Why not Ott-ober?
Posted 4 years agoYes, October is nearly a week behind us, but I started to wonder, why do we have "ink-tober" and "cat-tober" but not "Ott-ober"?

There are certainly a lot of beautiful, adorable, and sexy otter characters made by all sorts of artists all across the internet; from Jay Naylor's Red, to Tsampikos's Mik, and even more out there, I'm sure, that could be featured all throughout the month. Don't get me wrong, I love cats! One of them is my primary character, but just thinking about the month of "October" (just change the "c" to a "t") makes me wonder why nobody came up with the idea before now.
Even for next year, this is a suggestion to all the great artists here that have an otter character and want them featured, say you want "Ottober" to happen next year and offer it as a slight change from this year's "Cat-tober".
Anyone think that's a good idea, or disagree, please post below, and why.
All I ask is that you be respectful.

1: What's your OCs favorite color? - Emerald Green, just like his eyes
2: Where does your OC work? - He is a slave to many, providing them with any assistance they might need.
3: What's your OCs favorite food? - Beef jerky (he gets that as a treat sometimes)
4: Does your OC prefer paper or plastic? - He has seen paper, but knows not this "plastic" with which you speak.
5: How old is your OC? - 16
6: Does your OC have any supernatural powers? - None that he knows about. He does, however, secrete pheromones that make him more accepted by those who feel any romantic/sexual feelings toward males, while those that don't usually get a low to mid-level feeling of annoyance by him. He also heals much faster than a normal human, and has super strength due to the fact that his father was a white weretiger and his mother was a succubus.
7: Is your OC in a relationship? - He's never in a relationship, but that's only because he doesn't know what a romantic entanglement means. For him, sex is just another service he offers on top of taking care of his owner.
8: What are some of your OCs strengths? - His kindness and willingness to help those that need it, regardless of whether they care about him or not.
9: What are some of your OCs weaknesses? - His kindness and willingness to help those that need it, regardless of whether they care about him or not.
10: What is your OCs favorite outfit? - Loincloth (two flaps of buttery soft leather that covers the front and back of his body, linked by a pair of steel rings.
11: What is your OCs spirit animal? - He doesn't have a spirit animal.
12: Is your OC sexually active? - Absolutely
13: What is your OCs earliest memory? - His mother's face as she sold him into slavery at the age of 6. He couldn't understand why she was crying since she told him this would be his life.
14: Does your OC have a cell phone? If so, what kind? - He doesn't have a cell phone since they don't exist in a medieval fantasy world.
15: What makes your OC angry? - Failure to live up to the standards he has set for himself.
16: When is your OCs favorite time of year? - He loves the winter months, and getting a chance to bound around in the snow. It's one of the only times his inner kitten comes out.

18: What kind of underwear does your OC wear? - None. He only wears a loincloth.
19: Does your OC prefer plaid or polka dots? - He has seen plaid (kilts) but doesn't know anything about polka dots (although he would love that more if he ever saw the design).
