And it's DEFINITELY lgbtq+ friendly. Your issues are social/emotional with are topics included in mental health and I want to offer support there too. I'm a pansexual/demigirl myself, so like, why wouldn't that matter to me?

Basically, I want this to be a friendly, safe space for artists to share their work and discuss their issues in a nonjudgmental atmosphere.

I'm not doing ok. I actually have a Wishlist on Amazon with medical items I think would heighten the quality of my life one way or the other.

Between the pain in my elbow and the mental health bullshit... I suffer.

I don't dislike any genre. Either I like a song or I don't. And if you share something with me, it has sentimental value to me. So even if mechanically I dislike the tune, I'll still associate it with our friendship or acquaintanceship and it'll mean something to me anyway. So there is nothing to fear in showing me what you like.

OK so it's not fair lol. I'm going through their "This Is" on Spotify, which for those not familiar, is a Playlist Spotify designs automatically somehow based on I guess what people like? I don't get it exactly but I do notice it changes periodically with some bands.

So I ordered it. It'll be here Sunday. The pen and keyboard will be here a few weeks from then, unfortunately, so I still gotta wait before I can really procure anything with it. 😭 But I'm excited nonetheless.

Yeah, I'd been spiraling out a tad, and not in the cool Tool way. Almost went grippy socks but wound up staying out of the hospital. I am gonna try intensive outpatient therapy though. Not wild about the idea but whatever.

Anyway, I'm in the process of getting new art equipment so new art will be soon. My Surface is all I got and it's a piece of shit. So I'm trying to replace it with my taxes. I gotta pay a few bills, then I'mma do it.

Yeah, everyone in my house is fuckin sick. Flu or something, idk. Friends of mine from across the country are sick af too or were recently. I also got it hard back in October. Yee.

Yeah it's my birthday, lol. That's, why I made the Lateralus art. Didn't do a whole lot, just day drank and slept for the most part. Went to Walmart yesterday and got a single serving slice of cake, xD.

...yeah idk. I'm hyper rn.

Anyway, I'm doing a little better I think. I need furniture in the worst way lol but living with my in laws will assist me in saving just for that. We're gonna get cheap shit to get by while we're here, and then save for better stuff for when we actually move out.

Once I get a clipboard I can continue with owed arts though. Although one person's sketch did make it through. But I'm just kinda doing therapeutic doodles for now. I don't really have a good space for art, which annoys me.

Nothing feels real. Idk. I only feel normal when I'm near Flickie. And I don't care if that makes me codependent. I really don't. I'm not expecting anything from him. No extra attention. I just want him to do what he's always done. So you know what, I feel like if I am being codependent, I'm handling it well. I'm not imposing it. Because we all got our flaws that we have to navigate through. And sometimes they can't be dealt with immediately.

I'll probably feel better when we get our own space again, but tbh I'm scared now. Who's to say something like this won't happen again? I mean... I lived in my first apartment for 7 years before a new landlord kicked us out to raise the rent to bullshit heights, and only 3 before a new landlord did the same. And then the landlord at the place I was supposed to move into just basically sold me $2000 worth of bullshit. If that apartment wasn't trash, I'd be there. With nothing to my name. And scrambling to make ends meet on top of furnishing the place and paying back my grandma. So maybe it bottoming out was a silver lining. Maybe I needed this time to heal some debts, obtain necessities and plan for my future a little bit.

So yeah, I'm all moved in now, lol. It's uh, different. I mean, it's mostly the same, I just have to take down my volume a tad. I already have a volume issue with the loudness of my voice... I speak way too loud all the time. Think it's how I grew up. If you weren't loud, you weren't heard. And no, no one was deaf/hard of hearing. I was just raised by the Always Sunny cast, Dx

I think the biggest issue for me will be having to keep the speaker volume lower. I listen to fuckin metal, lmao. "Turn it down..." pfft.

But I got all my kitty boys and my husbunny so I'm all good.

My last night at my apartment is Monday. Then... I'll be living with my in-laws, rebuilding my life. I'm hoping it won't take longer than a year before Flickie and I can get out on our own, but you never know.

Its surreal. Life doesn't feel real anymore.

So I can't move into the apartment I paid for back on the 1st. It's dangerously unlivable. So... To my chagrin, I have to move in with my in laws for a while. Long enough to fight this realtor in court and get the money I sunk into this place back and find somewhere else to go.

Flickie and I were thinking of biding our time here and saving a nest egg. I know it sounds bad... I'm 35. But I'm trying to stay positive.

So I'm not gonna get into a lot. Just that I'm uncomfortable with the platform now and I don't know what all Elon Musk plans to do with it. People are saying, himself included, that Twitter might become a paid service. Which if that happens, I will have to bow out of there. Right now it looks like the paid features only apply to anyone who wants the illustrious blue check. But if I have to pay for artistic reach or have limitations on my uploads, or anything that costs more than the zero dollars I pay to use the platform now, then I gotta go. Plus, idk if I'll get banned for anything arbitrary.

Yeah I'm still around. I got some owed art too. But it'll probably go untouched until I have solid footing with my new place. I just can't think in so many dimensions right now.

I keep getting struck by glints of motivation to draw yeah, but I can't focus on it now. Too much else to think about.

But I'm ok. It's just a lot to take in for me.

But I have them from time to time. I'm moving soon and I'm hoping the new environment will be a good thing. I mean I don't want to move, but it is what it is.

I've definitely got my spark but I got super shy about working on art in front of my husband anymore. Nothing he did wrong, it was gradual. He said I even stopped really showing him art at all. And while it's been a bad art year for me, he's still right. I didn't even notice that. So I showed him a few things I knew I didn't show him.

I think it's just burnout from my job. Like I just feel like a phone with planned obsolescence in my battery. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. No idea where that quote if from, lmao.

Anyway, I'm starting to feel better. Probably some vent art to come in between commissions/owed art. But y'all are lovely for listening to me rant and being so patient with art I owe, or just art you'd like to see from me. When I'm in full swing, I got some gifties for some of y'all planned. ❤️‍🔥

Sorry. After I got news I have to fucking move, I got the flu, lol. It's just not my year.
