I legit had no clue game is coming out on switch 1 as well. Friend made me aware the game leaked and I was like fuck it I got a better pc let me try it on emulator if it works. And it does.
So I gave it a bit of a go coz fuck it. Might as well.
Man I laughed so fucking hard in first battle. They are literally ripping of palworld battle system. Like you just got moves on cooldown and wait for pokemon to smack each other. It's hilarious. The only good point of this new system is that prob for the first time ever I used leer willingly since there was nothing else I could do while cooldowns are going. Yes they made the battles somehow even less requiring of brain cells.
As for looks switch 1 emu but game is about on par of persona 3 on PS2 right now with some fancier visual effects. I still find it absurd they got these like talky cutscenes movies where characters act and talk with subtitles but there is no VA going at all. But again that would require them actually caring about making a good game and not just a cash grab.
Of stuff I like is that the female avatar finally has a breast area. I legit can't remember any other game having that. Your box is always with you so you can switch stuff on fly. There is a knock out period when hitting wild pokemanz so you can still capture them.
I'm kinda 2 hours in and game is still tutorializing me. And I'm not sure if I'll continue. I wanna see how mega evos stuff work and more of leveling and face the absolute amazingness that is Mega Starmie. Not sure if you saw gifs but that thing is special. It's like I got other games going on and I'm kinda already tired of the game tbh. Besides pure curiosity how the story and megas go I got really zero drive to continue the game on.

Man it's funny to me how that game looks so much better than wilds. Wilds has these drab colors and really blended textures for monsters where they all look so generic. Meanwhile this has such an absurdly good lighting and shadow system it makes wilds look like it's a last gen title. It's so funny to me.

I'm sad it's mobile only though. I'd give it a go. Guess this is this gens portable spin off that I'd actually like but can't play. Oh well.

This reminds me of ps2 era where people hit the graphics max and to make your game stand out you just had to be innovative or just make something that is just balls to the walls crazy.

Like man this whole last month has been so hard for me trying to get over it and just absolutely failing at certain points. Today I got knocked out for half the day just staring at the ceiling coz I couldn't reign anything in and being super anxious. It's just so mentally draining.
I can't do anything. I can't work on commissions coz if a stray thought or action comes in I don't like I just wanna burn the whole picture down. I can't game coz it requires long stretches of constant focus and me constantly fighting thoughts in my head while trying to game. I can't watch anything coz I constantly keep rewinding the video to hear a slight part of sentence I didn't hear. I can't focus going out recently coz one that got me is constantly reading car plates and not being able to walk further. I can't go online coz I keep constantly repeating the username, time of postage and amount of views a picture has.
It's just draining to even exist at this point and I'm at this point just exhausted. I just wanna sleep away the whole day and not have to think anymore. I hate it.

Just get a 2.5k€ GPU to be able to run game above 60 fps stable on high setting 1440p and upscaling.

After that patent being claimed for like the whole concept of taking a creature in game and making it attack something else in 3D space and getting away with it I'm just fucking done.
Like I'd like to see them sue WoW for hunter being able to that from a game that came out in 2004. At this point they know what they are doing is illegal and they just don't care. It's all about bullying smaller companies instead of making a competitive product. Make pokemon better? Nah. We are just gonna sue and delete anyone that even manages to make a game better than us.
Also that whole incindent where they stole someone else's art for Pokemon game and the artist fucking deleted everything saying oh no nintendo it's my fault coz you got caught stealing art, I wasn't supposed to draw art of a game to begin with, please daddy mario don't put me in the trunk.
All that combined how switch 2 is a trash overpriced way behind console, the whole thing being extremely anti consumer and the games on it are high way robbery and generally how greedy they've been with everything Nintendo ranks lower than Ubisoft on my list of companies now.

RE Requiem? I legit got no clue why people are excited for that game. Looks like daily horror game steam slop. Like there is absolutely nothing interesting about that game. It just looks bland and generic.

For like highlights at least Silent Hill f doesn't seem to be ashamed of it's roots and is actually making a proper slow burn smack the monster with a stick if you want to game.
Ninja Gaiden 4 looks fucking awesome and I hope it does well.
And of course a new game in Black Myth series. I didn't play Wukong coz well I can't run that game but from what I saw it looked legit. I can't wait to see people trash talk new one on garbage again coz they are afraid at how much better products China can make with less money.
In general most eastern shown games looked like actual games that are like video games and are not ashamed they are video games. Western games look more like oh we are so much more advanced our games are art and need to tell a story and I just roll my eyes at it.
We still got the cringe fest of future games showcase tonight but those tend to show off some out of nowhere indie pc game you never heard of. Like Void/Breaker last time. Out of nowhere one of my favorite FPS games ever made from the demo I played.

So I was looking forward towards pc Stellar Blade version. It was there on Steam since it was announced on the PlayStation stream.
But behold now the game says not available in your region. Even devs were like wtf on twatter. Seems game is not available for countries that don't have PSN support without even needing PSN support.
To add insult to injury they also showed Denuvo in there at last moment so you can't even pirate it play in countries you can't even get the game legit.
With this utter stupidity if Astro Bot or the Medievil remake come to pc and are even available I'm not going to buy them even though I was super hyped for those games.
No not even Bloodborne if it happens. But we know that one is never gonna happen.

So elden ring nightreign is coming out this month and I wanna get the game but am short on funds.

So I took like almost half a year break from drawing or anything mostly coz I've been feeling really bad and my OCD and depression kicked into overdrive. I'm trying to get back into stuff so hope to actually manage more stuff without breaking down pathetically.

On side notes and stuff that has really been weighing me down Windows 10 is getting end of support soon and I need to upgrade my PC for Windows 11. The problem is that I need like a full rebuild. And just getting the base of case, motherboard, CPU, ddr5 and an ssd would run me round 400€ which is like I got no clue where to get that kind of money.

I've been thinking of upping some of commission prices or maybe making process a bit more simplified to get more art done. If anyone is reading this and commissions stuff would like to know what you think fair prices are? Would people be interested in maybe seeing more YCH or themed promotions for art?
Was thinking of also making a Ko-Fi and Subscribestar if people wanna throw some money over. Don't wanna make anything money gated it'd just be there for support. For sure plan is to up the commission output depending how much my body can handle it.
