Posted 7 years agoI really need to do something with my account here... I find it very relaxing on this site, I mean like idk it feels more "homey" than other mainstream art gallery sites.. so I really wanna get into the community sometime :V

Posted 9 years agoI would love to get going on creating my "secondary" fursona, as I already have a main fursona that I simply need to create a current reference for (lol).
So I would love to host a design contest to design my secondary, and wanted to see if anyone would be interested in joining??
Here are some of the things I want for her:
-She would have both a quadruped/feral form and an anthro form.
-She would be a crocodile.
-I am open to her being a hybrid of some sort, either with another scaled creature (maybe dragon?) or even some sort of mammal, if you want!
-My favorite color is purple at the moment, but honestly go crazy as long as it isn't over saturated acid trip rainbow color. Lol! I just want it to be pleasing to the eye and not too difficult to recreate!
-I would love her to have a somewhat tea relevant theme, or at least have Chamomile flowers ( http://tinyurl.com/hrrycu9 ) because "chamodile" is a hybrid word I made up between "chamomile" and "crocodile", hence the chamomile flowers. I chose Chamomile because Chamomile tea is probably one of my favorite teas, and it always seems to relax me... which is something I really need these days!
Other than those points, I think she is pretty free to interpretation. I want to eventually have an icon of her swimming in a cup of chamomile tea or something, or in some way interacting with either a cup of chamomile tea or a tea pot... something thematically appropriate, there are so many options!
Since she has no design yet, I would want to do another competition afterwards, or maybe an art trade if all else fails... but anyway, i want to start collecting icons of her once her design is nailed down!
So... would anyone be interested in a contest to design her?
Prizes would probably be something like the following:
1st Prize - a full bodied illustration of your character, full shading and a background too.
2nd Prize - a full bodied illustration of your character
and if there are 10 or more entries I will add a third prize:
3rd Prize - a colored sketch page of your character, up to 3 full bodied sketches with a few head shots, too!
might think of other prizes if there is enough interest. :)
