Just finished some last minute fursuit building for a walrus friend. Tig will be bringing her red panda character Harp who is perpetually stuck in the 1920's, so he will feel right at home with this year's theme.
Be sure to catch my Fursuit Character Development and Improv panel on Friday, 3-4pm, Westin Allegheny room.
I will be taking pictures throughout the convention when I am not fursuiting. Make sure you are following me on Twitter for updates!

Furthemore 2016 Summary
General | Posted 9 years agoA little bit late but wanted to do a quick summary of some of my highlights from Furthemore 2016. Overall it was a great experience and the perfect size con to chill with friends and get plenty of fursuit romps in!
Highlights included:

Sandi wearing the Cricket deer fursuit and her wearing my Cheesebeagle on Friday evening. We had 
Sharky fooled during the Charades panel. It was also fun to watch people interact with my character when I was standing next to me! The look on 
IndigoAngelCat 's face when she hugged me but realized I was too short was priceless! Also, I had fun wiggling my short stubby tail as a deer, and am totally stoked for building a goat fursuit next. Cheesegoat!

- On Saturday, my friends convinced me to join them for my first Chimera Challenge. I've seen the results of challenges before but really never knew/appreciated what really was involved. 2 hours went by in no time and we were working with limited hot glue and scraps of material to create a character. The result was Snu-Snu, our one-eyed illegitimate love child ( https://flic.kr/p/G5EUMf ). To top it off, Snu-Snu was announced as being the winner of the challenge and even made it through a round of fursuit games! If you knew how little glue was holding this together, you would be like me and wonder how on earth it lasted. We love you Snu-Snu!
- Getting tin-type pictures taken by the talented
velantian, who not only took pictures of our normal characters ( https://flic.kr/p/G5Fj2G ), was also kind enough to take pictures of Snu-Snu in all its glory ( https://flic.kr/p/FNJ9Xh )
One thing I would like to say about the convention was I was really appreciative of every single person that said hello to me, romped with me, or hugged me. When I swapped suits with Sandi, she was impressed how many times people called my name (I kept turning but had to remember that she had to hug people instead of me since I was a deer at the time. lol). Being the short little kid in school that struggled to make friends growing up, it means a lot to me to know all you great furs. Thank you.

2016 - When did that happen?

I will be at Furthermore and Anthrocon this year. I will be in more local VA and MD events. I may go down for Fursonacon in VA Beach.
And that should bring me to about 2017.

The Plan for the Cheese this Summer
General | Posted 10 years agoSo Furthemore was awesome. It was the right-size con that was both fun and relaxing. Everyone I met and saw there were awesome!
Next up, Anthrocon. Woo!
Between now and Anthrocon, I am going to be pretty busy if everything works out with our first home that we are trying to buy. No more apartments for us, I hope, so keep your fingers crossed for us!
Once we are settled and after Anthrocon, we will try hosting some events for local furs to build fursuits and do old school gaming.
Also, you will see me move pictures not related to my Cheesebeagle character to my scraps, and all pictures I take from conventions of other fursuits will live on my Flickr account from now on. https://www.flickr.com/photos/121616101@N02/

I live 5 minutes from the hotel but I will have a room there as a backup and for changing.

I should be there all weekend, Fri-Sun

Friday: I plan to be at the con all day. 8pm I am teaching the Fursuit Character Development and Improvisation panel. You should really go. It's fun for new fursuiters, future fursuiters, fursuiters, or even people that have attended the class before. It will be fun. I promise.

Furthemore Recap
General | Posted 11 years agoSo I would say Furthemore was a success. It was a good size convention that had lots of great people, panels, and activities.
I got to do a slow dance with my wonderful wife Tigris (our first convention being married!) and do more fast paced dances late night. I got to teach people about character development and improvisation in my panel. I learned how to juggle better in a juggling panel, with aspirations to one day do juggle in fursuit (oneday!). I got to take some pictures with my 45 year old Polaroid camera, that I will be posting soon along with my pictures from my cellphone. I got to witness Skippyfox propose to his now fiance Brie on stage and in fursuit prior to the parade, and they are a lovely couple. I also got to do the parade, which felt great when we went outside thanks to cool temperatures and and awesome breeze (felt great in a fursuit at least). My cheeseburger pounced and attempted to eat several innocent bystanders. Finally, I really enjoyed the fursuit games, and was really excited to watch Tigris almost win musical chairs!
In between, I got to hang out with awesome friends like Leo, Royce, Sharky, meet old friends like Protius and Greysoul, and make tons of new friends like Trig17, Transyr, Cobalt, and Suka. Thank you to EVERYONE for making it an awesome weekend. I will post what pics I have throughout the week.

So life is moving pretty quickly and I hope to get more beagle fursuit pictures up and more videos. Time will be pretty tight during the holidays but hopefully you will see the Cheese re-emerge in January.
I do plan on being at Furthemore (FTW) and Anthrocon '14. Beyond that, we'll have to see but I would love to squeeze another convention in.

School's Out Forever
General | Posted 12 years agoFinished my last assignment of my collegiate career. Grad school is over! I get my grades on Friday so hopefully it is really over!
So the weird thing is going to be having free time again. What is this thing you call "free time"? Is it made of jello? Does it smell like bacon? Is it bacon flavored jello???
I think it's going to be time to get Cheesebeagle going again. Look for some activity this summer, hopefully to include videos and pictures and who knows what.

The Cheese is Still Good
General | Posted 13 years agoYes, I am still alive. Life has been busy lately but I hope to bring the cheese character out more starting this summer. I am going into my last semester of graduate school and cannot wait to be free from school fo-evah! In the mean time I will try to post up some pics and updates from time to time. Also, I will be at Anthrocon again this year, and will likely be in the Masquerade again and doing another panel about fursuit performance.
I *may* make an appearance at the Baltimore convention for a day, but that will be depend on my workload in school.

I would say that we still have power, but the second I do that the lights will go out. So I will let you figure out if I have power or not in order not to anger Sandy Storm.
