Circumstances have dictated that I will no longer be able to attend FC 2014. However, my pain is your gain! I have a hotel room that I would like to transfer ownership of to one of you lucky furs. If I don't it will go back to the hotel's possession and become available to the public rather than one of you at the con price.

Room is standard size 2 double bed room. Either comment here or note me if you would like the room. First come first serve.

Please keep in mind that the deposit (1 night stay plus tax) will be charged to your card once the transfer process is complete so serious inquiries only please.

Has it really been a year since I did one of these journal things? Well aren't I just a wordy dragon. :P

So I decided to be crazy and volunteer to do a photoshoot for Rainfurrest again this year. It was wild and crazy but still a lot of fun. Thank you to all who came by and let me take your photo. :)

You all have been patiently waiting to see these and I do apologize for how long it took to get them done. Life happens sometimes. So without further delay, click here to see all the photos! They're all in alphabetical order and include the photo used for your fursuit badge so just browse to the name you gave me and there you'll be.

Feel free to post up to your own page, print or whatever. All I ask is that you give credit. :)

While I was setting up for the photos, one of the staff members came by and dropped off a box saying, "Here's the badge printer." I was like, "Uhhhhhh.....okay but I have no computer." So Blackpaw came by with his laptop and he made up a system on the fly to make and print badges using the photos I took for them using a template and Paint. MS Paint!!!! So if you got a fursuit badge printed please go on over to  blackwolfpack and give him mad props for that.

On the badge note, there were a few of you who didn't pick up your badge and they got packed up when the con was over. If you'd like to get a hold of your badge just get in contact with the Rainfurrest staff folk by clicking here.

If you see any mistakes in names or anything on the photos just let me know and I'll get that corrected.

So Flickr can be a bit of a pain sometimes. I've gone through and removed all of the doubles that Flickr produced when I uploaded the photos so it should be much easier and quicker to browse the set now.

Hey all!

It's been a wild and crazy year but one of the pleasures and honors I was able to have was to do a photoshoot for Rainfurrest this year. What a crazy experience that was! I had a great time working with everyone and I hope everyone who participated had an enjoyable experience. :)

But now onto the part you've all been so patiently waiting for. They're done! All the photos have been processed and uploaded to my Flickr!

Please feel free to repost to wherever you like or even print. All I ask is credit be given as it takes a lot of time and effort for all those eye candy.

Yes that's right folks. Rainfurrest has come and gone this year and it was one to remember. It grew leaps and bounds to 900+ attendees this year and that's amazing!

Got to see lots of familiar faces from all over as well as met a few new folks. Big thanks to everyone who came and the staff to make it a great event!

Hey all you photo furs and scalies. I have a question for y'all that I'm hoping to get some feedback on.

I'm going to be venturing into the land of studio photography for the first time for a gig in Sept. I'll be doing the fursuit photos for Rainfurrest this year. I'm pretty stoked about it but I'm hoping to get some feedback to help my equipment rental decision for the con.

Since I don't have any experience with lighting equipment brands, I don't know what to expect as far as durability and ease of setup and such.

I'll be setting up a simple 2 heads, 2 umbrellas, 2 stands kit, a power pack and a simple backdrop. I'll be renting from Glazer's Camera (<--click that) so you know what's available to me.

So I'm not really known in the fandom so I was curious as to what a quick google search would pull up.

So FC09 was a bit of fun this year. I found out about half way through the con that there were some fun achievements that someone (I apologize that I can't remember your name after meeting you.) put together and one of them was called "shutterbug." Take 1000 photos at the con and you unlock this achievement. To my surprise, I checked my camera log after the end of the con and discovered that I had made the achievement. Woot!

I met some new faces this year and got to see some familiar ones. I'm terrible at names so I'll just say thanks to all whom I met and got to see. :)

As stated at the beginning of this little journal, I took a metric *%$@ ton of pics at the con. I'll post some of the ones that came out the best but I need to decide where I would like to make an archive of my photo work. I'd like to get more of my stuff out and known in other places, maybe make a few bucks off of it. Having the hobby funding itself would be pretty sweet.

Anyway, good times were had and I'm looking forward to seeing some of you again in the future.

Night come sooner. The days are getting colder. The leaves are turning all shades of red, yellow, orange and falling to the ground only to blow away in the wind. I like fall. Its pretty. I'm glad it lasts a while here. ^_^

I think I might go for a drive next weekend and take some photos if I don't have to work.
