Then I fell out of the boat and STILL had an amazing time!
Got a wicked sunburn though. Also my body hurts which they said we would feel sore lmao

When buying upholstery foam, what density do you go for? I'm looking to start making my own suit (again) and I want to get proper foam!
Is medium density best for heads and digigrade padding?
What, in your opinions, works best density wise?
Are there any tutorials that you think are better than others?
What do you recommend for buying fur?

Once I got my SP4 I started using CSP because SAI didn't work. Honestly I think it's much better and I feel like as an artist I can go farther with it.
I encourage all artists to at least TRY it and play with it! This doesn't mean I hate SAI, I still love it, but I feel like I have much more potential with CSP.
There's NOTHING WRONG with using SAI, a lot of wonderful artists produce INCREDIBLE work with SAI. I see artists produce some of the cutest stuff with MS freaking PAINT. But please don't discount other programs and sell yourself short of potential. TRY new things! Conquer MORE in life! Become MORE of an artist with knowledge in as much as you can get your hands on!
Don't #SAI4LIFE without learning more and becoming a well rounded artist. You can love and use SAI as much as you like but don't settle with one program
As for CSP: I love it. I think it's amazing! I personally think like it looks and works like a love child of Photoshop and SAI, it works smoothly, there are IMMEASURABLE AMOUNTS of brushes. Although I'm having trouble figuring out the animation part so I just haven't used it lol
It makes SAI look so simple to me now! THAT SAID! CSP is on sale!! If you're unsure about buying it I encourage the trial!!!

I definitely am <3 I'm thankful that ANYONE likes my art, really. I appreciate all the faves, all the comments, everything. Even if I don't answer I really do appreciate it.
Thank you everyone for supporting me through good times and bad times. I've struggled a lot with depression these last two years, hence the account jumping, the vent art, the procrastination.
But I feel like I'm moving into a good place in my life and I'm feeling good about myself.
I'm not hating the way I look in the mirror but I see progress. For me that's a huge step.
I almost started self harming again but I remembered why I got my "Salty Dog" tattoo. Why I got it where I did; and I stopped myself.
I wanted so badly for months to stop drawing. I thought that I wasn't going anywhere. But I didn't stop. I won't stop.
I'm proud of where I'm going, I have my own "art senpai"(s) that keep me inspired with every piece they make.
I also have you all to thank. All the faves, all the "great job" comments, they keep me going.

Posted 8 years agoWithout going into too much detail I've been dealing with some depression lately. It hasn't been consistent, but there have been bad days, worse days, a good day here and there. But I've pushed through it to get artwork done, to start ideas I've put off, etc.
Most of it has stemmed from my job. You know, over worked and underpaid, etc. a friend screwing up his life, me waiting to hear about a better job opportunity.
Being on night shifts have made me even more exhausted than being on day shift but I have no babysitter so I have no choice.
GOOD NEWS IS:
Today my boyfriend passed his driving test! He's a licensed driver! So that means I can catch up on some sleep in the mornings (unless James wakes up early)
I don't have much news other than that and I'm trying my best <3

I've already got it sketched out and I'm going to do my best to match the speed with the swishing in the song itself~
I'll be working on this more in spare time after these last two commissions then I will be opening a few commissions for this icon!

So the basic gist here is we are not as close to rent as we thought. My mom still helps us out but I am actively searching for another job so we can avoid that altogether.
As of right now my boss is throwing a bitch fit over my change in availability and he's cutting my hours, so I'm taking on some discounted commissions!

So it looks like I've been taking a hiatus? I didn't mean to disappear again.
As of right now I have no access to SAI or like half my files because my HDMI port isn't working on my PC and my screen is smashed still.
I'm borrowing bf's spare PC until I can buy a VGA cord that will fit on my laptop. I should be able to get it friday, and I have a screen I'm using instead of a TV. I can't wait to get my laptop fixed tbh.
I'm going to sketch a few things on regular paper while I wait because I want to draw with the tiny amount of inspiration I have.
I've been moved to night shift at work so hopefully I'll have more time to draw, who knows.
Anyway gotta get ready for work

I want to thank all these new watchers for the watches omigosh ;u; dunno if you found me by browsing, other's posting, or my posts on facebook in groups; but thank you nonetheless!

I'm hoping to expand a little more and this week while I have time I'm going to be making things for my redbubble store! I finally have it set up! :D Although I'm not going to give out links until I have things posted!

All that said and done I have ONE piece of art I need to work on and I want to apologize to my raffle winner for it taking so long!! I can tell you all the excuses about work getting in the way and taking care of my son/cleaning/etc but it doesn't excuse my lateness. In all honesty I just felt burned out. I needed a break from drawing. But my speed draws and recent commissions brought back some inspiration! So that will be finished this week as well!
THIS WEEKEND! I will be offline for a good chunk. It's my son's FIRST birthday on Friday and I'm planning a party! So I'll be out getting cakes, decorations, invites, etc! Made his theme Zootopia since it's his absolute favorite thing next to Robin Hood lol (RIP there's another furry in my family LMAO)
Whew! That's a long read! Sorry about all that!
