An update from the Hoss? Say it isn't so!

I hope this journal finds ya well in these crazy times, and that hands, paws, claws, hooves, and all are being scrubbed often!
Now that's out of the way, I want to take a sec to update y'all on the going's on and happenings round here!
As many of ya might know, I am really -really- bad at updating things here on this site. The best way to keep up with me is on my twitter page, which ya can find here!

Also, the main reason why I wanted to post this journal is to announce that I am now a Twitch Affiliate! This has been an absolutely crazy adventure, but with the support of friends I have been able to take a fun new step to a hobby/career if it works out? XD I stream in Fursuit every Friday, so today would be an awesome day to come hang out!!
If you would like to hang out in stream, I am live almost every day from 7pm on!
We also have a Discord server for my Patreon supporters and Twitch Subscribers, so if that's something you are interested in, come visit the stream tonight for more info!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Posted 8 years agoJust a quick little shout out to all my furriends, all around the world. No matter if you celebrate the holiday, I'm thankful for each and every one of you being there. Go stuff yourselves!!!~
To any servicemen, new, or veteran's, thank you for fighting for what we sometimes take for granted here. You keep us safe at your own sacrifice of not being home for the holidays, so we can be.
And to my friends working retail today and tomorrow, as a previous retail manager at a big box store, I salute you. Thanks to the greed of our country, you have to work to give people discounts on products they don't need, are outdated, and they will treat you like shit for running out. It's been a long time coming
Posted 8 years agoAlright guys, I figure it's about time I tell y'all a bit of truth that has been causing issues with a lot of people. I really didn't think its that big of a deal, but it sure as hell is proving to be.
Firstly guys, I am a MALE irl. Have been, always will be. What a shocker to y'all, right?
What might end up being a shocker to you though, is my original sona was
rykken
And as playing this sona, I did lie to a lot of people about my gender, and for that I am sorry. I wrapped myself up in a lie that I felt the only way out was to try to wipe the slate clean and start a new character. However, there are just way too many good people I am friends with as Rykken, that I didn't want to give up. I tried to blend and keep it separated, which is obviously impossible.
I told a few furs right away, some were clever enough that they figured it out way before I had the guts to tell them.
Others, took it to heart, and were hurt.
To all, whether you were hurt or not, I am sorry. I truly didn't mean it to end up in any sour light. But this has been eating me up inside and I had to come clean.
Again, I am sorry to those I lied to for all those years. And if you are willing, let's get to know eachother all over again, but the truth this time.

Posted 8 years agoMerry Christmas Y'all! I hope you had a wonderful holiday with family and friends, and were able to have a happy time with your loved ones. Always remember that loved ones long gone are still there to celebrate the holiday with you. Just give extra thanks and love to those who really have helped you out this year. I know I have one special someone who I couldn't have gotten this far without him. He's always there to talk with me just about every day, as he has for years. Lets me moan and groan about this and that, but making sure I keep a sensible head and don't get too upset at things that I really shouldn't. I can always count on him to be there no matter the circumstance. His friendship to me is the greatest gift that I could ask for this holiday season, and I don't know how I can ever make it up to him.
So this holiday season, along with the gifts you may receive from family and friends, make sure you remember in your heart to be thankful for those who give all they can, no matter what. I know I am.
Anyway, enough sappiness. Hope y'all have a great holiday.

What's been up with the Hoss??
Posted 9 years agoAs y'all might have noticed, it's been real quiet round here. But life and things have definitely thrown me some nasty curveballs lately. On top of a very important family member passing, getting laid off from my job, bothered by a nagging ex, I seem to have managed to dislocate my jaw. No solid food for the Hoss for 3 to 6 weeks x..x I was going to be auditioning for a musical, but now I don't think I can
So that's kind of lame...
On the up side, I have a job interview on Wednesday, hope they don't mind me mumbling because of the injury x..x
There also will be some commissions coming up to be posted, whenever my turn comes up to be drawn haha
Have y'all ever noticed that even if you are first in the list and paid first, you get skipped for commissions? Or is that just my luck?

earlybird is an absolutely AMAZING artist that I've commissioned a couple times, and she's going through some rough stuff with vet bills and other things. She's got tons of YCH options, is always open for comnissions, and has an amazing pricing set/turnaround time.
Go get pics from her!!! Or at least donate to her Patreon!

Posted 9 years agoWhen you try to get a commission from someone, but there is always the same goddamn fur who has to hoard every piece of art out there. Seriously. Let some other people get pieces too!!! It really isn't fair to people who are just getting started. Sorry for the mini rant, just real annoying xD

Posted 9 years ago....for more fat horses!!! That's right!!! Thanks to a very generous gift from a friend, and a recent commission, I will be putting up a few more pieces of art very shortly! Stay tuned for a storm of fat!
