Monthly Update!
Posted 2 years agoWow! ...working Retail sucks! Wal-mart really do be throwing their employees to the wolves. No shadowing and different supervisors doing things differently. 3/6 Supervisors actually do work along with the rest of us.. the others just run laps and tells everyone to go faster. 1 of em actually orders us around like troops to clear Aisles as a team.. which gets EVERYTHING done super early. the rest just pin you to a Aisle to tackle by yourself without rime to how many pallets you might be sitting on.
...but I digress...
Picked up 1 new commission from a Local (Literally one town over) for dog food.
but completed about 6 commissions last month with exhaustion and work related injuries getting in the way. (Being shackled to a desk for 3-4 years really hurts your body in doing labor). I still have about 35 clients left to finish their commission work as well as the upcoming patreon bulk to work on next month. With the new assembly line method it's proving good with the 3-4 hours I have a day before work starts. Got 8 commissions lined up and hope to take em down this week. Only really have 1 day off to myself now... BUT I WILL PERCERVIER!
Personal wise... I'm just trying to stabilize my sleep schedule and saying no to bigger portion sizes. Got a credit line about to be finished for my ORGIN PC, so i'm happy. That just leaves AMEX to be dealt with. I plan to save up for a cheap rowing machine to work off alot of this work related stress fat I built up since 08.

Posted 3 years agoI plan to cut through as many YCH's on the queue as possible. as well as post up enough new YCH's to keep me a float going into march.
$600 x2...err that's gonna run me at least 20 New YCH's to make.
But hopefully this week I get less people barging in my door giving me side quests to go do things with them.
I'll be making one more LAST CALL on commission slots before closing up and keeping limited commissions to about 4-6 a month(Or less even).

Posted 3 years agoGuess Amazon sunk me under -$180.. with their monthly charge. But AMEX seems to have taken the cash from the transfer. Which leaves me a little bit of cash for lunch money but I rather nip this in the bud. Gonna make 2 sets of YCH's today as I still need to scrounge up cash for monthly bills.

Pets: Ok, so first thing that hit me when returning home was that Adi did get alot of hotspot action in her under arms again and happy I'm home. She kinda stopped eating while I was gone so she's lost alot of weight. Separation anxiety is a bitch on dogs. Cat's treated my like a stranger and are all acting normally. Bedroom cleaned while I was gone.
Bills: Before our departure my bro downloaded a butt ton of Black Friday deals and hitting the Data cap so they charged us a Extra hundo.... soooOOOoo that happened. Still need to buy a modem and upgrade to a bigger package, ours is like 7 years old.
Work Tables: Setting myself to have mon-weds off and devoting Thur-Sun for art and aiming for a high output again. no more lollygagging and just barreling through.
Convention: Failed to get in due to not completing my shots. Will need to remedy it next year with more preparation time. Honestly I was gonna skip it this year until I saw a majority of my circle of friends was gonna show up and rushed to acquire the funds to go. Met Klaus, Boris and PurplePardus and met a few more chums too. We hung out on the last day of the con in the Hyatt and had a nice sketch session with each other.
Chicago/Schaumburg Hotel: It stayed a great near constant 40 degrees and we packed due to weather sites saying it had snow and rain expected.. even bought a new winter jacket. Next time I'm only packing a weeks worth of clothes cause the hotel had a on site laundromat. The Springhill Suites.....was umm unexpected as I usually stay in a Fairfield Suites. Their suites are FAR larger and spacious than Fairfields. Easy to get around when there is even a sofa bed extended. as for the location it was great.. strip mall heaven with a huge mall just a 20 min walk away. Kura's conveyor belt sushi was fresh and had ...can i say Al dente rice.. anyways.. great spots. Tried shake shake.. it was meh, bland. BUT SMASHBURGER ...oph that place was revisited twice.. they actually season the patties and taste like a good backyard burger. Tried Shabu Shabu and it was great but pricey.. didn't know the crab was all you can eat till the end of the hour and a half eating session. Medieval times was fun, food was okay but I did like the swordplay.. "LOOK AT THE SPARKS, PLANK!" Downtown Chicago was neat but needed to uber to many locations as our desired location were pretty far from each other. If you are looking to buy fairly priced Asian imports just go to the online store called Yami.. paying $1.50 for 2 little KitKat it's outrageous. Finally got to try Peking duck. flavor is alright. juicy, ...needs tortillas... Also booking.com is weird.. keeps fumbling transactions and doesn't outright charge you the money.
other than that was a okay vacation.

Posted 3 years agoI got mild burnout... Been trying to get my motor revving the last few days but I keep staring at a blank canvas. I know I shouldn't force it but i'm gonna try and do some musical therapy to get my inspiration and morale going. Last time I sat in the dark for 3 hours listening to music till I could start self-hyping myself with mental music videos starring my oc's.
