Myth Challenge - Ten slots $20 each

FWA Recap, Etsy Store, General stuffs

After a hell of a lotta car issues Thursday, we finally hit the road by the good grace of my personal hero for the weekend Yopen
Didn't get to the con til hella late, but it was ok, met up with Rain 
and stayed up talking til the wee hours, punctuated by my goofy friends visiting, and screaming at some assholes in the hallway that were running around being fools at 2:30 in the morning ._. If you were one of said assholes on floor 17 Thursday night, I hate you.
Elevator Con 2013 turned out better than I hoped overall, third time's a charm since my previous two experiences with FWA left much to be desired x_X Friday I camped the AA and ended up across from Firefeathers
and had a bit of a 8B moment when I went to toss one of my jars of lotion at her and ended up hurling it instead D: but she caught it like a damn BOSS, my awe of her in that moment was multiplied by like, 50. The soaps and lotions I debuted at FWA were a smash! Sold out of all my coffee soap the very first day :D And later heard a couple of stories about the usage of it, for example, one person went through a whole bar in one night. I'm pleased it was such a hit lol, the soap samples I had were well received though I had to stop a few people from assuming they were edible.
Saturday I wound up camped next to Taurinfox
who was far nicer than I had ever imagined and so humble, he's a darn good human being. Tried seeingg hibbary's pannel, but got called out in the middle of it to meet the delivery man and acquire lunch @_@ Top Spice I miss you <3
Sunday I got slammed, lotsa badges and happy happy sales, gave out many cards with my 20% discount card for Etsy on them, so hopefully I'll be seeing those come back. Also had a hall of an awkward time toward the end of Sunday, to the person involved, I am so sorry, just glad I could make it up to you a little bit with free lamination sheets and laminator borrowing x_X
I'm working on getting my Etsy store up and running and filled with more stuff, hoping to get a day soon that is NOT rainy so I can get some decent pictures to post up there! Also making more coffee soap and working on getting a loaf soap mold so I can get bigger slices instead of the 2oz slices I've got at the moment.

Other general updates, I needed that con, I'm feeling so much better about things now, myself, my art, and I got reminded about how good I used to be with colored pencils once upon a time, so expect to see more along those lines from me in the near future and more of my backlog getting shortened.

I'm doing a couple of badges for pickup at FWA, the theme is still in love, so cupid or huggly snuggly themed is a definite! $15 each or two for $25

Ultra moisturizing whipped body butters, sugar, oatmeal or coffee scrub soaps, and lotion bars will be available in a nice assortment of scents, I've got something smelly for everybody! Con Season 2013 and Other updates
Posted 13 years agoSorry for the disappearance, it's been craptastic around here and I haven't felt like rearing my ugly head and inflicting myself upon you. Doing a bit better now, things are balancing out, not quite so hectic but still precarious.
Life sucks, no if's, and's or but's about it, I'm just trying to keep my head up and continue trudging. I'm still working on commissions, trying to get them done and take on some more so I can fund Christmas and make my life better in the long run.
Commission status, every time I look at the owed commissions, I kinda die a little inside, I'm approaching them again slowly and trying to make dents here and there as well as moving forward for new and exciting things like....
Soap. Lip balms. Deodorant. Lotion bars. Sugar cube scrubs. Solid perfumes. Organic, home made, preservative free, all natural. The while shebang. Plotting out a few Furry specific scents to take to cons with me next year and a line of unisex deodorant and soap called HOBO Repellant. (H.orrid O.taku B.ody O.dor) for the hygiene challenged con goers of the scifi/animu cons.
I'm still perfecting the ideas behind the scents and getting the Essential oils to blend them and see how they work together. But so far it's going well, I've made a blend that smells like horses <3
Conwise this year I'm doing/planning:
Ichibancon- Jan 11th-13th Charlotte NC (Applied)
Momocon- March 8th-10th Atlanta GA (Probably not, but I am thinking about it)
Furry Weekend Atlanta- March 15-18th Atlanta GA (Going come hell of high water)
Furry Connection North- April 12th-14th Detroit Michigan (Gonna go with Sora and Tae and be there for the debut of the Sora fursuit that I helped design :D)
Eliott's Spring Gathering- May TBD Orlando FL (Planning for it)
Megaplex- July 26-28 Kissimee FL (Planning for it)
I think there's a couple more that I'm considering, so the list may get expanded upon later.
I think that's everything I wanted to get out, worst comes to worst I can make another journal. Feel free to hit me with questions/etc, I've missed being active on here u_u

I'm so deeply sorry to everyone if I was snappy at any point during the con. It's actually a small wonder that I didn't snap and start killing people on Sunday x_x
Thusday- Drove over with Hossface, Peacey 
and Blau 
, got there, pinched a nerve in my neck (FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU very much neck >_<) registered and met up with my Xassy, his super quiet emo kid Kenny, and the totally awesome 
. New BFF? I do believe so! Also found a 
in the line for registration, she promptly squealed and jumped on me lol. After that, mosey'd over to the Hard Rock for dinner with Buttface, Bruin 
, Ed 
, Xassy , Bons , that quiet Kenny kid thing, a Rook 
, and a Kit 
who is also awesome and worthy of being in my posse. Awesome food was awesome, giggles were had and then back to the con where I camped the AA for a couple hours and made someone a badge ^_^
Friday- Didn't get much sleep, finally fell asleep around 2:30, then that dork I live with needed a place to sleep and woke me up cause his key card didn't work. After he passed out on the other bed, I Could Not fall back asleep. He'd snore, or a car alarm would go off or a bus would drive by... >___________< Then my neighbor texted me about 7am... dog got out... great -_- She was in a panic and worrying, poor thing. Consoled her, checked with my other neighbor who caught said stupid dog and gave up on any and all attempts to sleep. Made my way back to the con and met
who is awesome and commissioned a sexy pinup pic from me ^_^ Got to hang out with Bruin and Rook a bit at the table, and a Sable stopped by periodically to shower me with hugs and nose pokes XD Later that evening went out to Ru San's (BEST SUSHI PLACE EVAAAAAAR) with Bons, Xassy, some guy and Hossbutt. Epic mealtimes and a sake bomb were had before I had to head back to SC to be able to get to work the next day x_x
Saturday- Worked. Almost flipped a table at a rabid bitchface who wouldn't give me two fucking seconds to try to fix things for her. But had a really good laugh with the store manager at her expense later. After work, drove back to FWA in record time (2.5 hours!) where I was met with epic stress, a depression crash and a lack of sleeping arrangements because out of sight Leafy = SOL Leafy. Camped the AA til 3, then went on a failsome run to attempt to find food and re-park the car. Gave up on food at about 4 and parked the car, then returned to the con and camped the hallway til about 6:30, wherein I gave up because I was tired of freezing, hungry, cranky as all hell and so damn tired. Ended up sleeping in the car -_- F.M.L
Sunday- Got up two hours later, took a deep breath and dealt with it like a boss. Went down, freshened up, got a table and set up shop. Ended up sitting next to and meeting
who is such a sweetheart! And local too! Expect to see art jams from us later :3 Got in a couple more commissions (expect to see those popping up very soon) and later bid adieu to my Xassy and Bons and quiet kid thing T_T Miss you Xassy!!! Then headed out myself and stopped for very late lunch (hello not eating for 30 hours because of circumstance, ps I hate you circumstance, diaf pls k thx) at Figo pasta where I popped a unisom and painkillers and promptly passed back out in the car again. Ride home was uneventful, unisom is awesome, it's how I survive some days. Got home, hung out with Blau and Peacey for a little longer, then passed the hell out.
Nerve is still pinched, still tired as fuck, running a fever and willing myself to not get any sicker. All in all, broke even, advertised, met awesome people and people I already knew who made my weekend worthwhile, love you guys <3 Thanks for keeping me sane, otherwise I *might* be in jail right now :p
Sidenotes: Don't plan a date with someone, stand them up and still think everything's sunshine and butterflies. It's not.
I have blisters from dragging my suitcase all weekend.

It means a lot to me to have been noticed and appreciated by all of you.

Art, Writing and Sculpture Close on March 31st. Prizes will be judged by myself and my roommates and announced shortly after!
You CAN participate in any and all of the contests.
Multiple entries are allowed for the Art, Sculpture and Writing Contests.
No hotlinking. Upload pictures to your own file server, photobucket or FA in scraps.
No Whining. If someone wins, end of story, they've (knowing me) worked hard for what they won.

I reserve the right to ask people not to participate if they overstep boundaries of myself or other participants. You will be warned initially, and then if the unwanted behavior persists, penalized.
