Alright, I'm gonna open up ten Inktober commission slots, which possibly to do more if there ends up being time for it.

To make things simple, there will be a limit of two characters per person. I was gonna do just one, but figured that two might be more fair.

The deadline to grab any of these will be Fri, Oct. 24, the week before Halloween. Because I want to save some time to do a couple of Halloween pictures I also want to do.

I'm really getting tired of all these set backs. There's been way too much much shit happening consecutively over this past year. It's really making me extremely frustrated and unable to keep up with a schedule I desperately want to get on so I can get all my current commissions done.

Life is a never-ending stream of frustration indeed.

Why several pics of mine are suddenly gone, it's because FA and their bizarre enforcement of certain rules we know FA doesn't do properly with anyway.

Sorry for not telling you in advance, but it was hard to do so when I didn't get the chance to even argue my case for various reasons or even be asked if I could just remove the picture to begin with... no, I'm not going to mince words, this whole situation is fucking stupid and reinforces why I don't post commissions or even much content on here anymore.

This was the last straw. Any further delays in doing so have now been permanently removed from my mind. But to make it clear, next year is going to be the last year no matter what. Whether it'll be at the end of it or sooner will depend on the next few months.

I don't have much to say, having never known the guy, but I did want to say a few things.

While I have had many criticisms about how this site has been handled, which I often only share in private anyway, one thing I can say is that I did believe that Dragoneer at least cared about it and wanted it to be a site for people to use. And I hope that people remember that, for any faults they have, to be respectful about his passing. I think it important to remember that he was a person and not some perfect being who should have done things better and that no matter what he did try his hardest with the situation he had.

That's all I have to say. I am sure other people can and have said better things. I merely wanted to be the person to remind people, since it seems to be happening a lot, that the dead can't defend themselves and that it is important to be respectful no matter your personal feelings.

So, since I have been a bit inactive, here is some details I am willing to dive into but with brevity. This won't be a very long journal.

Sometime within the past month I suffered an arn injury and said injury has made it difficult to work on drawings and really anything. While I have been able to, it's not as much as I would like, which massively is a step back as I was hoping to be more active with drawing in general. I already had a line up of ideas and projects in the works. Naturally this latest setback also set me into a massive depression, as it seems to often happen whenever I want to move forward that some obstacle gets in my way.

However, even then I am trying to remain persistent in keeping up and getting back on track. While my arm injury isn't fully healed, I am taking steps to make sure it doesn't get worse.

I figured I'd let you all know this to some extent, even though I prefer to keep these things to myself as much as possible, but as it has been a month since it first happened, I decided it needed to be somewhat addressed. I am taking care of myself, I am making sure my health doesn't come second, just no worries about that. I just wanted to make sure about being transparent with you all.

I will hopefully be back to full working order soon, even with all these obstacles. Until then, hope you all are having a safe summer.

I don't particularly feel the need to do so, since I don't sell NSFW stuff so I'm not self-conscious about it like others on here are but might as well jump in on this because I did encounter someone recently who was underaged and looking to buy commissions from people before his parents caught him. (He didn't commission me, btw, only mentioned in a DA journal he wanted to at some point).

But yeah, no one under the age of 18 can make a purchase from me with regards to any kind of commission work. Again, I don't sell anything NSFW, but I'm not feeling in the mood to argue pedantics because kids are stupid and don't think of the consequences of getting caught doing that shit. It's not just them who could get into trouble for it.

Well, with that announcement done, time to get back to sleeping.

I rechecked that person who tried to start shit with me that I mentioned in my last journal if they were still trying to start shit and try and respond to me as I had a feeling they were the kind of pathetic person who would go and keep going, even if all they did was respond to themselves. And as it turns out he is.

Even more so, I saw on their own pages that they made a journal which features their unhinged behavior and also mentions me in it, though technically only by link.

Unlike them, I will not be responding to the journal nor will I share it. I could report them, as they are attempting to slander me, but FA is not going to do anything anyway, so it hardly matters. I will not play this game, as I said. I will, however, tell you all I found it immensely funny to read because it was the most stupid thing ever and the guy is such a nutcase that I'm not in any way worried about anything he does. And besides, life is too fleeting to worry about some dumbass anyway.

Either way, I do hope you all are having a good day and don't worry if you also have to deal with internet nutcases. They're literally their own worst enemies and will no doubt end up in jail because they attacked someone for saying something they disapprove of. No need for me or you to do anything about it.

It just seems to me like, with just two offers, that there's no point to keep going. I assume no one has the money to do so anyway, so it's not like it's going to be a big deal at this point. I can't say I'm too surprised, it's really hard and sometimes you just got other people to do the work for you and that's perfectly fine. I just had the rotten luck of bad timing.

I'm just thinking it, though, but the truth is is that I'm exhausted, to the point I'm actually losing weight and sleep and even a bit of my sanity. So it might just be a good idea to cut it down or cut it off completely... but I'll give you my verdict later. I'm just sharing thoughts at this moment.

THESE ARE FOR COLORED COMMISSIONS ONLY

You do not need to wait for slots to open to ask for sketch and inked commissions, they are open at all times unless I make an announcement otherwise. For people who already do have commissions with me, you are also not affected by this. Again, slots are for colored commissions only.

Because of family issues, I will have to dumb the plans I intended to do for this weekend since I am going to be away from my computer for most of it.

So, finally changing up how I accept commissions.

First and foremost? Slots are no longer for anything but colored commissions. From now on, if you wish to commission me for sketches and inked pics, you can do so at any time you wish for it and I'll add it to my list of things.

For colored commissions, I will not get to them right away, but in the near future they will be available once again for people to get so long as they desire it.

And that's about it. Commissions are going well enough with what I have and I just decided it was time for a shake up in how I did it cuz I felt like the slot system as I had it was very limiting.

I no longer post commissions I make on my galleries. I did so because of personal reasons and it's not because I do not appreciate the work, which is untrue. I just don't want to have to finish a picture and then get notes begging me to know when I'll on to the next one.

However, if I do post one, it will usually be because I feel proud enough of both it and the idea in general to highlight it in my gallery. And if that's something you don't feel comfortable with, then you have to tell me. Because I will NOT be happy if you suggest me to take a pic down.

And that's not even just regarding commissions. I don't tolerate anyone asking me to take down what amounts to hours of hard work because of reasons, especially if I'm sharing it for you all to enjoy.

One last thing, as well, do not go and complain about me taking down the pic of Eclipse to anyone involved in the decision. That I tolerate even less, when people are being harassed over something. You will get my eternal ire if I catch you doing so.

These will make a comeback, though I will be changing up how I do commissions in order to compensate for them. Namely, I'm gonna be using any slots from now on for them and thus you don't have to wait for me to open up slots for commissions.

Commissions, Patreon, etc. I have had a rough couple of months and it's really starting to affect me financially, so I'm about to do more now that I actually have the time to.

I won't go into the details because details often bring disappointment when you can't meet them. But I am letting you all know this so that I'm actually keeping things up to date.
