I've really been feeling this sona so much that it really feels like more of a permanent sona that another of my oc's.

Don't get me wrong, Cherri is me through and through. But I think Fleecia is too. So I'm making Fleecia my "co-sona", as it were. Not quite me as much as Cherri, but very close.

My dad has been having trouble getting around since October. It got progressively worse to the point where he couldn't get up from a sitting position or stand on his own.

I had to get an ambulance for him and take him to the emergency room. Long story short is that he has a huge tumor in his lower abdomen that is very likely aggressive cancer. They're doing a biopsy on Monday or Tuesday.

Add to this that I'm going through a very difficult breakup. I think the best thing I can do is keep going. It's really tough.

I'm going to cancel my current commissions, if they haven't been started/paid yet. I need to relieve some stress and I'm very sorry to you if you requested a commission and I haven't started it yet. I will reopen and will try to reach out to those who have comms getting voided to see if they want first dibs.

I'll still be doing trades, gifts, and personal art. I'm trying to focus on my mental health and what I need to do to keep it going.

Please don't give up on me. I need support networks like crazy right now.

I'm scared. Scared for my friends and scared for myself. I don't know where to go. I don't know what to do. My gf says we should try to move to Vermont. Close to the border, LGBTQ+ friendly, weed is legal, etc. I can't afford to move to Canada. I can't really afford anything.

I need to sell most of my things and come up with some kind of plan. My friends are scared they'll be killed, and with good reason.

It's so hard to keep going. It seems so easy to give up. Can't even get the assurance that it won't be so bad because I just don't believe it. It's a nightmare I can't wake up from.

Had a good run! I told myself I'd always take payment for commissions after the rough is completed until that method causes me to get stiffed, and I think it's happening.

So from now on it looks like I'm going to have to be taking money up front. I hate doing this because that money payout was something that gave me a lot of motivation.
