OK long story short, today I wanted to game a little but hadn't turned on any system for months some in years and every place i turned, Updates Required...

I swear I spent all my time updating games and consoles today I didn't feel like gaming once I was done.
This may sound like a old man argument but I despise modern consoles and their reliance on Updates and online connections.

I think that is why i feel no rush or need to get the next console, why so i can wait around some more or need an update or patch to play a game which should of been ready to play at launch.
I have no company loyalty as they don't care one bit about me just what I can pay them.

OK I'll stop for now, but damn updates suck monkey butt.

Just curious what is your opinion.
Is the PS3 and the Xbox360 old enough to be Retro Consoles?

When does a system become retro? A Decade after its loss of company support, sooner or has to wait even longer?

I still play both from time to time, not gonna lie I still like to play Rockband and Guitar Hero once in a blue moon.

I hope you laugh as hard as I did.

As some of you know, I am quite the Introvert and do my bests when left alone.
However tho, I do get lonely and it sucks being so cautious and nervous making new friends is almost impossible.
I have no clue how to introduce myself or not be intimidated by crowds or certain people. I think this is why I hide in my imagination most of my time, even tho I may not be in complete control at times.

I feel stuck, I want companionship but I dread the idea of meeting new people or joining a crowd. I don't use any chat programs due to intimidation and fear of Someone Censoring what I speak. Sometimes the Fear of people is overshadowed by my ache for friends and sharing life and I make a effort to make a connection which usually shows me why to fear people.

Bleh just feeling mixed up today.

Anyone know of some good Art Memes?

I love this series, used to watch it before bed way way back when It aired.

OK So my plans for the near future are this.

Continue sketching and inking a pic a day in my book till finished.
Doing it in groups of 20 and changing subjects, First 20 was mostly my OCs and Pinup to get me moving again.
Next section which we are in 14 pages is Fanart, going a bit weird right now with the Zipper's Brood angle.
I have a plan tho, or at least a end goal coming soon.

Next 20 pages I haven't decided on, I'm teetering between Ferals or Weasels which is Ferals mostly but only Weasels and their kin.

For Digital art, I am still working on my Fanart list which has about half a dozen targets still to hit.

Once I get past that, the digital Fanart list that is I might be open to simple sketch requests as part of a new 20min Practice set.
An hour a day, 20mins per image series. Never can have enough practice if I want to keep focused and sharp.

Just thought I'd take a moment to mention I have a habit of going for out of the way Fanart topics.
I find several shows or movies reused over and over and don't want to be lost in the crowd so I have to go into the bushes and find other targets.

There is nothing wrong with loving specific characters, we all do have our favorites.
Sometimes tho, I just want to stand apart and find those lost Characters we have seen growing up but may have never given a thought at the time.

So don't be surprised if I go into odd areas like, Rubix Cube the cartoon or such lol.

I'll draw more mainstream stuff too, its in the Mix.
After the Chucklewood image is done, I'll be on to Gadget which is a bit more mainstream.

OK Class, Today we are going to discuss the topic of Art and what it means to you.
Creating art can be so many things from arranging rocks on a shore to sculpting a colossus.

But what does it meant to you? You the viewer and those who create, what is Art to you?

To me art is an expression of what we have inside, snapshots on how we see our world or wish it was.
Art is something to tell a story through and invoke a emotional response good or bad. Art should be
something that you almost have to create regardless of worldly status, its like writing on another level
in a primarily visual medium anyone can recognize. Making a profit on art is like the holy grail for artists
one which I have never seen unfortunately, I don't have that extroverted personality and would rather
hide in my art continuing my creation.

Art can be the sole escape at times for many myself included. Viewing others art also brings me joy but
at times also self inflicted bouts of self doubt. When comparing your own works to other farther along in
their skills or talents it can take the wind out of your sails. I have to stop and remember I can do it and more,
practice and effort will shine and my own worst critic is myself.


Sorry to go on but felt I should share too.

So tell us, What does Art mean to you?

Long ago when I was last active here before coming back, Kiriban awards or gifts to viewers who snapped that coveted screenshot of the page ticking over a set goal.

I haven't seen any journals mentioning such anymore, do people use them anymore?

I do see offers of free raffles but with conditions like watching or faving so many a week and such, what's up with that.

Random question time.

How would you see the Marketing for a Furry Universe?

I am going to guess, I see A lot of Grooming devices from flea combs to Electric Fur Dryers and endless Shampoos and Conditioners.
A whole section for Mange and Allergies, then there are the Anti-Parasitic creams or pills for all sorts of unwelcome guests.

Clothing would be minimal or very open to allow free movement without pulling fur or ease of putting the thing on.
Scents would be a big sale market, Furries even if stunted in scenting ability would still make a human seem blind so the market would cater to them.

Dating sites or groups would mostly be Species specific with a few open sites but they would be minimal compared to others especially once say Mating season came around.
Would Mating Habits or biology come into play? Like Aggression and Territoriality, would certain Furry species be dangerous during these times?
Medications and Designer Drugs tailored to a species may help some but it may be so bad some species would have to be more isolated.

Would Instinct take over and if so how would Marketing be targeted to it?

Like do you know if the Raspberry Pi can use a Wacom Tablet?

I know GIMP and a few other art programs work on it.
I'm curious if I can get a Art Tablet working on one.
