Hey guys, this was not an easy decision to make, but we’re planning to take offers on/potentially auction the costume and character Lyudmylah. We're in some pretty unfortunate circumstances right now. More info in the thread below.
Long story short, we’ve had a terrible summer. We’ve just experienced the loss of a mother, grandmother, and were just given the news that our house is being sold this week. TLDR below, but more in depth information in this google doc.
The fullsuit is almost new and is some of our best work. She has only been worn twice and has been washed and well cared for. She has 56 pieces of digital art, 30 pieces of physical art (including badges and figures), and 25 pins. There are photos of everything in the doc.
She's valued at $9k based on the costume and significantly reduced value of the art (excluding gift art.) We know the suit may not fit everyone, so there is information in the doc about higher offers being put toward a new suit (either a new Lyu or another character).
This year really has been one hit after another, so any boosts or help is very much appreciated.

Applications Closing Early
Posted 3 years agoHey, folks. We're making the decision to close our application form early. There's a family health emergency we've been dealing with behind the scenes that has started to escalate, so we're closing our form and choosing from the applicants who have already submitted.
This is not a decision we make lightly, but right now we need as much time to deal with our situation as possible. We're reaching out to applicants at this time and they should receive emails shortly.
We're very sorry to folks who have been waiting to apply, but we do plan to open again in April or May, so if you have not gotten in this round we highly encourage you to apply again next opening.
Having such a short opening window is not something we expect to become the norm, so future openings will continue to be 3 days. This is a very unusual situation for us to be in, and we really appreciate everyone's understanding while we figure out how to navigate through it.

What would be necessary for you to be sold on it? (Polls below, comments/discussion rly appreciated!) 2. Would you need to try it on before buying or are measurements/pics enough, as on DD? What abt sanitary/privacy issues that come with trying something on? (Multiple ppl may have tried it on, no private area where you could try it on in a sales booth, would you have your own undersuit)

-No, for sanitary reasons
-No, for privacy reasons
3. Would you be alright with a "booth babe" scenario? (An employee, not the buyer, wearing the suit for a few hours for advertisement purposes at the booth)

Posted 5 years agoUPDATE: Holy MOLY! We have had an overwhelming response to our surprise opening, thank you guys! We're going to close the form because we have more than enough applicants to sort through to fill the slot.
WE WILL STILL BE OPENING IN JANUARY! This is not your last chance to apply and if you applied this round and are not accepted, we encourage you to apply again for our Q2 slots! We aren't able to take a large volume of commissions for this opening since we're just replacing the one dropped slot.

🌟Surprise commission opening! 🌟 One of our upcoming slots was dropped and we're looking to fill the space! This application would be for our Q1 batch of 2021. This is a rare opportunity to have a costume finished much faster with no rush fee! Applications will be open until 11/28 5PM PT.

If you've gotten a quote recently, go ahead and apply! If it's been a few months since you've gotten a quote, we'd recommend submitting a requote first to be extra sure of what your project will cost. All applications will include a quote.
