First and foremost, I want to do a little game you can earn free art for.

Alright so I've been doing no art for a while and want to change that. I'm hoping October or should I say locktober will help. Last year I came up with a load of ideas for inktober and never got around to it so I'm like a year behind. I'll be trying to stream art and games more especially since I don't need my AC as much now.

As for the game locktober is coming soon and I think it would be good for more of you to try denial or as I call it horny jail. Rules are simple, on or before the first of October comment or send a message to me saying you will be denying yourself orgasm for the month. Then simply follow through and be denied, cages or chastity belts are recommend but not required it's all honor based but you will need to follow up with me and let me know if you completed or failed by November 2nd. If you really are denying yourself I'm sure you'll remember to let me know when you finally are allowed to cum. Anyone who completes the month can have a pic of there character getting a bj from my oc, it's there reward for not cumming. Just the waist down to make it easier to mass produce the art if many complete the task. If you're female you can use a strapon or choose a rule 34 character, same if you don't have any OC's at all but still want to participate.

Sunday i went and saw the sonic movie. If you want the quick spoiler free review of it from me i would say 8/10, With the exception of Jim Carey making a few of his scenes go on a bit long, the movie goes by quite fast as it kind of should being a sonic film. Never found it boring and it was pretty easy to follow, with the jokes generally being good or at least not bad, the action is fairly decent especially the scenes of sonic slowing down time to do several things at once. The movie looks good visually which is surprising considering the creature from the first trailer, music could be better but i never really focused on the music during the movie so wasn't really a big minus for me. The fact it's in the real world for most of it is kinda lame but i turned out way better then i expected.

I'd say just give it a chance if you have any interest, speaking of most of the movie being in the real world the credits are retro styled for a while then a special scene plays, after that scene is over the credits are more normal text credits and there is not another scene after that so at least stay and watch the really nice 16bit credits and the scene after it.

Now that the general thoughts are out of the way i'll talk about individual scenes of note in i think chronological order so....

SPOILERS BELOW

It starts with a weird kinda off putting owl cause it's basically a feral animal that talks and is sonic's guardian, might be based on the OVA but not sure but we do get to see an entire tribe of echidna's so knuckles isn't alone and hopefully get's to appear in a sequel.

Sanic get's a cameo, i wonder if the person who first drew that is getting royalties at this point.

I wish they didn't show the mushroom eggman scene in the first trailer, very early on it's established sonic would need to go to a mushroom planet to escape earth and sonic really doesn't want to go cause mushrooms are terrible, sonic is correct btw mushrooms are super nasty. But still it meant the whole movie i knew this movie is going to end with eggman going through that portal to mushroom hill or mushroom kingdom.

Sonic get's put in a petcage after getting shot with a tranquilizer, for most people this is not important but i totally want to draw porn of that and hopefully i'm not the only one, plus this scene is called back to in one of the funniest scenes in the movie.

There is a badnicks reference but it's very minor blink and you miss it kind of thing, this reminds me sonic runs around in a clothes dryer, he told me not to do that in sonic sez, hypocrite. D:

A lot of reviews mention a bad fart joke but i can live with it cause it is in a scene where tom the cop sonic is with say's at least if you go to the mushroom planet you won't be the only fungi, to which sonic replies don't do ever do that again, i agree puns are the lowest form of humor.

Sonic's feet are shown for a bit as he get's new shoes from a girl seeing sonic's shoes are worn out and terrible, she even goes full sonic fan running in circles screaming gotta go fast. But still they showed the feet very slightly and there foot shaped not nubs like the games, foot fetishists rejoice. :P

There is one more annoying plothole where sonic has to get to the top of a building and he doesn't just run up it, the building is angled so i feel he could have done it but the jokes made while he sneaks up to the top are some of the funniest in the movie so i'll let it slide.

Sonic can slow time down, with a power like that i feel he's to op and should never be able to really be beat so i do like that eggman uses the power of his quills to make his machines run while sonic is in his time stop mode, also eggman mentions his eggsack, it makes more sense in the movie.

My most hated scene is the final battle just cause i hate friendship powers and sonic is nearly dead about to get blasted to shreds and tom says sonic's his friend and that causes sonic to get up and go super sayian, i'm not mocking super sonic, sonic goes blue..... EXTRA BLUE not yellow and super fast, attacking the eggmobile fast repeatedly damaging the glass and hull kinda like it would look after a boss in older games, then it get's punted through a warp ring too the mushroom planet.

For some reason i'm in the mood for olive garden, have you heard there endless pasta bowl is ENDLESS!?!? there is some annoying product placement but the final jokes involving olive garden was kinda funny.

Lastly there is the scene of eggman wandering the mushroom zone as the credits start but half way through the credits tails makes an appearance and he looked pretty good, and i hope for a sequel with more sonic like locations and characters, tails is shown and knuckles race is at least acknowledged, so there is a start and some sequel bating so if you have any interest in this movie or another sonic movie more in line with the games i suggest you go and support this movie it's a fine watch and you probably won't hate it, i think this movie is more on the cheap side to test the waters and see if a sonic movie could do well and if it does well which it is so far hopefully we'll get those more game accurate sequels. Anyway that's all unless you want to ask more about it in the comments.

Kinda bored today, if you want to ask me anything about myself, my character, or my world that my character and the prison entry story is set in go ahead.

So i don't think I've talked much about my personal life but a lot has been happening so i kinda wanted to just talk about some stuff going on.

To get the sad news out of the way first my grandfather is passing away from brain cancer, he's still alive but is bed ridden and has only been getting worse. He like me is not very social so i haven't talked to him much but have tried to show i care about him.

I have been thinking about ways to make a bit of money recently and i don't think I'm a good enough artist to do commissions, but i do think i can do a decent job coloring and/or shading traditionally. I'll make a bigger journal about this in the future but would anyone be interested in me working on line art? You would need permission from the original artist first though of course. I'm also thinking of writing some stories but since English isn't my strongest subject I'll just have to see how things go.

On to some more happy news my birthday is tomorrow the 20th of july. I also met an artist here irl since we live in the same state and it was pretty fun and i look forward to hanging out with her again as well as her friend/roommate. Not saying who cause while i have no problem saying i don't know if she would like me to keep it a secret or not.

Hey everyone sorry about the lack if art, games came out and well my family is awful and drama filled so they have been stressing me out anyway i have a lot of ideas of things i wanted to draw so i hopefully can start working on them next year. Hope you all have a merry Christmas.

I've seen 3 furs basically say there leaving the fandom in the past few hours and a common thing with them is there big twitter users and with that i would like to officially announce i never had a twitter i will never make a twitter it's layout is utter shit, hard to find anything you actively want find there, like if a company say check our twitter for more details the post your looking the thing you went there for will inevitably be like 30+ tweets down the list. It also breeds fighting and arguments especially with the small character limit causing you to be very specific with your words and leave out nuance quite often. I'm not even gonna say gab will save us it's got the same fundamental problems so i think what's happened to gab is wrong but I'm not gonna die on a hill for it.

In closing i think twitter is awful if you want to be happier with your life just ignore it and never look back I've been ignoring it as much as humanly possible my whole life and refuse to make one.

So I am not a fan of undertale I don't plan on playing delta rune supposedly it looks at your undertale save and I'm sure the save I have is not what I actually played, me and my brother share a steam account basically and when I went to give it a try like a year after it came out the game started on a black screen so I had to do some googling tried to reset my save nothing worked this damned save felt like a virus so I waited for the 15 minutes to start playing the game then I got the true pacifist cause it's basically the real ending, and my brother may have played it again since then so who even knows what's no my game save right now, plus delta rune will probably just be a smug cunt for 30 minutes since the genocide Boolean is set to true.

Anyway enough ranting about undertales gameplay mechanics and talk about the power of friendship trope. First off it's a popular variation of the deus ex machina trope which is previously unknown device or character or in this case abstract concept that comes in at the end with little to no explanation prior to this part of the story that fixes everything and gives your story a happy ending. Now yes stuff like kingdom hearts and yuigoh talk about the power of friendship every 5 minutes so it's not unexpected but just cause It tries to ingrain into your head that it's gonna pull of friendship magic doesn't change that it has all the other problems. Now I want you to take away any bias you have towards the existence of gods or lack thereof for this since this is about gods in a fictional setting not real life.

The thing that named deus ex machina was gods coming down on to a stage during a play using a machine to lower them cause deus ex machina roughly translates to machine of god. Now I want you to think of any story in any game, show, book, movie whatever that you think is really good, now imagine the ending was a god you never heard of and has no backstory comes in at the end to just make the climax the happiest at the end of the story. Most likely you would feel like this really canceled out a lot of everything that happened previously and just make you wonder why did the writer end it like that. Most people know the story of star wars so if you had a hard time coming up with an example to put an all powerful god scene in let's imagine this. Luke is near darth vader, force god jizzem appears and merges with luke, this makes luke super powered, he snaps his fingers and darth vader becomes good, luke then teleports to han solo to save him from boba fett and unfreeze him from carbonite. Luke unleashes his god energy and we cut to a scene of the death star blowing up with emperor plapetine inside it, obviously this ending would have made the movie way better. Now it's okay to have gods in a story but this way of doing it just feels lazy to me it feels like you wrote yourself into a corner and took the easiest way out of the situation.

Now I wanted to get that out of the way cause I feel like friendship is basically the god comes in and saves everything but worse in my opinion. First and I like I said this isn't about weather or not you believe a god exists but at least know what a god can do you know there seen as being more powerful then a person and can alter how the world works, friendship is a feeling an abstract concept it has no actual power in the real world the only time it ever has power is in fiction and pretty much always in the deus ex machina way unlike gods which can be the deus ex machina type or be actual characters. The other big problem is friendship does a lot of things it can just give you insane luck or armor/healing/resurrection abilities or even a friendship powered laser beam of death, how do you gain friendship would you and a friend basically be immortal if you where the best damn friends in the universe or is friendship powers more quantity over quality like would you have stronger friendship powers then those friends if you where say an internet celebrity that meets fans at conventions you probably wouldn't be best friends with many or any of them but you would at least sort of be friends with a lot of people, usually a lot more then the average person. See friendship powers are used in all sorts of things but they don't really have an clear rules it's just a convenient way to solve a problem as far as I'm concerned. Now I like kingdom hearts and persona even though they rely on friendship powers and I actually think there fun to play which is why I can enjoy them in spite of the friendship powers. You know it also just has to be said in real life if you are about to die and you remember that your good friends with someone it won't make whatever is dangering you just dissapear into nothing friendship powers just do not work irl.

TL:DR friendship powers seem to lack rules and are often put into situations in stories where the writer has given up and will take any idea to get them out of the hole they've written. It just feels like such a lazy way to end your story like you don't even care, in which why should i care if you don't. In addition friendship magic does not exist in real life, at least I hope people know this sometimes I'm not sure.
