Seeking more characters for Macrovision
Posted 5 years agoI've added quite a few people to Macrovision, but I could still use more.
If you're like one or more of your characters to be included, fill out this form!
I could especially do with some more micros, but more norms and macros are obviously appreciated as well.
Edit - I added a form! Should be more organized than just firing notes around.

Looking for animators to work with
Posted 5 years agoI've been doing sounds for a bunch of vore animations as of late (you can find all of them in my Telegram channel). It's been quite fun, and I'm on the lookout for more folks to work with.
If you do vore animations, or know someone who does and might be interested, please let me know! I'm mostly doing these as gifts, since they're quick to do and pretty spontaneous.

Game Recap
Posted 6 years agoI've been doing a bunch of mucking around with my webserver, and I think things are getting into a good state to share now.
So, I've got four text games in varying states of completion: Stroll, Feast, Gorge, and Satiate.
Stroll has received the most attention. It's a macro/vore procedural text game.
Feast was created as a vore RPG, but wound up becoming a text adventure. I have plans to rebuild it with a focus on the original RPG mechanics.
I haven't really talked about Gorge yet. It's a clicker game, but is still very early in development. It's also, obviously, very vore-themed.
Satiate is a text adventure engine that supports sound, which I've used to create some vorish (and noisy) content.
All four of them can be found here:
crux.sexy
You'll find that there's an age-gate on the site now! I figured it'd be good to give people a heads-up about the content before hitting them in the face with high-intensity vore audio. All of the old links on my chemicalcrux.org site now redirect to the new domain.
I'm also considering hosting all of my audio on that site, as well as all of the commissioned art of Fen I've got. Not there yet, though...
Anyway, if you're interested in any of the games, do check out the Discord server - you can find out more about them there.

Nay, society itself has peaked. It's all downhill from here.

End-of-Year Update!
Posted 7 years agomerr crimbo
I've done some house-keeping! The Discord server I run for my two games, Stroll and Feast, is expanding to include my audio work. If you're interested in hearing WIPs of upcoming projects or just want to hear about everything I'm working on, check it out here!.
I do a decent bit of work that isn't posted here, particularly when working on other people's animations.
Beyond that, there's not too much to screech about. I'm recording some fresh sounds and trying some fresh things, so I should have some nice content going into 2019. Hope y'all continue to enjoy~!

Turning 23, and some musings
Posted 7 years agoI've completed my 23rd revolution around the sun! Mandatory celebrations are ensuing.
You might've noticed that this account continues to be very quiet. I've been a little busy with my graduate work, but I've still had plenty of free time - so what gives?
Ultimately, I think I've decided that I'm just not cut out for general commission work right now. I have a few outstanding pieces (commissioned by very patient people!) that I've been prodding and poking at for quite some time now. I've found it simultaneously hard to work on that work, and hard to work on other work while paid commissions are left unfinished. The end result has been a completely unacceptable delay for my commissioners, as well as a general drought of content.
So, with that in mind, I'm going to suspend public commissioned work for the foreseeable future, and also offer refunds for anyone who I have outstanding work for, in full. If commissioners are still interested in my work, then I'll hang on to the in-progress drafts for when I eventually get back to work.
With that in mind, I'll also be devoting more attention to my pet projects. Stroll and Feast both need love, and I have a third browser game cooking somewhere in the background as well - more on that later. I'm also going to explore returning to audio work.
There's a lot that I want to do, and I'm hoping that sorting out this lingering mess I've made for myself will help me to bloody well do it. Stay tuned - if all goes well, there'll be some fresh content before long.

Stroll Survey
Posted 7 years agoFirst of all, thank you all for the comments and favs on Stroll! It's great to see people playing and enjoying the game.
I've put together a survey about the game here, and I'd like you to fill it out if you're interested in the game. It asks a few questions about general content, design, and so forth.
I'd like to gauge what people are interested in and what they're not, so I can better focus my efforts on further improving the game.
Thanks!

Where the hell is Fen?
Posted 8 years agoAs you can probably tell from the state of my gallery, I fell off the edge of the earth for a bit there!
I've been very much busy with graduate school, which has been draining much of my energy. I've been struggling to focus on commission work, and only partially motivated to do anything with audio alone.
For that reason, I'm putting Patreon plans on hold; I don't think a rigorous monthly schedule is going to be suitable for me right now. If and when things get rolling again, I'll consider it - but no promises there for now.
With that said, I have been doing some work to try and get those creative juices flowing again:
multimagyar and I have been collaborating to add sound to some of his excellent Flash vore animations. The four I've contributed sound to are:
Chilly Snack (dragon vore)
Frozen Treat (dragon vore)
Failed Stealth (zoroark vore)
Sanctuary of Growth (lopunny vore)
hiddenv1 and I have also been working together. I've done sound for three of their 3D animations:
Reshiram Boss Battle (hard pokemon vore)
Ixof Boss Battle (wolf vore)
Reshiram/Glaceon Vore Animation (pokemon vore)
I figured I should organize these somewhere. I'll update this list as I poke at new stuff.
I have two audio POVs that are almost finished, but need transcripts and final polishing before they're up. Y'all should see one by tomorrow!

Grad school crux
Posted 8 years agoHey all, just figured I'd give a quick status update. I'm starting grad school in around two weeks, so my free time is about to take a nosedive. With that in mind:
* I'll still be doing commission work, but only taking one slot at a time
* My current commission queue should be mostly emptied out by August 20th, focusing first on audio (writing can be taken care of without my desktop!)
* I'm going to be less active online in general. If you want to get in touch, hit me up on Telegram or via FA note - I can't promise I'll get back to you quickly, but I should do so eventually!
If everything goes well, I'll be a grad student for at least five years. I'm hoping to work out a good schedule that lets me create plenty of content whilst still putting the necessary time into my studies.
Cheers, y'all - and look forward to some new sounds coming soon!

July Commissions Picked
Posted 8 years agoSlots finally closed! I'd already worked out what I'm doing, but never got around to posting a status. I'll be getting in contact with everyone who's been picked shortly.
Other things coming up include June's Patreon story (wrapping up, posted tomorrow for Patreon supporters and a week later on FA) and an audio commission for
ticklefishmcgee (practically done, but needs tweaking; expect that by the 5th).

Commission Slots Open
Posted 8 years agoMy audio queue is emptying out, and I'm making good headway on my writing, so I'll be opening a few of each kind of slot!
Commission Form
I'm going to experiment with taking on a larger workload than before, and then splitting my time between them. Therefore, I'm offering four audio slots and three writing slots.
Just like last time, these are not first-come-first-serve. I'll close the form in around 3-5 days, depending on how much of a response I get, and announce which ideas were picked then.
EDIT(of an edit): I just noticed this - the written terms haven't yet been updated. I've changed my price from 1 cent / word to 1.2 cents/word, which means that my new rate is $6/500 words. I'll have that corrected shortly. Thanks!
A big thank you to my first three Patreon supporters:
aeznon,
ticklefishmcgee, and
ultramunky! I greatly appreciate the support.

Back in the Swing of Things + Patreon Announcement
Posted 8 years agoI've successfully made it out of college after four years of grueling dual-degree courses, so I have a bit of a quiet summer ahead of me. There should be a fair bit of fresh content coming your way in the coming months.
In light of that, I'd like to announce that I've set up a Patreon. Check it out for snippets of in-progress audio and stories, as well as opportunities to vote on the subject of monthly short stories. If my foray into digital art works out, you'll probably see sketches on there as well!
I don't intend to make Patreon a paywall. Some of the drafts I share might never make it into full pieces, but all of my finished work will still be going on FA as usual.
Give me a shout if you have any questions, and enjoy the show.

Slots picked, and some general news
Posted 8 years agoNext two audio comms will be for
APaperPorcupine and
ticklefishmcgee! Expect to see 'em in a few weeks. I'll open for another batch then, unless I get tied up by graduation.
...so speaking of which, I'm graduating from college in a month and a little bit. I'll be journeying onward to grad school afterwards, which may upturn my free time and significantly curtail the time I have to work on furry smut.
With that said, I will be pretty available over the summer, so do expect to see lots of content in the meantime! Until graduation, though, I will likely become increasingly busy, and might not always be available.

Update on Commissions + Streams + Animation Commissions?
Posted 8 years agoMy audio queue is now clear, so I'm going to be taking on two audio commissions, rather than one. I'll be making decisions on who I'm picking sometime tonight or tomorrow - don't despair if you don't get a spot; you'll have higher priority if you ask again next time I open 'em.
You can find my commission terms and prices here
I'm going to be starting to do some livestreams. They'll be either audio or 3D.
Audio streams will be me working on some sounds - generally without a mic, and with very quiet music playing. Hop in if you're interested in the process.
3D streams will be me practicing rigging/animation - might also be doing some modeling, but right now, I'm working with ones I've been provided. I'll have the mic on and music playing.
I'll post a submission whenever I'm online. Feel free to drop in and ask questions! Streams will be on picarto.
As I mentioned, I've been practicing working with Blender. If things pan out well, I may wind up opening for commissions to create 3D animations. I'm still a novice at modeling, so you'll need a 3D model to work with. This is still up in the air, so stay tuned for now!

Audio Commission Slot Open
Posted 8 years agoHey y'all. Just about to wrap up the last of my audio commission work in the queue, so I'll be opening up a slot.
Send me a note if you're interested, and include a rough description of what you'd like - I will go over the requests in a few days and pick the one that seems the most interesting!
No writing slots right now, though. I've got plenty on my plate at the moment!

Due to overwhelming demand...
Posted 8 years ago...RP commissions will have to be put on hold until a future date.
Happy Fool's Day :)
I've been quite busy with college - getting close to graduation - so I haven't been cooking too much up as of late. I am currently working on written commissions, though, so keep an eye out for some of those in the near future!

Opening for Written Commissions
Posted 8 years agoHello there. I've decided to start offering commissions for written work.
You can find the full details at my website, right here (EDIT: The server turned off as soon as I left college, whoops. I'll have it back up soon)
In summary: $5 + $0.01/word. I'm currently offering only short stories, with a length of < 5000 words.
If you're interested, send me a note here on FA! You can see an example of what to expect here.
As for audio, I'm not opening anything just yet - but do keep an eye out if you're interested (:

Belated Update + FN Account
Posted 9 years agoHey y'all
Turns out I'm pretty bad at writing journals. Only a few months late!
I've been doing reasonably well, although I've been just busy enough to keep from engaging too much with this site. I've got a few audio projects in the works, and some writings to go along with them, but I'm still not sure of where I'll be standing in a month or two.
Also, I've created an account on Furry Network, and have uploaded (almost) all of my commissioned art there. Check it out here!
https://beta.furrynetwork.com/chemicalcrux/
If you'd like to get in contact with me for whatever reason, I'm very active on Telegram
https://telegram.me/chemicalcrux
Cheers!

MFF MFF MFF MFF MFF also hi folks
Posted 10 years agoYes! Last second journal here, since I've been so quiet on FA as of late.
I'm gonna' be at MFF from Friday-Sunday, staying in the Hyatt with three local friends. Will probably be going for gratuitous macro fursuit photos with a wide-angle lens and eating all of you cute things.
I've got some audio stuff cookin' as well. Might work on it during the con if I have some downtime :3
More after the con!

STATUS REPORT
Posted 11 years agoWell, that took longer than expected.
Yes, I am alive! I've been a bit occupied for the past few months, first by a general inability to do anything remotely useful (summer vacation ate my work ethic) and then by the onset of sophomore year in college. The second year is what separates the wheat from the chaff, so I've been spending a fair bit of time on my schooling.
I have not been working on audio as of late, unfortunately. I'm current stymied by repetition- it's all blending together into an uninteresting mass. For that reason, I'm going to be taking some time to practice new techniques (ever heard of a head-related transfer function?) and record some new samples which, in theory, will lead to higher quality than before. My apologies go out to those who've been waiting on me for this long- if you're still interested, get back in touch with me and, once I'm back at work, I'll get cracking on 'em.
I'll be posting a backlog of art over the next few weeks, too. Might get a piece up tonight if I'm inspired (and not too busy studying the mechanics of alkene additions, which I can assure you are fascinating).
Other than that, there's not too much to mention at the moment. I will likely be posting a follow-up journal in a few days, however, as I have a few ideas that aren't quite fully baked just yet.
