So... I've been working on giving a tribal variation to some older art, just to get the feeling of having it be finished. While working on trying new shape work, I've stumbled on another way to stylize my art! To put it simply: Stained Glass! I'll put up a WIP of it tomorrow, along with some other stuff.

I know posts have kinda gone quite the last few days, but work and holidays are to blame for this. There is more to come, for sure!! Stay tuned~

I'm back in the saddle and catching up (slowly) with submissions! I'll be limiting them to 4 at a time, as to not spam any current watchers.

Man, has it really been that long? Needless to say, a lot has gone on since then. Moved a couple times... Got divorced.. found new love across the big puddle to the east.

Alright. I think it's high time to actually get off my ass and start doing what I love doing, again! But first, some remodeling. Keep an eye out for art. there's a bit of a back log that I'll trickle in.

I'm still struggling with balancing my time with work and everything else, which is taking a hit on my art activity. But don't think I'm dead in the water just yet! I am still getting stuff done with my art. I'm just not getting anymore microbust requests right now. I'm almost finished with my page too!

Now, since I'm not working on smaller pieces, I'm having to do much larger ones in stead. Half pages to be specific... this leads into my little secret~
I have this idea that might get me a few more eyes on my work, which is what I believe I need at this moment. Since I'm not getting much of anywhere on my own, I'm going to need help from individuals who can help me. This is where my time is currently being sunk into. But until I get this first part of my plan done, I'll keep it at this. I'll keep you guys posted if there are any changes to this or if I feel that it is appropriate to say more.

Okay, I'll just get down to business here. I've been away for quite some time... Now the reason being for that is because I'm currently employed and it leaves very little time for much of anything. Literally 2 hours before and after work at minimum (drives the wife nuts)! However, I have been active in my artistic endeavors! There are quite a few new pieces I have completed or started that I wish to share and a new concept to go with them.

As a new year begins, so do new problems. I need your help guys. It's free, easy, and you get cool character art out of it!

What I'll be doing is drawing a character you describe with the information I'll be requesting. It can be anything! You can be as vague or detailed as you want in its description and you can tell me if I got things right.

Alright, this is what I need from you:
What kind of character is it?(is it human, feral, anthropomorphic,...)
What species/race is it?
What's their gender?
Where do they come from?
When do they come from?
How old are they?
What are their favorite clothes if any?
Any special features?(powers, defining body features, ect.)

Thanks to the fuckery that is the stupid people in this world, and to FA for bringing this new found terror, i have removed all my art for fear of plagiarism. Art thieves are out there and are actively stealing art from talented individuals and i am just protecting what's mine.

due to alot of stuff going on, (moving out on my own namely) i haven't been keeping up at all nore been able to scan or post anything lately. i'm hoping things will stable out later on, but i have another move coming soon, so who knows...
i'm sorry for any lack of replies or usual posts. i have accumulated quite a bit of deficit and owe quite a bit of art now ^^; i guess it's something to look forward to if possible.

the only hope i have in all this is that i'll be happy in the end. i'm doing all this out of a leap to kick my ass in gear in life and to someone i am absolutely fanatic about and desperately want to be with.

due to some recent events in my life, my art work will unfortunately be slowing down considerabley untill things clear up again.

i'm still accepting commissions for my sketchbook funds and what ever excess funds i have left over will be going twards improving my media selection for future pieces!

there are some changes though to what i will be drawing and how i accept commissions.
-no more adult art work unless it is personal art.
-quality garintee. i will not accept payment untill the piece is finished and acceptable to the commissioner

i'll be opening myself to all sorts of traditional (and some digital) styles for verious prices. the prices which will be negotiable! this is to be sure to fit anyone's budget. and also, all art will be done within a reasonable timeframe (within a week unless noted otherwise). ^.,^

examples being of what commitions i'll be providing are as follows:

-busts
-icons (nonanimated)
- personal IDs
-full body (backgrounds will be extra depending on how complex they are)
-tattoo designs (prices may very depending on the complexity)
-desktop backgrounds (abstract, scenery, what-have-ya(prices will very))

...the list goes on. basicly what ever you could expect from a pencil, charcoal, colored pencils,... lol.


guidelines:

-NO PRONS!!! tasteful nudity is fine but i refuse to do anything XXX. of course this will cost a bit more if so but not by much ;3 I WILL BE THE JUDGE OF THIS (usually very leanient)
-will do both human, anthro, and/or feral chars. just please have a good discription or reference pic ready ^^
-coloring media is limited to what i have (only colored pencil and some inks) untill i'm able to get a wider veriaty. digital coloring will be offered as an alturnative for those who are interested!
-will only use Paypal as a method of payment.

it's about me starting up payed art commitions to help raise money for my girlfriend's rent bill. if i cant get $385 to her in the next 10 days, she'll be evicted and be struck homeless once more with her 2 cats to care for... i beg for you to please help me figure out ways to help and there is one in particular i need help brainstorming...

what i'm talking about is Payed Art Commitions from your's truely!.. but thing is, i'm not too comfident i can do this. i need input from the following things:


- do you honustly think i'm skilled enough to even do payed commtions.

-how much do you think i should do for my commitions? i will be doing abstract backgrounds, sketches, tatoo disigns, and anything else that would fall in to these catagories.

- how should i go about with a payment plan? (ie. Paypal, mailed checks,...)

- if i send out the origionals, should i have them pay for the postage?

- should i do out of contry commitions?

- and worst of all... should i do adult themed art? *shutters*
