So... Does anyone here remembers his or her first year as an artist? Or your first days having a Furaffinity / X art site account? Well, it sometimes can be difficult for an artist to follow up if said artist doesn't get any support during those days, and that's why I would like to write this journal for helping a Young artist who is starting his art career alongside his FA account

He is  mysticpanda a good friend of mine and artist in the making. He's been drawing since the beginning of the year, and for what he has done during those months he had been doing very good. I'm writing this so you guys can support him by: Commenting or faving his artwork / giving some advices, tutorials or references for future art / suggest him artists either experimented or proffessional ones so he can learn from their artwork / chatting or saying hi to him for once in a while.

I had this kind of support when I was starting, that's why I would like to do the same for others that are starting. Banda, how you guys are doing today!? For me, it's the start of one of the bests months the year has for me: JULY! And with the come of the month, the good news come as well!

First things first, I FINALLY FINISHED MY 4TH SEMESTER OF COLLEGE! And I passed all my clases! Including the one I flunked last semester, Algorythms and Data Structures (fuck, I shouldnt have written that down, yeah it's too late to delete that now). This one being semester number 4 of my class plan, marks the ending of the normative / common classes period of the major, and now it starts the other half of it, in which you can pick whatever the classes you want, the number of classes you want and the area you want to be in. For the case of Digital Art (my career) you can pick between Animation or Game Creation. It is pretty obvious I prefer animation.

Hey guys, I just wanted to ask you for something. Not really a question, but more like you giving me advices on something I have troubles with.

So you know, recently I've been posting so much fat related drawings, and most of them is just the fat animal and nothing else. I thought it would be funnier or more interesting to put some story, theme or something to complement the weight gain and make the drawing more than an expanded belly.

I tried to figure out any good ways to gain the weight or to put some weird yet funny situation, but seems that the ideas don't go very well. I want to write this journal so you guys can tell if you got any interesting idea for a weight gain story, situation or thematic so I can get more variety on the fatties.

These 9 years were very hard. There was more space than the one I got used to. Long time of empty chairs on dinner, a still car and an immobile office chair. I try to convince myself that this is just a long time to not see you, and I fool myself by thingking you'll walk again into the front door and say hi to me once more like November 2nd. It's also been rough to Mom and sis, but we got the memories, the good times that came, the things you grew on life. Those things, as long as I still remember you and love you, will be there. Hey guys, DrawVeller writing in the middle of the night since I'm too nervous to sleep for tonight.

Now on this exact day I am 2 weeks away of summer vacations and 90% of freedom a 22 y/o can get. So it means its FINALS SEASON Cabrones! I would like to say that this time is not that hard the Works I have to do. Thank god I only have to do work for 4 classes, since on one my teacher flunked us and in another our teacher didn't leave any Project for now. Most of the stuff I have to do is Storyboard and character design related, so I must admit that it wont be rough to work on it, if I get a Schedule to work on. This was an easy semester, as I felt it, Idk if to wait or not for the next one since I gotta work on stuff for this one.

So this may be my journal for the next weeks depending on if I have enough time to write updates or drawing the traditional stuff I do, but its only for 2 weeks and once they're over, I'LL BE HERE!

Hey guys, new month new journal! And guess what? IM BACK IN DIGITALS NOW! Yesterday my parents went to search for the new charger meanwhile I was at school/art expo another statal university made up. So now I'm announcing my triumphant return to DO DIGITAL ARTWORK!!!

Also, this week my finals are officially beginning, but somehow it's not as hard or heavy as in other semesters. Mostly since the Creativa thing, most of my teachers assigned projects and tasks in which I am on the storyboard/concept art area of said projects. So I guess it won't be that hard, otherwise I have 2 classes in which my teachers doesn't give any final on each.

So I guess that would be all. I might not be open for art trades during this month, but if you have a cool idea we can fix it and bet to do it. See you guys next journal!

Hallo, writing again just to make sure some things clear.

As some few people of you know, I've got a Discord account, I'm using as an alternative to Telegram so I can chat with people who only use Discord and for people who use both with no problem, like me. I normally use Telegram since its more easier to me, but if youre not a Telegram person and rather use Discord, you can ask me about my ID and we can do some chat :)

Another point I would talk or write about. This week in particular was very ink-ish for me and you can see it on the gallery as well. The reason for that is that, after leaving to Creativa, the charger of my laptop has "died". I put it on "" since I did research of how to fix the charger by myself or to see if it was something serious. At first I thought it was only the battery or if that was the one who "died" because whenever I plugged the laptop to the charger, it says Connected but Not Charging. Later on that day on college, I asked a friend who has an HP laptop like me to lend me for a class his charger and oh boy the battery was fine and well. So I might get some new charger this weekend or before July I hope, and go back to work on digital doodlin'. I would like to thank  fat_louie for his assistance and suggestions with me to solve this lil dilema.

Hey guys, I returned from Creativa Fest and it was one of the best experiences I ever had!

So let me tell you what it was about. Some animation studios, companies, universities and comic editors were at the Mine Palace (palacio de minería) offering jobs, innerships, portfolio review and conferences. Including Nickelodeon, anima studios, the ones who made the concept art of Rogue One, Walt Disney studios and indie authors or illustrators like the author of The Mountain With Teet and John Dilworth, the creator of Courage the Cowardly Dog.

One of the best things that happened to me was a portfolio review from Nickelodeon consultants. I've got 15 minutes to show only the best parts of my gallery, including an animation, and receive a little feedback. They told me I was very great at drawing, that my art style would fit for concept art of a 2D feature movie animation, and they suggested me to draw turn arounds for character design and practice on expressions, so the animators can know how will the character looks like.

Now that I got home yesterday and also got back to reality (ugh...) it's time to put on practice these new advices and knowledge to improve my doodles and reach for the best and the highest.

I wanna also give thanks for those who have been with me in this wild journey since I started drawing, and also those who came along on the following days. You've people always inspired me to give only the best of me for you guys, to expand my art to new horizons, to meet new friends on the road, and to be glad to know that I make people happy with the stuff that makes me happy.

I can't put names on this journal since on these 6 years of furry shitpost and art I've got a whole bunch of friends, admirers and idols to look up to, and because all of you mean the most to me, and I wanna say thank you and that I love you.

I hadn't tell you guys this before because it was a school thing that hadn't got the definite Yes or Green light for it, and now that it's true or confirmed, I gotta tell you

For those who watch me at Mexico, you know that once a year there is a festival called Creativa Fest, where animators artists creators and coders worldwide reunite on Mexico City to talk about experiences, creative process and motivation for new artists like me.

My 3D animation teacher told us that the pack that we bought includes entering into the talks and conferences for the 3 days the expo has. Meaning that I'm gonna stay at Mexico City for an entire weekend and I believe there wont be good internet.

Im saying that, at the time I get on Creativa, I wont be able to upload stuff into the gallery, I wont be able to be at the streams you guys do or that I do, Im gonna find out a way to stream via Picarto the expo with my cellphone camera or something. With all that in mind, it seems like and it is a hiatus. Don't take it too bad, is just for 3 days (well, almost 3 days since I'll get back home by 11pm right on time to catch up and saying Hey Im back!), you will see more of my art, and I hope it will be improoved by then

I got a super real question (I know the answer, but anyways) about the funko Pops

Last weekend, on Free Comic Book Day, I got on a raffle 3 funko Pops: North Pole Camo Barman, Iron Fist Gold and Iron Man keychain size, all of them Mint In Box since then and with box protector

Now, I have always wanted to have Funko Pop figures since the Game Of Thrones ones were announced, and never got the chance to buy one. Now I got the chance to get finally 3 by 2.5 USD (50 pesos Mexicanos) and I'm so happy about it

The question is: Should I keep them Mint in Box or open the box? I know it may depend on how would I collect figures (All of my figures I have except the funkos were bought with no box) but I want to know your experiences or how do you collect them. And if any of my funkos are rare or something,

Hey guys, DrawVeller here.

You know I love to doodled hyper fat or hulkified versions of many anthro/furry characters of different media. It's something I'm comfortable to draw alongside its SFW, but as I get more into media and/or discover new stories, there has been special characters to me. Not in a look level, but I get sympathized by their story. I fall in love (something to explain my point) with their backstories, their developement as a character and how it envolves into the world. It's so cool to me that, at a momento I find out fat/muscle art featuring them, I feel dizzy or I think its disrespectful to the character.

That's why I decided to create a list of Banned or Forbidden characters (to me) to be drawn on fat/muscle depending on the chase. The list will grow depending on suggestions by others or how I feel about other stories and stuff

.-ROCKET RACCOON-. I know, I did a fat rocket doodle a few weeks ago and that launched my gallery to new levels of popularity and stock. I had no problems of drawing him on that state JUST before movie 2 of GOTG. The role of Rocket there was so well written and heart touching, I felt dirty the very moment the movie ended (If you seen the movie, you know what moment), and since then I don't want any fat/muscle related Rocket picture

.-MERCENARY (Muscle allowed)-. It seems so surprising how, having an anime not aired yet (asking about March) there is already A LOT of fanart featuring Yohei. Most of what I've seen was clean, wasn't brave enough to put on the Adult filter because the story of Yohei. A fallen beast wanting to become human again. I like the idea so much, and gives a plus to the character's reason to be on the story. And with that in mind, I know there will be a lot of Fat/Muscle drawings of him, and there will not be any single drawing of mine on the fat section. Im ok with muscle on him, but on a limit.

For the moment I have those 2. If you have your list of banned characters to expand their bodies, let me know in the comments and maybe will be banned from me too. Who knows.

I know the block button is a quick resource for stalkers and crappy people, but SERIOUSLY!? I had a mini heart attack trying to type something on the browser and I ended up blocking someone accidentally; I'm not saying who, on the first second I did unblock him/her and everything went back to normal once again.

Jesus, that shit has to come with a warning of a password authorization if you pressed that button by mistake like me. What the hell?

It's weird, its like midnight when I'm writing this. I'm supposed to go to sleep right now, but idk why I got in the mood of writing. Well, if I'm going to write so I can get tired and go to sleep, I gotta write something worth writing for.

Since the last week of January, more accurate on Saturday, I started taking German classes. No, it wasn't any of my new year goals neither a necessity I had when starting college, but here in my city speaking German is now a big request in order to get a job. And for the moment, my future plans does not involve getting out of Mexico. Also, alongside English, German was the most accesible 'cause the clases are in the same campus I take the regular classes.

At first it wasn't difficult but you had to put attention the whole time to understeand it. I remember one thing that I always joke with family and Friends is how the numbers are said on German: For example, take the number of the year I was born: 1995 or Nineteen Ninety Five. Now, in German it is said EintausendNeunhunderFunfundneunzig, it's like saying One thousand Nine hundred five and Ninety. Is it that crazy or what?

But hey, the saturday before my birthday was the last day of the German I class, and I got a 9 (A-) as final grade, which was both amazing and curious, 'cause I remember having a 7 (B-) on a middle course exam and I was one of the only three people who passed that exam.

Yes I am going on studying German, and while I do it I can think about some perks about it in terms of animation or comic writing, or switching to other language in other case, who knows?
