So as some of you may or may not know , back on the 6th of this month I was involved in a hit and run while on a motorcycle here in Jacksonville, and as that state, the person who slammed into me took off to avoid responsibility and criminal charges. Sadly because of that, and a subsequent trip to the hospital with out any insurance , the bills are starting to rack up fairly quickly. By the prodding of a few friends both here and elsewhere I've set up a GoFundMe campaign. It can be found here -> https://www.gofundme.com/f/kun4da-hit-and-run . I know money is tight for just about everyone these days, so more than anything I'm asking if you all can help spread the word, and possibly help me get some attention to the campaign. It's already made it to just under 19% of it's goal with your help already. But sadly each day the ER Bills have continued to come in. I want to thank you so much for even reading this far, and any help with supporting or spreading the word you're considering, thank you in advance. Posted 6 years agoCurrently two portfolios in the works from IronPotato.. One with Jim and Felicity, and the mythical never ever finished "Grin n Bear it" with Jim and Lana... This question goes more so for the Jim and Lana portfolio.. Would any of you be interested in a "Collectors Edition" that came with a Svetlana Figure? It's not going to be cheap sadly.. Likely up in the $250 range but I'd not do more than 10. The Figure would come with A physical and digital edition of the portfolio and the cover would be hand numbered and signed.

Posted 6 years agoWe'll be at Texas Furry Fiesta 2019, We'll be in the dealers room at Table 5 as "Laser Cheetah LLC" Doing all the custom laser stuff , plus yakking it up about the comic and what not. Also going to have BizyMouse with me who'll have some absolutely awesome Statues for sale of some really cute critters some in..... very questionable positions LOL...Come by, say "Hi!" , keep up the tradition and atleast one of you bringing me a gun part to engrave.... I friggen went to a gun show here in Jacksonville... didn't engrave one gun.. I go to furry con's and I've engraved gun parts at EVERY DAMN ONE OF THEM... lol... Some for the actually con chairs... So come by and make my 15+ hour drive work it.. :) See you all soon.

Posted 7 years agoThe servers will be getting shut down in preparation to move from our Data Centers Old Location, to its new location, expected shut down time is just before 9am Eastern Time, January 30th (so tomorrow) Down time should be no more than 1 to 2 hours. If when they come back online anything isn't working properly please let me know.

Posted 7 years agoI want to thank everyone for stepping up to the plate and helping support the sites that we host, and helping keep the servers up and running. I'd like to invite everyone to join our discord server at https://discord.gg/jjYvmR8 , We've made contact with a few people who would like to assist us in continuing to develop the site to be more up to date, and have substantially more usability. We're still quite a ways from digging ourselves out of our hole, but I wanted to thank everyone again. With the recent news of what Tumblr and likely other sites of it's kind are starting to do, I'd also like to offer a place for those of you needing a new home to come and dig in some roots. If you or someone you know or follow will be effected , please send them our way. I guess the best method would be out discord server for the time being. I've tried asking really nicely, I've tried offering up services so it's not something for nothing.. I've tried begging... The machines to run the site, and the collocation of said machines, run right around $400 a month.. Add on top of that the tons of other ancillary bills, and the fact that since January when we had out issues this has all just been gathering on a credit card, which is basically now maxed at nearly $17,000 and has a minimum payment as high as the regular monthly server bill.... I can't do it anymore.. I mean , there is absolutely ZERO support... None... none what so ever... I don't know what else to say anymore... It'd take like, $20,000 just to get us out of the hole we've dug... Feel free to contact me at cheetah[at]jabarchives.com if you're some well to do individual that wants to save all of this.. lol I honestly didn't think it'd end this was after 20+ years... I'll do my best to keep it up.. but that's what I've been doing since January.. and well.. I don't know how much longer I can. Please do share this as I know very few people read journals.

So we finally got the bulk of http://www.lasercheetah.com up and functional, I have the store set up as well (Square and Paypal So Virtually any payment method) But it's not live on the site cause it currently has nothing in it. Would you the readers, and my followers etc etc , be interested in Limited Edition Flasks, Zippo's , Glass Sets, or something of the like? We're pretty much able to make anything now between the two lasers. Check out the slide show on the main page so see some examples! Honestly, Times are ridiculously tough over here in CnC/TJA Land , so If there's something you'd like to see, let me know. If there's something we can make,mark,engrave, or just shoot with a laser for you PLEASE Don't be afraid to ask!

So I've set up an account for the sites at https://www.patreon.com/tjapalsupport I've set just 2 goals which will let you all know where we stand as we can move forward. If we can simply reach and maintain the first we'll at least remain around for as long as your all would like us to!

Normally I’m a silent voice behind all of this, and for 23 years I’ve brought all of the things on these pages to you all for free. I’ve loved doing so. Back in 2003 I started working with Palcomix , BBMBBF has become a fantastic friend of mine. We started collaborating to release a CD to help fund the site and it worked well. We subsequently released a few more. Obviously, the era of physical media has ended, so we’ve gone to mostly digital distribution, and mostly through the mobiusunleashed.com website. With recent events we had to change our payment processor, and therefore, we’ve lost the store on Jabarchives.com till I can move us over to Opencart which is compatible with Verotel our new payment processor. In the same time membership to the mobius site has dropped over 45% in the last 3 months. This is the site that pretty much pay for EVERYTHING you all enjoy on the sites we host. Be it jabarchives.com, Palcomix.com, the numerous comics we host such as cats n cameras, monster under the bed, and a few more, as well as other free sites that bring you all a lot of enjoyment. To do this all takes a lot of hours and power, Between colocation of our rack equipment to just the man hours of keeping it all up, as well as Paying the pal team of artists to continue to produce artwork as they do (it’s their living as well) . We really need your support to keep all of this going. I’ve spent more than half of my life keeping these sites up since 1995, I’d rather not lose them now. So if you really do appreciate what we bring you, your support on Mobiusunleashed.com as a member, or even contributions if you feel you can, would be greatly appreciated. I’m working very hard to bring up another site lasercheetah.com that will be offering TONS of custom laser engraved items for you, with ANY artwork you choose. Posted 8 years agoI appreciate all the support and comments also know that the comment I refer to in the journal was just the straw that broke the camels back. A million little things can add up over time.. Like I posted on Patreon to my few supporters who actually keep the strip able to continue, I'll work my way through this chapter which has...plenty long to go, and we'll see from there. I VERY MUCH enjoy doing CnC, I have a lot of fun silly stuff planned for the new few months. Even animations for those paying attention. I just.. I know a lot of you are introverted, but when MOST of the people who like the strip stay silent , the majority of the angry squeaky wheels get all of the attention . When each week is either some sort of English or spelling correction, or some slam at monkey cheese it just gets old VERY FAST... Someone suggested removing the past journal, I don't see a point in that. It said what it had to say, Though I did go back and fix the gigantic run on sentence my phone made it into.. Love you all thanks for the support and LOOK PORN *points opposite direction and leaps behind the dumpster* I AM CATMAN!

There’s nothing I can do about it, I don’t feel like dealing with it, I’m sick of nothing but negative and bad comments so I’m not gonna continue it anymore. The people who I owe money to I’ll find ways to repay you somehow. Cause I just don’t have it. Till then have a great year.. the last comment on the post for 373 sealed it **. ( no need for the link anymore ) You’d all be happier with no comic than this so you all win.

I've been moving ahead with serious resources into making our presence at both trade shows and conventions a much larger reality. We're about to invest heavily in to our laser engraving / cutting business as well as 3D Holographic Screen elements that will allow us to display work from the ever growing 3D modeller talent that all of you are starting to see, in a way that doesn't need any optical assistance (more on that another time) But in either case we're also having a fully rigged and animated Sarina Doyle created as she's become more than anything else a truly recognizable part of TJA/CnC and our business in general. What she needs now is a voice and here is were I ask you all for what some of you do best, and that's give just that to our lovely Cheetah girl. Some people have made the comment they think Sari sounds a lot like the Actress that plays Tank Girl and Kit from a league of their own, however, I'd love to hear your take. If you're looking for a dialog example please by all means go to catsncameras.com and pick a line or page or what ever you feel is what you'd like to do and let us hear what you think Sarina sounds like. I look forward to hearing what you all have to say, and I look forward to a fun and hopefully prosperous business relationship with whom ever is the best of the best! And how they will no longer lump pledges together but charge you a fee for each and every creator you are a patreon of.. CnC's lost 10% of it's supporters over night! Ahh I love changes that make no sense.. I'd rather eat a few fee's then lose the people who've supported me over 75 cents...

Random Angry Comment...
Posted 8 years agoHad someone write a comment on the CnC Comic page today berating me for including a character cameo in the strip, telling me how they'll never read it again because they don't like the player behind the character.. Lemme set this straight. I don't take personal interest in the PEOPLE behind the character. I don't personally know (most) of any of the people who have payed for a cameo in this chapter of the comic. I don't personally judge ANYONE who's paid for a cameo as that's bad business, and quite honestly would be pretty disrespectful of me to do so. I don't know your personal qualms with people, it's also not my responsibility to do so . Please don't attempt to drag me into your own personal drama with someone because their character was included in the strip. If you don't want to read it anymore that's find, noone's holding a gun to your head and making you. But I don't need to be involved with your personal dilema's or quarrels. I don't know if that person reads journals on fa/ink bunny/twitter/or facebook, but this is all I have to say. I also emailed them explaining that I simply scripted a cameo , I don't know the player. I hope you are able to get over your differences with who ever.

I was hoping some of you out there might be up to a few guest strips , or what not, and stick you up for the world to see on the CnC strip for that week/weeks.
