My mom is an amazing person. She's always given a lot to receive little. And recently she informed me that she is going to be refinancing our house, taking any value she has and is using it to pay for my brother and I's private student loans. IN FULL. I cannot express to you guys how amazing this is. My mom never went to college so needless to say she doesn't make a lot and she is giving up any chance of retirement money to ensure my brother and I are not in crippling debt when we graduate. She raised us as a single mother of three and worked her ass off to make sure we were healthy and happy. My mom is currently working two jobs in order to pay for everything we need. And not only this, she also lost her best friend from high school last month, so this holiday is going to be very hard on her.
This being said, I want to get my mom gifts that she deserves this Christmas. I want to spoil her.
My goal is at least $150.00 to be spent on her and only her. I have never been able to spoil my mom on Christmas and this is the year I think she needs it the most.
