- Improved submission fullscreen view: you can now use a single tap to display a submission zoomed in and in fullscreen. Then tap one more time to change again the zoom level.
- The Notifications tab now displays a badge when you have notifications. By default, all supported types of notifications are taken into account, except journal notifications. You can change this behavior in the Settings tab.
- Scrolling through a user's gallery, scraps or favorites now automatically loads the next page when needed. This effectively makes scrolling infinite as long as more content is available.
- User's gallery, scraps and favorites now have a search field at the top. Combined with infinite loading, this effectively allows searching through a full gallery, scraps or favorites of any user. Search is case insensitive and done on the submissions title and author.

📦 Miscellaneous

- Submissions and journals where comments have been disabled is now reflected in the app: the comment icon has a different color and tapping it will inform that posting a comment is not possible.

In 2023, the Digital Market Act in the European Union passed, allowing people to install apps on their iPhone from other sources than Apple's App Store. This is now becoming reality with the Fur Affinity app available in AltStore PAL, one of the first alternative App Stores available.

This means that the app can be installed much more easily, without sideloading! For now only people living in the European Union can benefit from it, but other countries are planning similar laws, so there's hope for more freedom on iPhone in other countries in the future.

Check furaffinity.app to know how to install the app through AltStore PAL!
If you live outside of the EU, you're left with sideloading only, which also works but is trickier. You can also check the website for how to install.
