- 1 bust shot with favorite seasonal themed drink
- 1 chibi "floating" in favored seasonal themed drink of choice

- 1 two character seasonal themed image. May be couple cuddling, friends walking in park, etc.

Alright so to start off I'm sure that you all have noticed the beta update on pages! I'm kindof liking it so far!
it has kind of a deviant art vibe to it as well which is kind of nice. I'm hoping that if that's implemented maybe they will implement the interface that allows people to move things up or down on their page like on deviantart :0 that would be interesting. But we are better than them! REEEEEEEE WE MUST BE DIFFERENT!
Regardless I'm enjoying the new update and can't wait to see what they have planned banner wise. I'd like to be able to put my own page banner up like on weasyl tbh. I love the way it looks along with the site banner.

I have updated my front page! I no longer have it posted at the top if I'm taking commissions or trades etc. Instead that info can be found under my profile ID with all my other info c:
I just didn't want to have too much on my page anymore so I took some things out and moved other stuff around. Nothing too big tbh.

Posted 8 years agoHaven't been drawing or online because I've been working until a couple days ago. LITERALLY EVERYONE WAS SICK AND COULDN'T WATCH MY SON
So naturally I was like "fuck I'm going to have to stay home." So I called out and they were mad at me and I'm like what you want someone with the flu to watch my son and give it to him so I call out even more BECAUSE THEN HE WILL BE SICK????
Then YESTERDAY I wound up getting the fucking flu and literally could barely lift a water bottle. I almost passed out from standing in the shower for less than 20 minutes and they were expecting me to be okay with standing 8 hours AT A FOOD SERVICE JOB WHEN I'M VOMITING LITERALLY EVERY HOUR????
I stg I hate food service so much.
I called last night to explain the situation to my store manager and he said "well you left us in a tight spot and I'm trying to run a business here" not even taking into consideration you don't fucking want this in your restaurant you fuck.
So then they tried to guilt trip me about calling out when I could barely move....
That brings us to today. Being spiteful I was going to go to work and make everyone sick because fuck you and your guilt trip.
Today I'm feeling better (still in pain and exhausted but not throwing up) and they said I don't work today or tomorrow (my scheduled days off) so it's like, why tf couldn't someone tell me that yesterday? They said "we're too busy to tell you" but all you have to do is pick up a piece of paper RIGHT BEHIND WHERE I KNEW THEY WERE STANDING to tell me my days.
Needless to say I'm going to be applying to other jobs to see if I can find LITERALLY anything that isn't food service, especially fast food.
Fuck.

We also haven't been sleeping well because my son has been teething with his top teeth coming in.
I'm going to try and be on more this week but with my entire body literally hurting any time I move or breathe I might just lay here

Posted 8 years agoOkay so I got 3 hours of sleep last night because I had to take my son to the hospital.
Turns out they said what happened is normal (nursemaids elbow) and showed me how to fix it next time rather than go to the ER at 3 AM lol
I'm going to keep working on my hair today and I'll post before during and after pics later :D (oh wait that's a lie I forgot before pics....just keep in mind I had very dark brown hair and needed two days to lighten it to the shade I wanted to dye properly.)
I kind of feel like death today so sorry in advance for no replies lol I won't have my FA tab open today and I'm probably calling out of work.
Coffee first though.

I'm so sorry on the two people waiting on art. Honestly I've been having a very rough few weeks.
Without going into too much detail I'm trying to take what little time for myself that I can to try and recharge.
I've been picking up as many hours as allowed at work as well so now my entire body is sore and tired.
OH and my birthday was the other day :u so that was fun.
it was pretty nice with just my family.
I only have two days off this week, today and Saturday. I'm going to have my bf watch James so I can try and get some art done. I don't mean to take so long, I'm just going through a lot mentally right now and need some time. I hope that people understand <3
Also today I'm going to start dying my hair :0 should be fun! It's going to be something I haven't done before! I'll post pics when it's done <3

Hi everyone! Looks like I've been taking a pretty unintended hiatus from art.
I recently started a new job and that + re-straightening after our move has consumed my life.
My "work" schedule will be changing and I will no longer be available at the times listed on my front page. Furthermore I am closing commissions for now because even just the thought of taking them on while this busy stresses me out.
I will still finish the two things I owe, which is one raffle prize and one trade...then I will be working on personal work from here on out c:

HOLY BALLS
I'm back y'all! My trips went smoothly, I started my job, we are ALMOST done moving and now our internet is up and running again (finally)
Our internet was out for a few days because as it turns out the provider grid we are on if not the provider I chose! So they had to bypass the splitter to get us set up.
I haven't touched my tablet OR my computer in almost two weeks, only been on facebook through mobile.
We are ALMOST done with unpacking. our move will be officially over by the end of this week once we shampoo the rug in our old place. Then it's just worrying about unpacking our stuff and getting set.
James has been having trouble since he spent almost his first whole year in our room and now he's by himself, so needless to say we are exhausted from staying up with him. And also I'm exhausted from work. Today is my first day off since I started so I'm going to work on relaxing and finishing this ONE LAST COMMISSION >:v

I have my trip this weekend so I will once again be away from my computer, this time until monday.

I will be doing some personal doodles and stuff to refresh myself. I'm very sorry for any delay you guys <3 I think it's the holidays and the fast approaching trip I'm taking.....
It's not a trip I want to take. And I should probs mention it to y'all.
I will be leaving the 30th, coming back the morning of the 1st, then leaving again the 5th and coming back on the 9th.
I will have NO ACCESS to any electronics those days and will not be able to work. There are no acceptions.

I've been recapping it in my mind and I think that's why I can't focus.
I hope 2017 is better.

so i have a habit of setting my tablet pen in the crease between the laptop screen and the base/keyboard and last night my computer slammed shut and now I have a crack in my screen :D
The computer itself is fine but I can't use the screen so I dusted off my t.v. to use as a screen until I can get it fixed.
Google tells me it'll be $80 :u
I'm really hoping to start work soon so I can have /some/ sort of income so I can get this fixed.
From the sounds of it I will be doing overnight stocking which is honestly not going to last long for me if I can get another interview lined up and another job.
Simply because Josh works 8-5 and I would be working at midnight and would almost never get to see my son or get much sleep.
I have a voicemail for an interview but sometimes the way they talk I can't understand what business it's for. CURSE MY BAD HEARING >:0

Posted 9 years agoOkay so the other day I found out a cousin of mine was in the hospital...yesterday we were told she was put on oxygen and has IVs coming out of everywhere for fluids and she's also malnourished.
Today my mom told me she is taking a turn for the worse so tomorrow I have to be on call and at the ready to go to my grandmother's house if something happens.
This cousin of mine, to give a bit of backstory, is in her 70's (? I think) and she has looked up to my GMa as her big sister her whole life. And my Gma has known her since she was born and treated her the same.
She has had a lot of mental issues her whole adult life and 3/5 of her children are flat out refusing to see her in the hospital. As is my gma but that's more than likely because A) she's 91 and that's a big trip to go an hour away, or B) she doesn't want to see her in that state and would rather remember a healthier her. (as healthy as she could pass for anyway)
This is in no way me being mean or demeaning her in any way but to be entirely frank she let her mind escape her and she didn't take care of herself well.
All that said she is still family and we still value her.
I'm hoping she turns this around. I and the people around me have lost too much in the way of close friends and family this year.
All that said:
If something does happen I will be away from my computer for a majority of the day tomorrow and will /try/ to bring it with me to do work offline.
My sister is also on call to go to my gma's house so she'll be able to help watch James if I need to work.

All that said she is still family and we still value her.
I'm hoping she turns this around. I and the people around me have lost too much in the way of close friends and family this year.
All that said:
If something does happen I will be away from my computer for a majority of the day tomorrow and will /try/ to bring it with me to do work offline.
My sister is also on call to go to my gma's house so she'll be able to help watch James if I need to work.

I just got a job and I start next week! However they said hours can vary so I will still have /some/ free time. Commissions will be pretty slow but I will still be working on them!
I've been proud of how quickly I've moved through the list so far tbh and I really am thankful of all the patience as always <3 You all are amazing
