With the risk of sounding helpless, I need a bit of modding help...

I know how to install forge and what not... but no matter what mod I try (Rei's Minimap, instant houses, etc.), nothing will work. It recognizes that the mods were installed, but then the items in the mods will only show as glitched purple and black boxes, and will crash if used!

I've watched tutorials and everything, no one seems to have a solution for me! eAe


After I uninstalled forge, I tried Mod Loader. It works just fine! The mod I tried (Animal bikes) works wonderfully on it...

But a lot of mods require forge, so I need it to work x.x

Also, any advice on setting up my own server?
