So stressed
Posted a year agoI'm horrified for the future lately.
Anyway, I have been trying to get back on track but I have found out that I have diabetes.
I quit drinking Soda/cola/softdrinks...
I will be at https://www.mephitfurmeet.org/ this year. With my Daughter.
In a new furry costume, hopefully.
To really make you all feel Old... My daughter is 30 years old now.
My Cat Autumn. She's now 20.
Percy is no longer with us, he decided to join Gideon over the rainbow bridge. He was a good cat too. I miss Gideon still, everyday I think about him.
BTW, My Muse decided to stay on Vacation in Hawaii, so... I haven't Drawn in a while sorry all.

How has time passed?
Posted 2 years agoI am old.
October 18 was my birthday, now it's almost the end of October.
I'm now 53 years of age, Hard to believe I have been Married for over 30 years.
I haven't done a lot of art in the past month because of work and other things.
I have a few ideas in my mind what I want to do lately. An idea for a couple stories,
OH We have a new Family Member, his Name is Django. He's a little slick black kitty, When we first got him from the pound, his name was "Gene"... Maybe... It was fate... *smiles*

An Update of sORTS
Posted 2 years agoLooks Like I have been busy, I guess.
Work keeps me busy Most days.
I am an Obituary Clerk for the local papers, I have been trying to keep track of work Trying to catch up on my life.
I have gained weight and I am trying my best to lose weight and start feeling better. I don't drink Soda/Pop/Cola... Etc. Anymore. I like Tea, without sugar or drinking some fizzy water. No sugar added.
I work with several different people, and They all enjoy Chocolate, So I am the candy provider it seems.
Last Month around April 22 - May 2, for OUR 30th Year Anniversary. My Husband and I went to Maui, Hawaii.
It was so beautiful there. We went to the Volcano; Mount Haleakalā and watched the Sun Rise in the East, every night we watched the sun set in the West. The View from our room was beautiful.
While we were gone though.......
Our cat; Gideon ... Passed away. He was the best, I cry every time I think about him, I miss him so much. He died suddenly, he wasn't sick... I just miss my boy so much. He was one of the softest, smartest and most adorable little cats I ever had in my Life. He was only 7 years old and just had a Birthday at the beginning of April. He was my Giddy Kitty, My Little man, that wore Pantaloons. Fluffy Booty.
Sorry I'm crying again.

It's been a while
Posted 3 years agoGood day to you.
I hope your year has been better for you than me.
I am still working for the local paper as an Obituary Clerk. I had to help my husband write his mother's obituary, I tried to work on the day I made the obit but I got severely ill and had to call my co-worker in for me.
My Husband and his sister have gotten along and have divided things evenly among one another. No Arguments are good. So next year things will become better... I'm hoping.
We are looking for renovating our house and then later moving to a new neighborhood. (That is all up in the air.)
I have gained a lot of weight during Covid-lockdown... (I took prednisone when my asthma hit hard) so Ron and I have bought an elliptical machine and I have absolutely no motivation. I have been trying though. Trying to do sit ups too. Stopped Drinking soda/cola/pop... whatever you all call it.
Anyway... All in all,
I am alive still. So is my Husband and Daughter.
My father is doing better and My mom is doing well too.

Bad few days

This day feels extremely surreal...
I want to say,
Cancer sucks.

Things That have happened
Posted 3 years agoMarch Came in like a wreaking ball!
My husband's Uncle passed away, (Covid related)
My motherinlaw is in denial that she has cancer again, she's feeling bad as well, cannot keep food down and cannot do other things like going out and driving, she also believes she may have broke her collar bone or a rib. Not sure which. We tell her she should go to the hospital but she refuses. I feel a bit upset that she is being stubborn (She had gone to the hospital at the middle of February, and now she won't go back.)
I've just been trying to stay happy for my husband and daughter's sake but Kassy argues with Ron at the drop of a hat.
On another Note: I started a new Medicine for my asthma, I hope it will help stem the tide of my asthma going out of control again.
anyway... how are you all doing?

I now have Covid.
Weeee! anyway, I am home for a couple days. Congested and coughing. Started with a sore throat and Major headache, but so far I haven't been too bad.
It's possible this is mild because of the Vaccine

The Inevitable
Posted 3 years agoWell,
Fully Vaccinated family here.
My Family has Covid:
My Husband has Omnicron
My Daughter has Omnicron
Me: Negative.
I guess being negative is good in this case?
Although the other two are driving me to go slowly insane.

Posted 4 years agoOctober 18th came and zipped by.
That was my Birthday BTW. I am now 51. Over a half a century.
I have gained weight, yes.
Not a lot of gray yet.
Not a grandmother. (yay!) (Daughter still lives at home.)
Still married to Ron.
I have 5 cats and One Dog
I have a full time job, still have asthma and I suffer from anxiety and depression. But all in all, I guess I am alright.

I am no longer going to....
Posted 4 years agoI'm no longer going to participate in inktober-drawtober whatever tober... I'm too busy-tober.
With the resurgence of Covid-19, hitting worse than before, I have already figured out why... (I had my vaccine).
The reason why is pretty blatant: No one is social-distancing and wearing masks. but the ones that haven't gotten the Vaccine are making it worse for the ones that had their Vaccines.
VACCINATE!!
It is better to suffer the small insignificant symptoms than the full blown disease.
Hmm.... Achy muscles and being tired vs. being hooked up to a Ventilator and dying.
I know about all this because I put Obituaries together for the local papers here; about 96% of the recent Obits have been because of Covid-19!!

What has happened??
Posted 4 years agoThis Post Origin is on My Tumblr Page: https://catnel.tumblr.com/post/6564.....t-has-happened
I feel I need to ask on what happened to being Nice???
What happened with being polite?
What happened to treating someone as an equal?
What happened to just saying something to encourage and help?
Why do people have to be cruel and mean?
Why get so mad at just the smallest inconvenience?
I’m a reasonable person and it takes me a long time to get angry... When I do I get unreasonable and incoherent. My brain shuts down... and I just want to scream. I don’t get to lose my temper often. When I hold back and let it fester... I end up breaking down into Depression and fits of Anxiety as well.
I just wish people would learn to stop getting so angry, stop blaming others for their own problems. Stop being Karens or “whatever the hell the slang is now.” Stop being being Racists, Bigots, Sexists... etc... You don’t need to call the police on a person crossing the street. For once... MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!
If you do not like something, Don’t say anything, move along! Find something that you do enjoy or like.
“If You cannot say anything NICE... Don’t say anything at all!”

Posted 4 years agoSorry all, I have been slipping lately.
My father has been really bad off for a few months, after breaking his neck he's been having many problems.
I'm still an Obituary Clerk for the local newspaper.
I got both Covid 19 vaccines.
At the end of August my husband and I will be going to a convention in New Orleans. It will be my second time in New Orleans.

Happy New Year
Posted 5 years agoI am hoping for a better year, but I have So many thoughts running about my head. I am extremely apprehensive, Going to take it day by day.
The past day... (Jan 2) was my mom's Birthday. Today (Jan 3) Is my Dad's birthday.
The 4th... Is my Daughter's Birthday.
nightmarestar I Suggest throwing her Birthday Greetings Tomorrow.
First off, My father had Broke his neck, He fell out of bed Hit his head on his nightstand. (Its been a month, and he keeps getting referred to different doctors. They might have to do surgery.
I got a Cricut for Christmas, so I am trying to find a way to work it with my drawing tablet, but I plugged the tablet in today and Now it doesn't want to work for me. I'm frustrated with it slightly.
Anyway, I am still chugging along with my job as an Obituary Clerk.

Not doing well
Posted 5 years agoI have a job. Check
My Family is fine. Check
I am depressed again...
I felt overwhelmed earlier with work but I managed to get through it.
My depression comes out of no where, everything seems to be going smoothly until something that makes me feel bad.
Some days I just don't want to get out of bed.
The only thing that keeps me going is my family and friends.

A new Job
Posted 5 years agoWell,
After working as a daily temperature taker at a State government run facility, I now get to start a new job after getting a interview.
My husband came home one evening saying that his place was looking for a new clerk, he suggested I send my resume through email. So I sent my resume to my Husband, he then forwarded it down to the man hiring.
So I got an interview and I guess I impressed him.
He did have three others for an interview but mine stood out the best, I got a job at the local newspaper. My husband works in the Internet department (3rd floor) and I'll be in the newsroom area, (1st floor)
Tues - Sat 9:30-6:00
I'm gonna be an Obituary Clerk. I know that sounds morbid, but it won't be too bad. People get into contact with me. (that is actually the way I like things.
Also on another note, My birthday is October 18.
I'll be the big 50. The problem with that is I have to renew my license at that time and I hate going to the DMV.
But my husband gave me an early birthday gift. A brand new drawing tablet. A Huion KAMVAS 13. Oh it's going to get some getting used to but I can't wait to use it.

BORING!
BORING!
temporary Job
Posted 5 years agoI just got a temp job starting Monday.
I'm going to be checking temperatures of people that come in to the retirement board. (COVID-19 checker) I'm nervous but I think I can do it.
I hope I can get some hours in so I can pay off a few more debts.

What is on my mind...
Posted 5 years ago(Notes are TURNED OFF! Email me, my info is on my commission page.)
Several things on my mind:
(If you do not agree with me on things. It's my opinion, if you don't like it, move along.)
1. Politics. I absolutely Abhor Politics and I absolutely hate people talking about it. My opinion is this: I hate this administration and I hate what this administration has done to this country. (We can do SOOOOOOOOOO Much better... please...)
2. Religion. I am a Agnostic on the cusp of Atheism. I don't like some Christians that think they are the know all end all of religions, They push their beliefs onto people and cause wars. Hypocrites that go to church say they are good Christians and then go to a store the same day and start spout out how much better they are and calling others bad names for not being "their" Religion. I get tired of it. And the problem is Self-righteousness. (Isn't that a sin? Pride?)
3. Just because you have money doesn't mean you make the rules. I dislike people think they are better than others because of finances. I believe everyone (No matter what financial situation you are in) Should do a year of working Retail to know what it is like to do it.
4. Anti-Vaxxers. Stop looking at the Internet for "research". Stop thinking you know more than REAL DOCTORS, SCIENTISTS, ASTRONAUTS. Stop being ignorant and stop spreading ignorance to others.
5. I try my best to like people, no matter who they are what they are or where they come from. I love my friends. My friends are all colors of the rainbow and that is what the rainbow represents, To love people NO matter who they are.
I believe in the right of choice, I believe in the right for all people.
No one should be singled out because of Race, sexuality, gender or religion.
I know I am not perfect, No one is.
I will get angry, I will get sad, I go through depression and anxiety. I am scared to post this but I will do it... So... *deep breath here goes...

Things on my mind
Posted 5 years agoI'm going to be 50 in October
The Big... Five... Oh!
Oh Lord Help me...
Anyway, I have been having HAND issues. My Left hand is numb and It hurts to use it too much, but I fight through the pain to create.
(please commission me: I'm affordable.) (Email only no notes.)
This year has been extremely Odd: to say the least...
I worry a lot about my family. My Father ended up in the hospital for Pneumonia last week, it wasn't Covid 19 related, but It still scared my mother and I.
Mom was so distraught she was crying on the phone to me about it. I felt so helpless since they wouldn't let anyone see my dad while he was in the hospital.
____
In other news... Still help out a friend of mine. She lost her mother, who is a nurse... to a brain aneurysm. It could happen to ANYBODY! So please consider donating or sharing her post. Thank you!!

Update.
Posted 5 years agoI have been trying to think of new stories. Been working towards a story that doesn't involve MLP. (yeah)
Anyway in the mean time I have been looking for a job. I took a test last weekend hoping to get a job with the State. I have had problems lately though. I have gained a lot of Weight, and my knees are suffering as well as my asthma. So I am trying to lose the weight I gained. Trying by not drinking too much soda, eating less snacks between meals.
My left hand is suffering from Ulnar Pinched nerve. My Left Pinkie and ring finger numb up and cause a lot of pain. I know it's not arthritis, but it sure hurts.
I'm still drawing.
that's all

December Blues
Posted 6 years agoFeeling really sad, really down, really not festive. Sometimes I don't understand the point of being here.
I drew a couple things, but I still don't know the point of anything. My friends cheer me up a little bit, but I feel like I am a terrible person and I feel like I am a waste of space.
I am not trying to get pity but I am really depressed right now. It's so bad lately that I am Losing hair scabbing all over my Scalp, My asthma has been bad and I have sores in my mouth.
My husband constantly asks me what is wrong and I cannot really answer because I don't have an answer. I feel so worn out, I have been looking for a job for several months and I go to so many interviews and I am turned down for several. I'm beginning to give up. I can't anymore... I just can't...
Anyway....
I updated My Etsy account, Not that it means anything.
