Before you ask because I do have people ask me a ton of times, Yes! my commissions are open! i have a huge back log and I will get you in when i finish up a bunch of spots!

with that being said! I am putting any progress on commissions on hold for a short period of time since I am getting a new drawing tablet with a screen that SHOULD improve the look of my pieces. HOWEVER It will be about a week or so before i get back into getting some progress done on these commissions due to waiting on my tablet to get to my home and to get familiarized with the mechanics of it so i can make any future pieces i make for commissions look higher quality when it comes to getting your pieces done. I also want to minimize the amount of pieces that would be a little lower in quality due to lines being a little wobbly, detail work not being accurate, and a few others. you know... some stuff that can improve the piece when this tablet comes in and I get famiiar with how it works!

If you have ever heard of the Game Show Let's Make a Deal, I might be picked today! I didnt tell you guys until today because I wanted it to be a big fat surprise!!!! Any ways, if you dont know what the show is like, it has very similar vibes as The Price is Right but they added one feature that was implemented when covid hit.... AT HOME CONTESTANT PARTICIPATION!!! So I applied back in june last year and got the interview in july, and then radio silence. i seriously thought "eh... they probably didnt like my interview enough" and went about my day. one day an email saying Let's make a deal with a date and I immediately opened it! well! here we are!!! I will be on the Virtual wall you see in the back ground of the show and have just as much of a chance to get picked by wayne brady as anybody else! I will let everybody know when my episodes air! yes... EPISODES... as in PLURAL!!!

Yup! As you can see I will be heading from my quaint town across the country to Florida to visit family and go to universal studios tomorrow (the 3rd of September if you are reading this at a later date)! People are telling me to open commissions... nope... when I did open them on all the sites that I was on nobody was interested... even discord members lacked interest... come back to me with a platinum solid reason on why I should open them THAT information and MAYBE i might reconsider keeping them permanently closed...

it isnt a lack of money issue because the same people who say that will buy a 30 dollar commission 3 seconds later... when mine were 3 bucks...

and even if it is strongly recommended... it isnt required to open them as an artist... that is a fact right there...

so given that information on top of the lack of interest when money is involved...

before you ask for commissions... no... i dont do them... you want a piece from me either request or trade because why try to do commissions if it is just the artist's help line? and more importantly why draw up an entire sheet just for people to dismiss it due to "lack of money" before going for a bigger, more popular artist? seems pretty counter productive to me....

so yeah i do art trades and requests... i'd rather be financially ruined on my own accord than have people help make things worse...

yes... it sounds toxic... but remember... i had more requests and art trades than i ever did have commissions... so at least understand where i am coming from when i say this...

I don't know if people know this or even read my bio... but the point of this channel is to share my journey to become a better artist... but I have noticed recently i have been getting less faves... is me being skilled at art really required for respect? With this psychotic clown of a year coming to a close... I think some new years resolutions are in order...
1. I am going to better my personality. I had some hard regrets in the past I won't forget but I always come back from the grave somehow... this time I am hoping to become less cynical by the end of the year
2. Get better at my art... this should've an obvious one... but my art has been improving from bleh to huh. Hoping to get more art drawn so by the end it will look good so expect more requests for practice down the line

And 3... lose some weight... that is an obvious one for me

Just a vent here for those thinking I am about to embarrass myself... If I ever feel or say something negative about something... understand that isn't me normally... that is my depression talking unless I had a really bad experience with something... I lost friends due to untreated depression and it hurts... I am getting it treated as we speak, but the damage is already done... it upsets me that when I want to talk to them I remind myself they probably didn't like me since I introduced myself to them and wouldn't understand my situation if I explained it to them... anyways just letting off some steam and hopefully will start moving on... some people who didn't like me are still following me but I honestly don't care at this point since they have somewhat good intentions in making sure I don't mess up here... (kind of odd in my opinion but whatever... it is what it is)
If they see this I hope they understand my situation was rough and seemingly hopeless and I am in the process of fixing not only the problems but myself as well... I may have screwed up... but at least I am doing something most brave men fear... changing a mindset... even if those hopes aren't high in regards of hoping they understand and can forgive me for what I have done...
