Hello all! Wow, it’s been so long since I updated! Been going through some things!

First off, I got a new job a few months after getting layed off my old one. It pays better, puts less strain on my body, and I can see myself advancing up at it!

Been going on a journey of self-discovery, with the help of my girlfriend  Fyrefly

It’s been difficult for us both, but we’ve been making it work! She’s a wonderful person, and a great artist! Check her stuff! DO EET!

I figured I should give an update on myself.

Yesterday, I lost my job of over three years. The location was closed down, so I got laid off.

Oddly enough? I'm not upset about losing the job. I'll miss the people, sure, but it was about time for me to move on.

So while I would have liked advance notice, I was still smart enough to save some money in case something like this happened. Should last a little while. I made sure to ask all the managers for letters of recommendation before I left, and a way to send them to me.

I plan to relax today, then start some searching for a job during the week. I feel I have a good chance to getting hired.

Why am I even mentioning this? In a way, it's to encourage others. Bad things happen, yeah. But they can be opportunities, too. I've been meaning to change things about my life, and this may be the push I needed to start with some of that.

I suppose that's enough blabbing for now. Remember to smile, everyone!

Just wanted to push the previous journal off the page, since my birthday has come and gone for the year. I hope to have something more interesting to say next time.

I have a birthday coming up soon. To be honest, I'm not exactly sure why I'm mentioning this.

Anywho, here's hoping my next year of life is more fruitful in certain endeavors.

Though it is very unlikely to occur, I thought I should mention this.

If you wish to use my characters for something without my bidding for fan works (fan-fiction, fan-art, role-playing, etc.), you may do so. In a way, I would be hypocritical if I said you cannot use my characters in fanworks.

Please note that I said fanworks. Keep that in mind.

A few other things that should be mentioned. ALL of these concern fan works, unless stated otherwise:

---There are subjects and kinks I do not like, but I won't demand that you not use them. Like I said, it would be hypocritical if I objected.

---Give credit where credit is due. Much of the art of my characters was done by someone else, along with a few stories. Please show the artists respect by not claiming their work as your own, including my characters.

---I would like to see any fan works done using my characters. Just warn me about content before I look.

---My preference (meaning it is optional) for fan art is that it is not asked for nor forced upon. My goal is to have my characters be so beloved that any fan works are done out of genuine interest. For me to ask or hint at such a thing spoils and sullies the reward. I'm aware that mentioning this may invoke it, but eh, so what? I figured it is better to say it than not to.

That should be all the "rules," though more may be added later if needed.

If there are questions you have about all this, ask. If there are comments you want to make, do so if desired. Otherwise, this should hopefully be enough talk on the matter.

Okay, so my last journal didn't work out, funnily enough. That's okay though, since funny was the point, and irony is humor.

Sometime next month will be my birthday. As it comes closer, I feel more reflective.

I'm still employed at my job, which I like, but I will likely have to leave it someday. I'll do what I can there, while I still can.

Work on stories has slowed because of my job hours, though I still plan to write.

I now have a car. It does have a few issues, and I'll still paying it off, but it works!

Still single, but hopeful. Well, I do get doubtful at times, but I'm still hopeful.

Getting too old to expect presents for my birthday. Now, I may get some, but not many. Perhaps eventually, I'll get nothing, though this isn't guaranteed. Either way, I see it as part of growing up.

Tl:dr I'm getting OOOOOOLLLLLDDDD!

I should point out that if you make a joke, be aware that people, myself included, may wish to discuss it. Political jokes aimed at a particular party, for instance, or about a particular person. A few updates about my status seem to be in order.

First off, I have been the owner of a 3DS for a few months now. So far, I own Soul Hackers, Kid Icarus: Uprising, and Mario Kart 7. That's not including my DS games.

Secondly, I now have a new computer! Been working on understanding how it operates, but I think I have the hang of it. I'll still use my phone for Internet primarily, most likely, since it's more available.

I have downloaded and been playing Team Fortress 2. I still need practice with most classes, but my best one as of this writing? Demoman.

When I used to play Unreal Tournament 2004, my preferred weapon was not the rocket launcher; it was the flak cannon. The ricochets of the main fire and the arcing of the secondary mode of fire offered more tactical opportunities than straight-firing rockets. Demoman is basically a repeat of those days, but with extra jumping power.

I still need practice on a few things (sticky jumps and close combat), but I've managed so far.

I do not have a headset, sadly, so communication will likely not happen in game.

Third update: I've been working a lot more often, so I might not be available during certain hours of the day. It can be hectic at times, but I like it. I've actually been entering the lottery so I won't have to quit.

Time for an update on things, I suppose. I should have done this sooner.

Anywho, the updates:

1. Computer has been down for awhile now. I've been using my phone to keep online and to post in my gallery.

2. It seems I do better writing shorter stories. This does not mean I won't write longer stuff in the future, just that I seem to have difficulty with it.

3. I did start two trades, and I intend to finish them. Sorry for the delays.

4. I probably won't take on more trades for now, unless I can write short tales. I have a better chance of getting them done. Even so, I'm hesitant to take on more work now.

5. Admittedly, I'm feeling kind of "blah" now. It's not too bad, but it is a hindrance to me.

6. Thanks to advice from a friend, I'm trying to loosen up my standards for making requests. I was always too specific, and rarely gave artists enough freedom. I hope to give more control over to artists so that they can shine. The reason I mention this here? Because it also applies somewhat to usage of my characters. I'm trying to be less picky about the situations they are in. I can't control what other artists will do with them, can I?

I feel there was something else to mention, but I'm not sure what it was now (or if it was something to say publicly). This should suffice for the time being. If I remember, I'll update this.

Now then, I recently won $60 dollars in a raffle held by enigmadragan. The original purpose was to buy Guild Wars 2, but my computer wouldn't be able to handle it.

So, I suggested something else: I have him pay someone on my behalf for art.

The problem is finding someone who is currently open to commissions, has the style I'm looking for, AND...something else (I forgot what the third thing was.)))

So, any ideas about who to go to would be appreciated. To make things easier, I hope to go to just one person.

Hello all.

I've decided to forgo waiting for a picture, and start on the (Kinky) Kaiju City Protectors story. While I did really want an image, it's time I just start on the story. It's going to have giant monsters, some political intrigue, and a few other things.

Also, I may write other stories without waiting for pictures. The only exception is the final part of Project Muse, which needs a picture still.

I'm not sure which tale will get posted first, since I also have a one-shot story planned that is darker than my other work.

Anywho, I'm off to write!
