I never really liked the name 'Champford' but I was trying to think up something similar to my commission account 'Champ' so that's what came out (I've also used Champton on another site lol)...but all in all I've found it to be a bit lame. So I wanted to come up with something more interesting.

I'll likely be deleting some of my art that I don't like anymore and resubmitting the stuff I DO like to the new account. So I'll give y'all some time to save what you want from this account before I remove everything.

Actually I'll probably just throw everything in scraps here...nothing to worry about. Easier that way.

My dog may have an infection...or some kind of irritation. Either way I'm taking him to the vet today. Here's to hoping it's nothing serious :I

I go to a very nice and honest vet. He's technically retired but he continues doing his job for fun and for the animals. He loves all the critters of nature. He's awesome.

I wouldn't be doing this if I wasn't panicking about this whole ordeal. I have to move and I'm unemployed. I haven't gotten a response from the unemployment office so I don't know how much I'll be getting per week from them (last time it wasn't much) and I only have a month to save for the deposit and first month's rent on a new place!

I was minding my own business...driving to CVS to get a picture frame for my gf's mom's x-mas present when all of a sudden...

I didn't get too good of a look, but right there in downtown SC on Front St. around 7pm was some kind of...white tiger...wolf thing maybe? It was definitely white with black stripes, but I couldn't tell if it was canine or feline.

Some good things that happened today after I was laid off from my job:

- Took the dogs to the park and saw the cutest breed: Alaskan Klee Kai (basically a miniature husky...look it up)
- My tablet arrived at my shipping address
- It was very pretty on the drive up to get my tablet
- The tablet works!

Gonna give myself a little time tomorrow to try and get over this whole "being laid off" thing but then it's back to work on backed up commissions so I can (hopefully) get them all finished up with time to make some more money before I move!

Well...it's my day off today and in a bit I'm going to frolic off to go pick up my friend to help her find a new job. If she gets a job before mid-January then she will be my potential room mate when I get a new place. If not...then I'll have to find a little studio on my own.

My gf is moving back in with her Dad in order to be able to afford to rent a chair at a Salon and build up a client base so she can make more money etc... that whole thing. Well, her dad said he didn't want me and my dog moving in as well because it was too much to handle (my gf will be bringing her dog with her and two dogs plus two people will be overwhelming when he's been living alone for years since we last moved out).

SO I need to get my own place. I'll start looking in January...first for 1 bedroom apartments or possibly cheap 2 bedroom apartments if it looks like my pal will be getting a job. Then once mid January hits it'll get serious. Really I can rent an apartment any time in January once my last month's rent for my current place has been paid...I can only hope I'll have the money for a deposit and first month's rent etc... Ya know...all the stuff that comes with renting a place.

Also I need to find a place that's okay with pets :\ This is difficult as I refuse to give up my dog for the sake of finding a place. Is that pathetic? He's like my furry little child and I raised him from a pup. If it was life or death or if it was unhealthy for him, then I would find him a new home (for his own good) but as long as he's happy, he gets to stay with me! It's just that pet-friendly apartments tend to cost a bit more or ask for a pet deposit.

Hopefully I can find a place that will let me pay the deposit in payments in the first few months or something. That would be ideal.

Well those are my thoughts for today. I need some coffee.

I told myself I would never ask for donations again but I found out last night that the tables have turned on me in a bad way and I need anything I can get.
I can't take commissions because I'm still backed up and am making a bit from the Derpy Holiday project I'm doing. I had to get a new tablet as I currently do not have a working one and am out more money for that.
The deal is this: my gf and I need to live separately for a bit for personal reasons. I need to get an apartment by Feb 1st but I likely won't have money for first month's rent AND a deposit on a place considering how much I make in a month. None of my family has money and I've already asked them. There's a small chance my friend will get a job by then and can rent one with me but it took me 6 months to find my job so I don't know what's happening there.
Anything you can spare will help and if you can't spare anything then don't worry about it at all! I feel bad asking...

Here we go again :c

The very kind helped me get a hold of a tablet...but here's the thing:

The pen is defective and the other two pens in the household have been eaten by the dogs. Now...the Graphire 4 pen I had (that I had JUST fixed before the dogs got to it) worked fine on the new Bamboo tablet (model MTE-450) and the Bamboo Fun pen worked fine on the Graphire 4 tablet...

My question is: does anyone know for sure if a Bamboo Fun pen will work on a Bamboo Pen Tablet (Pen Only Tablet)?

Because for the life of me, I can't find an affordable MTE-450 model tablet pen! Good God it's so frustrating!

And the dogs ate both of the other pens today. In one day. WTF, dogs!?

EDIT:

I gave in and bought a new Wacom Bamboo Pen Tablet for $70 :\ Hopefully it arrives soon...and works.

This movie is amazing. It has so many twists and great character development. Plus it's the gayest movie I've ever seen without actually being gay.

It's some serious bromance and y'all will like it cuz it's got animal characters (a goat and wolf to be exact).

It's on YouTube in 12 parts and is maybe about an hour and a half in length (maybe longer).

Since an official English version was never released, the one I'm featuring is a fan dub...and boy is it a good one! It's better than some of the professional English dubs I've seen. The subtitled version on here is very pixelated and not of very good quality...but I'm sure it's great too.

But the vocal expression is great for an english dub. It's a good watch. I highly recommend it.

This delights me. I've always thought that drawn or not, it's still pedo. I'm actually glad the creepy fetish has been removed from the site. Sure, there's plenty of other creepy fetishes but this one has always made me particularly uncomfortable.

Alrighty... had suggested that I try using her Bamboo tablet pen on my Graphire and for a while I was skeptical.

Then sent me a link to someone's journal where they were discussing tablet pen options...and mentioned that she used a Bamboo pen for her Graphire...

SO after that string of events, I decided to give it a go and it works c:

It's a temporary fix as my gf will be wanting her pen back eventually. But hopefully I'll have a new tablet soon.

So there will be no more commissions or personal art until I can get a new or used one (that works).

The nib on the pen got shoved up into the pen somehow. I didn't notice until I was drawing and realized I couldn't tilt the pen at an angle and still draw...when I tried to pull the nib back out, the tweezers (and my nails) kept slipping and ended up pushing the nib further into the pen...now I can't use it.
