Lousy Day + Paypal Report
Posted 5 years agoToday has been a day and it’s only 11am!
Slept terrible, what sleep I did get was full of nightmares. I’m worried over my 16 1/2 year old kitty who was recently diagnosed with lymphoma cancer. She’s doing well on medication right now but I’m scared I’m in the “eye of the storm” so to speak. Then a close friend of mine, her kitty who isn’t even a year old is very sick too. He needs a colonoscopy and the bill estimate is enormous.
I’ve been trying to stay busy with work and organizing all my art and current purchased commissions. I’m sadly going through PayPal right now to try and get a refund for one of them. I hate doing so, but the piece is late and communication with the artist has been very unprofessional. It’s only after a refund had been requested that they want to rush and do the piece. After saying I want the commission canceled it’s suddenly “finished” but they said they will only show me it “later” I’m worried they are simply stalling for time when I just want my money back. I don’t want a rushed and messy Halloween art. If they are speaking the truth that the unwanted piece is finished I will probably have to cancel the paypal claim and unhappily accept it’s just another loss though. Not much more I can do besides never purchase from them again no matter how beautiful their art usually is.
It’s just the stress of all the small and a few big things piling up. Apologizes I needed to rant and this is the only place that will really understand that I am comfortable with. 😞

Posted 5 years agoI've been very inactive for a couple of years, and to boot at the beginning of this year my old laptop died on me. But I finally have a new one that's up and running! During my time away I still purchased quite a few commissions so I plan on lots of updating for this account. My DA I will probably leave untouched for awhile yet though. Thank you in advance to everyone who has kept me on their watch list this entire time! As well as new watchers!

Posted 8 years agoAss muncher for being angry that PWYW's are being offered and completed ahead of my commission when the expected due date for my single piece has been passed? I don't think I am.
I get you need to make quick money sometimes BUT there is a limit to how far you can push back a late commission.
There should not be a shit ton of PWYW art paid yesterday, finished today, when I am waiting on a commission from 3 months ago!!! This has been happening more and more frequently and by respected artists I never would have suspected. These are not your 10 piece gallery new user trying to scam. These are 10000+ watched artists that hardly anyone will speak out against because rightfully so, you are afraid to be harassed by their fans.I apologize for all the cursing but this is the shit that makes me demand refunds. I love the art that I have purchased, but if you prove yourself to be irresponsible with deadlines and your queue, it is no longer worth it!Rant About Queues

If you are busy with life, are moving, are sick, are in a depressed slump- I get it!Just Keep Me UPDATEDI should not have to stalk your profile when I see in my notifications that you are offering trades/gifts and finishing other peoples work before my own that paid AFTER ME! This is not elementary/middle school where little assholes can butt in front without being noticed. Or should I say they are noticed but the teachers turn a blind eye because they don't care.This rant is in general, as well as to a few people I have commissioned, past and current.
Don't be that unprofessional teacher. I know you have noticed when your own damn queue is out of order!I hate pestering and noting about the same thing over and over. But I only do when I haven't heard anything in 2 weeks or more, and when I see you are hopping about your queue. Unless you tell me in advance my commissions will take awhile, or that you don't follow the respected First Come First Served rule, don't expect me or others for that matter to commission you a second/third time. No matter how good your art is.Clarification

HoursAll because two kind users decided to harass me about my NSFW deviations.
I had them all under Mature Content!!!Apparently the ONLY mature content allowed is medical diagrams and such.
Said so in the fine print. So the users reporting me had the right. Only, no one besides them has ever complained in the 6 years I've been on DA. So yeah, I'm still very angry. And tired.So for my friends also on DA, please be aware of people like this. Note me if you'd like to know who exactly harassed me...Moving Everything From My Da To Here
Posted 9 years agoSome lovely 'by the book' users on Devientart have decided to spam report all of my NSFW submissions to the admins even though it is all listed under Mature Content. Apparently in tiny itty bitty fine print, rules state the Mature Content tag is only meant for medical submissions, not "Furry peens" as the users put it. I'm now risking being suspended or worse so now I have to rush and transfer everything or risk loss of art, contacts, and such.
I'm sorry to my watchers, but get ready for 70+ submissions!
