Well things have been a little chaotic (but definitely good!) for me over the last few months. I am happy to report that I am no longer employed as a security guard (YAY!) Earlier this year, I accepted a part time position with the local humane society as an adoption counselor, a job which I have found that I really love! I am delighted to report that back in March, I was able to go full-time which included medical insurance and other benefits =D. Due to the readjustment back to a daytime schedule after a decade and a half, rearranging my life, and getting to see a doctor for a check up after more than two years without, its been a bit nuts for me (in a good way!) I'm hoping to post a couple more chapters of Cait's Story soon, but cannot guarantee exactly when, as well as some more sketches and secondlife photos. I'll try to be more vigilant about updating more often.

I want to wish everyone much luck during the rest of this year, and may you all be as happy as I am!

Up until just recently, life has been quite chaotic for me. The security company I was working for began treating their drivers (such as myself) and the supervisors poorly (to put it kindly). We were being overworked, and of course those on salary (not me, I stuck with hourly) were being vastly underpaid. Now I don't mean 50 hours per week overworked... one of our supervisors put in just under 100 hours in one week! And he being salary didn't get paid overtime. And it wasn't much better for those of us working hourly, the overtime pay was great, but when all you can do on your one day a week off is crash and sleep... so not worth it.

Anyways... good news is that I accepted a job with another security company, one of my friends recommended me to them. So far everything has been excellent. Pay is almost the same, and instead of driving, I'm standing guard on set properties. This has let me have some time off (YAY!) and to work on Cait's Story a bit more. I'm posting the next chapter now, and the following will probably be posted next week. Hope you enjoy them!

Oh... by the way... about the shaman/sandwich maker, Jacoby... I should have explained this before, but his name is pronounced "Jack-oh-bee" not like the name of the old furniture store. *giggles*

Alright, just posted more of Caiit's story... one chapter a bit grim, and one definitely more playful. Hope you like them, but please, let me know what I can improve on! And if you like Cait's story, please tell your friends and family. I started Cait's Story just for the fun of it, and I'm still just looking to have fun, but I like knowing how I can grow and be better, just like Cait. Ok, well thanks for reading and putting up with my blather!

Ok. I Just finished posting the next three parts of Cait's Story. The story is turning out to be quite a bit longer than I had originally expected, but i'm really having fun writing it! Who would have guessed that I would enjoy writing, go figure. Well I don't know how good my writing is, I try not to critique my own work, writing, art or otherwise, as I tend to be my own worst critic. So I'm just having fun. But please, feel free to leave me comments and suggestions! I've always found that accepting criticism has helped me improve (even the "I HATE your SHIT" stuff just makes me more determined to improve and make the hater look more like an idiot by just being more determined and productive.) Ok, well enough about criticism. I do apologize about the formatting I'm using to post the stories so they can be read online. The spacing ect may make it a little hard to read, but please feel free to download the story which is formatted in rich text document format. I will likely go back and edit/adjust paragraphs ect in the future for easier flow and reading, but for now this is how I've been working on the story.

Hey, sorry I haven't been keeping up with my FA page. Life just gets chaotic at times, what with all that goes into trying to get your life in order. Well, I almost have things in some sort of order (*snickers* I wont say under control, 'cause its not like THAT will ever happen) I am posting a few photos of some of my avatar forms from Secondlife, and I hope to post more soon. As for my drawing, that has taken a bit of a back seat at the moment while I work on another project. While I am a quick typer, I am a rather slow writer, especially as I want the story I am currently working on to be worth reading. I can't guarantee that it will be any good, but I'm gonna do my best! I'm about half way done (I really don't have any idea of how long it will end up being) and should have the first part up very soon (like as soon as I can make sure I format it properly for FA). From here on in I will try to post new parts as I finish them, but please be aware that I can go several weeks between sections as I write slowly. as I mentioned previously. I hope my endeavors will be worth it.

Sorry I haven't posted much recently. Currently working on a move to Tucson, AZ (Yay!), and things have been a little chaotic. Well going on a trip this week to scout out apartments there (crosses hir claws). Thankfully due to roommates, don't have to worry about people trying to take advantage of my absence lol. Seriously though, once things settle down, I hope to post more artwork, and not just of my fursona *giggles* ....
