Just letting everyone know I'm back from my mini hiatus. I've been offline for the past few weeks as I've had a few friends in town. I had a lot of fun but I am quite happy to have some relax time back with just my boyfriend and I. I will be working on art work so hopefully I will have some pieces to post by the end of the week.

I've been having a blast diving with my group, just went in the ocean today and saw a bunch of very pretty and big colorful fish! I'm a true wolphin now lol.

So FWA was fun, I had a blast per usual, didn't suit that much but that was due to a mysterious leg injury I've been enduring now for over a month. It has been extremely painful to do every day tasks, even working at my job has proven to be difficult. I don't know what I'd do without Tiger Balm and ibuprofen! Other than that I am still working on owed art, I've been working on a rather large but rewarding digital commission for a very patient client, as well as a few art trades.

This past Monday was my boyfriend's birthday and I had fun treating him to a few special dinners (and beer of course) as well as drawing him a nice digital piece! http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7657929 (NSFW). We also took a trip to the zoo this past weekend.

Lately we've been going to many aquariums, we're trying to visit every one in Florida! (we have a ways to go still). I also had the pleasure of seeing the Georgia Aquarium when we were in Atlanta for FWA, very cool! We laid by the whale shark tank for over an hour!

Other then that life has been going as normal, not many exciting things have happened since returning home from FWA but I have been working my tail off at my job and at home! Hopefully I will get some down time soon :).

I will be leaving for FWA on Wednesday afternoon but we will be staying at our friend's house till we get our room Friday. I will still be at the con Thursday after we spend a good chunk of time at the aquarium. We will be staying in a suite at the main hotel (Sheraton).

Ok I'm officially back from my stay cation. I miss Lucky and Skuff so much though! We had so much fun and so many adventures. We ended up going to Seaworld as well which is always awesome :). Now I gotta get back to working on commissions! There will be a lot of change in the near future including me starting to volunteer at the aquarium and also starting classes this summer or fall! I'm very excited about this year and all the positive changes. I feel like I'm finally going to get my life going in the direction I really want!

So this past week has been amazing with and visiting, we've gone on so many adventures! My favorite was when we went to Clearwater Marine Aquarium (CMA) and did the dolphin wading program. Well, the job search is starting again...wish me luck :P.

Ok....this year so far has been kinda crazy for me. I'm going through a procrastination spout and I will not deny that or sugar coat it. It happens to all of us, especially in January. Work has been driving me crazy, I'm working on finding a waitressing job else where, if anyone in the Orlando area has any restaurant/bar/barista ties please let me know, I'd love some references/help here. Long story short this hotel restaurant is the most poorly managed un organized place I've veer seen and I can't take it anymore, the money is decent but at what cost?

I apologize to those who are waiting on shipments from me, I've been bad about that, I'm shipping out some badges today and I will be going through my folders as well, if you know you're waiting on something in the mail from me please let me know, I'll throw something extra in for your troubles. and your badges are out in the mail. The only owed art I have to do is one trade and I'm working on finishing that up.

Other than those problems I'm looking forward to next week when my friend Caitlin comes, then next month when and come, then of course FWA is in March. My grandfather passed on Christmas and I was un able to make his funeral but since he was a world war 2 veteran they will be holding a military style memorial for him in the spring (looking like May) that I will be attending, there will be a lot of mixed emotions then. I am not sure if I will be making AC or not, I know I am trying to make it out to Arizona in July or August and would love to attend Rainfurrest this year as well. The only con I know for sure I'm going to is MFF, (I don't even technically have the time of for FWA yet (wont miss it for the world though, if there is a will there is a way).

Now that I'm back from MFF I'm realizing how amazing it really was. I have to say that it has been one of the best, if not the best con I have ever been to. I learned so much about friendship, loyalty, how distance really does bring people together, and how much I do contribute to this fandom, I really do mean something! This con was also the first time I've helped run a panel, and the first time participating in the art show. Remarkably I brought home an award, I got the Chairman's choice award for best piece, this caused a huge epiphany for me and I can assure you that from now on my art will be taking a huge step, I won't be accepting commissions or requests for pieces that I don't think I could make look good either.

So as some of you know I recently got a full time job as a waitress at a hotel, this job has been consuming a lot of my time but it's good because I'm finally making some decent money. I love my co workers and the job so far is pretty entertaining and for the most part fun. I'm falling into it pretty quickly and I've already noticed myself staying past my clock out time on numerous occasions to finish up my tables and the tasks I need to complete before I leave (8 hours goes by like 5 minutes there). This has been putting a damper on art I owe but I assure you I am working on commissions in the time I do have (I have leons1's finished but haven't been able to upload it cause of FA's read only mode). I've also been working my tail off on art for the MFF art show, I've got some awesome pieces that I'm hoping will be hits :). I hope you all understand the situation on my tardiness but it is a good thing (in a way)!
