Due to issues regarding my mental health and RL troubles taking a toll on things in ways I'd rather not discuss publically, I might have to postpone posting up artwork for at least this week. I can perhaps *TRY* to stream commission work later on, but right now my anxiety issues are getting a bit much that I can't focus on art I owe to others. I apologize greatly for this.

That said, though, I WILL be finishing up owed art as soon as I am able to. And regarding any future commissioned artwork I'd like to be able to do after I am caught up with said owed art, I have a simple question:

What kind of commissioned work would you like me to do more of, or at all?

What do you usually ask for in a commission?

If ever I should expand to start making merch (like I am super-slowly trying to do with my still-a-work-in-progress Redbubble store, for example), anything you think I should try working on?

Do you just...want me to draw my own stuff again for a change?

I had several ideas for a new YCH in mind. This...is not it. This was me messing around with Clip Studio Pro and ending up with this (the poke-fans in the audience might recognize who I was originally trying to draw, in fact). The finished pic may well be done in Paint Studio Pro as well, or at least the lineart will be.

Because it's such a simple enough concept and not something I prepared for, I'm going to keep things relatively simple this time around.

-A hi-res colored version of your character in the pose, in both PNG and JPG format. How it will be colored will depend on the resulting bid.


WHAT YOU MAY REQUEST:

-Female characters ONLY
-Any humanoid species, including human and pokemorphs.
- Build can be altered to fit the character to a certain degree, simply ask me ahead of time if you're uncertain if a character of a certain build can be drawn or not for this.
-Wings can be added, though consider the image and whether you're ok with a portion of them being "offscreen" or not.
-May be clothed in simple attire or NSFW-levels of nude (that is, with actual nipples and whatnot)

Would I do this again? I dunno, guess it's up to you guys. I have a couple ideas so far (though I am open to more):

1) Another Smash-themed one, maybe with another stage entirely and with the offer of cosplaying your favorite character from the series from the get go rather than as a bonus incentive.

2) A Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire themed one for people with pokemorphs/people whose fursona you don't mind seeing as pokemorphs.

3) Something Halloween-themed?

4) Something significantly more low-key, like a simple couple one, either being romantic or kicking butt together in some way

5) Something Kamen Rider-themed. Hey, I can dream...

6) Your character interacting with one of mine in some way

7) Something else entirely

Sorry about this, folks. Due to RL and time eating away at me, plus lack of energy and several other issues I'd rather not get into, no stream tonight after all. The one person who did properly chime in with interest, though, will probably be getting their pic done sometime this weekend once I have words with them.

I might try this again at a later date, though, albeit with some significant modifications on how I advertise myself, among other things. I upped the prices of most of my regular commission prices (which you can see here) by a single dollar. Yes, this is my "bawww Paypal fees are meanybutts" answer, as I don't mind paying the fees, but DO mind when I ask for 25 and get 24-and-change instead. Little bit goes a long way and all that jazz. THE EXCEPTION to this is the 100 Palette Challenge pic for reasons that should be obvious. Oh and please don't offer to pay extra for the fee charges, I don't want to get in trouble with Paypal :(

Speaking of the 100 Palette Challenge, slight update on that as well in case you're curious: I went and added a small bonus incentive to those that donate $20 USD or more for their pic of choice to include making a "wallpaper" version of their pic. I'd just need you to specify ahead of time (that is, BEFORE I draw your pic) what kind of wallpaper you want and what size you want it. Also, for those that missed the news on that, I also went and increased your ability to ask for freebie art (that is, palette pics of my own characters) by *3*. This includes those that had gotten freebies prior to the rules change, so feel free to ask away for anyone who hasn't been drawn yet! The FAQ (which also got updated to make it a bit more user-friendly!) includes some ideas, in case you need them.

And FINALLY, about that Stream Commish thing. I am thinking of doing a sort of "test run" tomorrow Friday, October 3, sometime in the evening AST, to see how well I can handle doing a commission drawn right on the spot during the commission proper, so I'm going to be opening up TWO SPOTS for a pic that will be paid for TOMORROW and finished up TOMORROW during said stream.

It will be a flat color pic, minimum to no backround pic for the low price of $31 USD (lower than my usual, which is 46) with a Costume/Cosplay theme. It may also be a couples pic for the low price of $41 USE. For examples of what you'd get, see here and here.

PAYPAL ONLY. PLEASE have both visual references of both character and the costume you want me to draw them on hand. Keep in mind my Terms of Service in terms of what is and is not kosher.

That is to say, how do you handle cash transactions for commissions that are specifically for drawing during your stream, especially when you use a invoice system? Obviously I want to avoid having to look up my paypal account while I am streaming and am looking for ideas of how to best manage this, as I am really really tempted to start doing these more often in the future for many reasons. Any suggestions on how to do this would be very appreciated.

Two quick things. First, last day to throw in on this poll for Palette Challenge commissioners. Second, MIGHT stream later tonight, no guarantees. Though fair warning, if I do, I might vent over dumb stuff. Read below for a clue why.


So funny thing. I was just writing down one of those "character meme" things for one of my original characters and then circumstances happened that led me to a dreadful realization.

No one cares.

No one cares for my OCs.

They'll care for my Pokemorph stuff, but only because of its Pokemon roots and the work I put in it during my PCA days and even nowadays.

But I can't abandon my OC stuff. I NEED to get back to it, to tackle it on little by little, even if all I have is notes. Because those notes might lead to drawings. Those drawings might lead to stories.

Also those drawings might lead to portfolio work, but that's more of a nice bonus I can't get with the Pokemorph settings.

So here's my question: If I did a blog (Tumblr or otherwise) of my worldsetting stuff (mostly the OC stuff, since the Pokemorph stuff has a decent audience already, but I am open to suggestions), would any of you care?

Yeah, there would be art and sketches from time to time, maybe even the chance to open up for questions and suggestions later on, but mostly it'd be for personal idea-venting of the written kind. I won't say "stories", as I kind of suck at those, but who knows?

Just a quick update thing for you guys.

First up, I updated the Checklist to include the names of characters that are next tin line to be drawn so you have a better idea of what characters are still available to request or commission (that is, anyone NOT mentioned on that list is fair game)

Also a reminded I made the following journal last night including more changes to the Palette challenge, including a poll for bonus incentives for those that pay a little bit extra to the cause. Note that I'm only doing ONE of these (the one that gets the most votes) and that it's a *purely optional choice*. If you just want to grab a pic and add extra cash for the sake of thanking me further for the art, that's more than enough and I am eternally grateful for your generosity.

For the sake of argument, yes, this includes #gamergate stuff and similar controversial themes. I have enough on my plate as is with having to worry about this as well.
