Finally got a much-needed breast reduction last month! It's not the top surgery I ultimately want, but it was completely covered by my insurance because of my back problems and chronic migraines, and it's a huge relief to be a more reasonable size.

On the downside, instead of using my recovery time to draw and write like I'd intended, I've ended up not being able to do either because of nerve irritation radiating from my chest to my upper arms. I've also had a lot of shoulder pain/tension because of how limited my range of motion has been, which has actually cause more headaches. But I'm two weeks out from surgery now, meaning I can move more, so hopefully that's over with.

My cat, Kali, has also pretty much recovered from her subluxation!

I still need to get pics taken and uploaded of 3D art of various kinds. Once that and a few other obligations are done, I may try my hand at monster adoptables, since I've had some ideas bouncing around. Also wanna design some adoptable Pokemon, maybe.

Good news: her only serious injury seems to be a sacroiliac subluxation, which basically means that part of her pelvis that attaches to the spine via ligaments and muscles is "loose" and there may be associated fractures, but it's something that should heal on its own without surgery.

Bad news: it happened right when I was rushing to get things submitted for the county fair, and I'm broke as shit, so it also kind of severely fucked up my schedule. We also couldn't afford to get x-rays done, so the vet diagnosed my cat with a manual exam and gave her pain meds. She seems like everything's working okay and she's just in pain, so there probably isn't internal damage or nerve damage, but I wish I'd been able to do more.

Speaking of jewelry, I'm going to start posting some of mine here. I do a variety of things with chain, beads, and charms, including custom work, and primarily work with metal findings, metal charms, glass beads, and semiprecious stone beads and focals, and occasionally with hemp, resin, and found objects/bones. Once I have at least a few examples uploaded, I'll be opening jewelry commissions.

I also do doll-sized jewelry! Got an art doll that needs some accessories? Maybe a BJD or a custom Monster High repaint? I make necklaces, earrings, bracelets, body jewelry - anything, really! I can even do miniature mermaid tiaras and flower crowns.

I'm also going to be uploading some polymer clay art, including both wearable things (pendants and charms) and display pieces (tiny bottles and hanging "terrariums" filled with moss, silk or paper flowers, crystals, and tiny little dragon sculptures). I may be offering custom work in this area as well.

Later on, I plan to do some work with found animal bones (roadkill leftovers, hunting leftovers, natural deaths). Need to look into local laws first, though.

Lastly, the county fair's coming up, and I have to finish a bunch of entries! I'll probably be scarce online until they're done, but hopefully in the next few months I'll be a lot more active here.
