I use copics on most pieces and those things are $3-5 bucks a pop if I have to replace them. ._. Some of the commissions I did for my good friend  mousran had me go through several of one color for several commissions. I may be revisiting using colored pencils instead over copics, since they are more expensive...

So, here is the thing about my prices (as I'm well aware several artists charge much less for more). I'm not fluent enough in using my tablet (I'm still trying to figure out the damn thing!) and I hand draw all of my stuff. I will sometimes use my shadowbox to ink lines and then color that piece (if the drawing calls for that).

What do you guys think? Do these prices seem reasonable or way too much?

Recently, I came across a bunch of gift art that was drawn for me YEARS ago and all of it very, very old. I still wish to honor it all but I'd like to do so in a large collage vs uploading every piece into my scraps section.

Embarrassingly, I don't know how to make a digital collage or rather, lack a program like Photoshop to do so. Is there any one out there that'd be kind enough to do this for me? I'd deeply appreciate it!

Over the next couple of weeks I will be thinning my watch on this account down to a manageable number. Half the problem I have here is when I log in, there are SOOOOOOOOOO many arts I need to browse through that I end up becoming frustrated and leave.

The absolute easiest route to this is.. to remove everyone and just leave it at that. I DID think about that, strongly. I thought, maybe if I just kept my watch down to friends and a few others I'd come around more. Maybe! But then I'd loose out on all the wonderful artists that I actually enjoy watching.

Touch decision, really. I might end up doing that. Who knows. BUT for now, I will be re-watching certain folks under my art watchin' archive,  peeping_catcubus.

I have two major goals I want to work on for next year.

1) Draw more. I don't where I developed this nasty self-hatred for my art, but it's got to stop. I can't keep saying everything I draw is crap or letting myself believe it or there is no sense in keeping any of the art supplies I have or calling myself an artist. I want to just pick up a pencil and draw. It doesn't have to come out a masterpiece or be finished, but like the Nike commercials go I gotta "Just do it". I want to focus on what makes me happy, and if that's drawing boobs, then so be it. I've always felt there wasn't enough artwork of overweight or chubby women out there and I've had this idea that I want to feature more of that in my artwork. Not chibi-styled chubby women, but actual women. Women with flaws and women I find attractive.

TL;DR : I want to draw more and I want to draw fat chicks.

This also means overcoming the wall I set up for myself and using the fancy wacom tablet Errol bought for me 3 years back. Maybe the ease of it will encourage me to draw more, I hope?

It's really easy (ESPECIALLY on the internet) to get into fights with people over opinions or the need to feel right or justified. I'm no different and feel that if someone is doing wrong or attacking me, I need to leap into action and fight when really.. is there even a point to it? I wish to apply what the qoute says as a way of just taking a breath, and not letting things bother me so much. Not let it get under my skin. Mayhaps in time I won't have so much stress if I can just.. let things be. I envy my husband so much because whereas something will bother me to the point where I'm raging over it, he can look at it, shrug his shoulders and move on.

Easier said than done, I know! But, one step at a time.

TL;DR: Don't sweat the small stuff; don't take everything so personally.

While most of my art is clean stuff, I have been trying to practice drawing daily to ease myself back into the groove of things. I have a buttload of art I owe to my biggest admirer of my work (  mousran) and I want to see if people will actually commission me for my work. :] The idea is both frightening and exciting at the same time.

So, I can say that I'm finally over WoW (for the moment). A friend (very generously) purchased me a game card so I could get back into playing wow, but it never happened. I just.. couldn't get back into WoW, at all. The very idea of trying to pug heroics and doing dailies again made me cringe and I never went back. I'm not going to say I'll never play WoW EVA AGAIN!!!111one, but for now, I'm seriously 'over' it.

For the past couple 'o months I tried to give Second Life another chance. I was hoping to find exciting places and people to roleplay with, but all I found was more of the same shit that made me take a break in the first place; bad roleplay, no roleplay, dramaz, lots of dramaz, MORE DRAMAZ. Did I mention dramaz? Some of the more recent dramaz I've encountered had me leaving a sim I actually enjoyed simply so I could AVOID CONTACT with the person, even with them muted/derendered -- I just don't want to be around them at all. Period. The only thing I've managed to find during my time on SL is a way to spend money I don't have on digital crap that has no real meaning. :T

I just want good roleplay, but why must it be so hard to find? D:

Now, I seem to be weening myself off from SL with Minecraft! This seems to be more successful when I'm not in a shitty mood, and the catcubus has been in a shitty mood as of late. =3= Anyhoo, MC is the shits, I love making stuff, and enjoy the server I'm on with other fwiends too. Yay.

But.. I need something to state my desire for roleplay, that ISN'T SL. Text based RP? Probably.

It was suggested to me that I "should" come up with a sexy avian-type female character for the possibly of roleplay or just an excuse to draw sexy pictures of her. Problem is, I've never really given Avian that much attention. I mean, I think ravens and peach face lovebirds are awesome, but I haven't exactly seen them in 'that way'.

So, I have no clue what type of avian I should base this character on. I'd rather not go to the extremes and decide to make a bird that looks like they digested a box of glowsticks, but I want an avian that is naturally attractive.

Any suggestions?

I've been thinking about picking this one up and trying it out, but I'm still undecided if I want to. If it's heavily pvp-geared, then I won't enjoy it. If it's more like "WoW" where you can quest out in the world alone where the only real danger are mobs, then I'd been more inclined to trying it out.

I haven't touched WoW (again) for a little over a month now. I probably will revisit Azeroth, but just not right now. Been having a lot of fun playing Plants vs Zombies as well as visiting Tapestries furry MUCK. Not to mention working on my other hobbies that I've ignored for a long time.

But yeah, if anyone out there actually plays this game, I've got a few questions for you!
