Titan Chapter: DON'T PANIC!! I'm not stopping work on it, nor restarting! I'm going to be using an alternate account for Titan Chapter, so I can keep it all in one place rather than mix it with my Sonic stuff. I'll be linking everyone to that account later on, as well as other things. =)

Right. Okay. Allow me to firmly explain why I don't go out of my way to draw adult pictures. There are three reasons behind it, of which I will try to go into detail. So get a cup of coffee, tea, soda, milk, or whatever you drink, and sit back.
REASON ONE: ANTHROCON BLUES
Waaaaaaaay back in 2002, I attended Anthrocon. Back then, Chaos Croc didn't exist. I was Alex Daragon, a guy trying to get the hang of what it means to be a furry. During this convention, I experienced a lot of uncomfortable things, such as belly scratching from random guys, listening to a bunch of furries defend why Sonic the Hedgehog is NOT considered furry, and learning that if you went to one of these, you were automatically considered gay. Least to say, this was the LAST time I went to a furry con.
Anyways, what happened with the porn? Well, it all has to do with a rather strange incident. You see, I went to a lot of anime cons as well. And I was surprised when I found a few of them there. They remembered me, and we hung out for a bit. Until, that is, two of my friends got into an argument with one of the, shall we say, more popular furry artists there.
My friend made a comment on how he thought that you shouldn't need to draw porn in order to make money. The artist's argument was that, in fact, you did. If you were a furry, and an artist, you drew porn. Because that's all that furries want. Porn, porn, porn. And always homo-erotic. I won't go into the entire argument, but least to say, my friends left shortly after, swearing they'd never go to a furry con ever again.
Now me, as I stood there and listened to the exchange, I was a bit angry. My friend was right. There are PLENTY of furry artists who don't draw porn, and manage to make a living with their art. There's no rule that you HAVE to draw two guys 'yiffing' each other.
SUMMARY: I don't draw it because I feel I don't need to. Does that mean I'm better than the likes of BBMBBF or Kayla-Na? No, I'd never think that. They make money with their stuff, and god bless them for it. It's just not my bag, baby.

Another reason is that I don't practice it. Sure, I could draw some amazing porn if I sat down and tried. But the problem is, I don't feel the need or desire to. There are times I sit here, and doodle tentacle porn, or Croc banging someone in the rear, sure. But none of it gets saved or uploaded because it never turns out looking right.
SUMMARY: I don't draw it because I haven't practiced enough, and I think it sucks.
REASON THREE: YOU BORE ME
This one is going to sound weird, but...porn is boring to me. It really is. Oh look, a picture of (insert fan character here) banging Sally. *CLICK* And look, Amy Rose being tentacle raped. *CLICK* Ah, and Blaze being molested by Eggman Nega. *CLICK* None of that interests me.
Now, say for instance I find a picture of Sally, shackled to a wall, and Blaze dressed like a dom, ready to whip the fur off the squirrel? THAT I would save. Why? Because it's a picture that lets my imagination run all KINDS of ideas. Is Sally doing this willingly? Did Blaze suddenly go evil? Is there more here going on than meets the eye? So many ideas!
Call it me being desensitized if you want, but that's the truth of the matter.
SUMMARY: Typical porn is boring to me, so I don't waste my time drawing it.

No More Tails-Ko

I've decided that, after a couple more projects involving the two-tailed femme fatal (one of them a commission), I'm going to stop using Tails-Ko as Croc's personal Starscream. Now, before all of you begin typing the baws and complaints, I'll post a few answers to some questions I know I'll be getting.
DOES THIS MEAN YOU'LL NEVER DRAW HER AGAIN?
No. I'll still be drawing her. The only change is that she'll no longer be Croc's minion. You'll still see her in one way or another, depending on my mood.
ARE YOU GIVING CROC A NEW PARTNER?
Yes. You'll have to wait and see. No spoilers. :P
WHY ARE YOU CHANGING THIS?
Truthfully? Back when I first did her as Croc's partner, it seemed like a fun idea. But now, as I get older, and more ideas come to mind, I realize that it's not an ORIGINAL idea. I can do better. Besides, a lot of people snort at the name Tails-Ko, as it's not really original sounding. XD I didn't come up with it myself, so don't blame me.

Apparently my comic isn't fit to be on their site. I got a note from the admin, saying it was too mature for their site. When I questioned it, pointing out that it IS marked as a mature 18+ comic, I got THIS reply.
"I'm mostly concerned about the nudity and the fact that the characters basically look like sonic characters. Being that a large portion of the users here are big sonic fans and also happen to be in the 13-years-old range, it just doesn't seem like it would be a good mix."
Which is WHY I marked it as MATURE. Why do you even offer a MATURE 18+ ONLY setting if you're worried about little kids seeing a pair of nipples?! Why even bother with that setting in the first place?!
Fuck it. I'm not going to fight this, cause I already see I can't win. Webcomic's been deleted from SmackJeeves. I'll keep posting it here on DA and FA. Or until I get a mod or admin telling me "Nooooo, not allowed, too mature!"

So yeah. I'll leave pages 1 and 2 up, but any and all future pages will be on the above link. That is all.

Game Idea
Posted 15 years agoOkay, so I've had this game idea for a couple of years now, and I'm curious to see if anyone with the Flash skills could make it. My programming abilities in Flash are, to put it mildly, sub-par. So I'm throwing the idea out there, and offering to do the art for it, if someone could come in and add the programming and junk.
The game is a platformer, and stars Rouge the Bat. After sneaking into Robotropolis, Rouge discovers plans that Dr Eggman has created an orbital hypno-laser weapon, and plans to use it to take control of the minds of everyone on the planet. After downloading the plans for it, she accidentally sets off the alarm, which activates an anti-flying shield around the city. Unable to fly away, Rouge has no choice but to head through the city and leave via the emergency exit.
There are numerous robots through the city, each one able to capture and/or brainwash Rouge if they catch her. In order to make it through the level, you have to avoid the robots at all costs. There's no attacking option. The game is split between three parts. First is a standard city platformer, where all the robots are. Avoid them, and reach the factory at the end of the level.
The second part of the game takes place inside a roboticizer factory. All of the platforms are conveyor belts, drawing the player towards a roboticizer tube. In the background is a giant TV screen, that will randomly switch on and beam a hypnotic signal. Unless the player ducks before it comes on, Rouge will be hynotized, and stand obediently as the belt draws her to the tube. She'll snap out of it when the TV switches off. At random, other characters will be on the belts, entranced. If the player touches them before they reach the tube, they'll be 'rescued', and vanish. If not, they'll be roboticized and, if the player is still there, will try to grab and capture Rouge.
The final part is when you leave the factory. Eggman has powered up the orbital hypno-laser, and begins firing it down at you. You have to race and avoid the blasts and reach the end without getting hit. Pretty short and sweet.
And, of course, there are three endings. The hypno ending has Rouge brainwashed into joining Eggman's army, and aids him in taking over the world. The roboticized ending shows Rouge, robotic, endlessly working in his factories making more robots for his army. The actual ending has Rouge escape the city, and delivers the information to G.U.N.
Finally, the bonus features. Two alternate costumes for Rouge based on the endings (Eggman uniform and roboticized look), and a gallery of pictures based on the game.
So that's the idea. If anyone wants to accept the challenge of programming this, let me know!

Usually, my birthdays are kind of depressing, as I tend to look back at my life and go 'WTF have I been doing?!' and end up depressed. But that didn't happen this time, and it's all thanks to the numerous amounts of well wishes I got, not to mention the gift art some of you did. Thank you to everyone. =)

New Year, New Start
Posted 15 years agoFirst off, a Happy New Year to all of you. Farewell to 2010, hello 2011!
Since I made the announcement of removing the Titan Chapter things, I've gotten hit with a LOT of people asking me if I were never drawing those kinds of things again. The short answer: of course I'll draw them again! But, in the interest of (hopefully) going to work on the Titan Chapter comic, I'm removing them so that people don't get confused. "How can Tyamet be attacking Shalia when, based on this pic in your gallery, she was statuefied?!" That's what I want to avoid in doing this.
Now, this leads into my many other projects. After much thinking and doodling, I've decided not to continue the Keepers of the White Rose comic I took over from
lizwuzthere. Truth is, I don't know her characters as well as she does, so I couldn't really just pick up where she left off.
As for the Egg Legion comic, I'm going to continue that. However, it will NOT be on a schedule. I will update it when I feel like it. I know a lot of you are eager to see what happens next, and I hope I won't disappoint. =) But Titan Chapter is my baby. My legacy. And I want that to come before drawing Sonic guys and girls in latex Eggman uniforms. XD
Some of you out there have speculated that I was giving up hypno art, or Sonic in general. And those of you would be WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!! I love drawing that kind of stuff! God only knows how many times I've sat here, bored out of my mind, and I ended up drawing, say, Rouge getting zapped by a hypno-beam. Or Sally getting roboticized. I've got piles of old art like that I haven't even scanned yet, dating back to 2002!
So, to sum it all up...
Titan Chapter is (hopefully) go.

I am not giving up on the hypno/robot/statue things.

Major Announcement
Posted 15 years agoBeginning this weekend, I will be temporarily removing all Titan Chapter related material from my gallery, commissions excluded. This includes biographies, stories, and the 'fetish' themed pictures. So if you want to keep looking at those statue comics, or the mind control ones, you better save them now, guys and gals!
Let me say, before I go any further, that I'm very glad you people like some of the art I've done with my non-Sonic characters. I'm truly flattered. But, somewhere along the line, I've lost the original idea behind the story. And I'm sorry if this comment annoys my Sonic fans, but Titan Chapter is the thing most important to me.
Now, does this mean I'm going to stop drawing Sonic? Hell no! I love drawing Sonic stuff. But I've had these Titan Chapter characters for years, even longer than Chaos Croc. And it's high time I start taking it more seriously.
I'm not going to make a promise, or vow, that the comic will be released soon. I've made too many promises that I've broken in the past, and I don't want to do that anymore. All I'll say is to watch this space for further details. =)

I'm not going to make a promise, or vow, that the comic will be released soon. I've made too many promises that I've broken in the past, and I don't want to do that anymore. All I'll say is to watch this space for further details. =)

Apparently I own a webcomic now
Posted 15 years agoAfter talking with lizwuzthere last night, she told me she no longer wants to do her webcomic, Keepers of the White Rose. I told her that I was sad, because I really wanted to see where the webcomic went from where she left off. So she said "well, why don't you take it over and do it yourself then?" I thought she was joking, so I agreed to it.
Turns out, she was NOT joking. XD
So, I'm taking over her comic, and attempting to continue what she started. This should be easy, since the foundations are already there. Plus, she's handing over the notes for the storylines and plot developments to me. Even still, I can't help but feel nervous about taking the helm for this ship. I've tried to do my own webcomic before, and failed miserably.

Sure, I could be one of those "OMG FA IZ ATTACKING SONIC ARTISTS" that are running around right now. But I know it's not true. I simply said that as a joke.
As I said before, I know and understand WHY FA has to do this. I'm just pointing out that there's going to be a LOT of people screaming 'double standard', if they haven't already.

Posted 15 years agoYes, I know all about the thing with the Sonic art, and it 'technically' falling under the category of 'cub'. However, unlike all the adult artists, I'm not going to jump ship, run away, or any other meaning of the phrase. First off, a lot of my stuff is NOT considered adult, since I rarely ever draw nudity.
The MAIN reason I'm not leaving, however, is because NO ONE HAS SAID IT WILL BE BANNED!! It's all just speculation at this point! No mod or admin has said that it will definately be gotten rid of. And even if they do, it's just the adult works. And I, for one, would like to believe that there's more to the Sonic community than simply seeing Amy's tits.
So no. I'm not leaving. And to those who have said they're leaving, or are in the process of leaving, I have only this to say. Perhaps you should consider making a name for yourself that doesn't involve standard, run-of-the-mill smut, rather than running away and crying in a corner over something that has not been decided yet.
And if this insults anyone out there, tough.

Cub porn, I'm not really into. It's a fetish (what isn't these days?), so there's plenty of you who like that sort of thing. And all power to you for that. To each their own, so long as you don't try to force it down my throat. However, there is one part of this update that...kinda makes me scratch my head a bit.
If I'm reading it right, it says that regular cub art is fine, so long as it isn't adult in nature. There's the key word. Adult. Now, obviously, a picture of two cubs 'yiffing' would be downright adult. But, what about nudity? Perhaps. A cub in sexy clothing (if such a thing is possible)? While not showing nudity, that might be considered adult simply for the subject matter.
I hope you can all see where I'm going with this. Just what defines a picture as 'adult'? Would my hypnosis and mind control fall under that category? At first glance, the answer would be no. But, if I imply that, say, Croc hypnotizes Blaze and has sex with her, would THAT be adult simply for the implication of sexual intercourse?
All I can hope is that the FA leaders use wise and careful judgment when deciding what is considered adult, and what is just foreplay.
