New at Carnal Curiosities, the Chaos Deck! This is a new and improved version of the warped deck commissions I've been doing. I'm going to discontinue those and switch over to this new deck.

So Cherri, what's so different with this edition?

First, instead of a poker deck (54 transformations), this deck uses a heckadeck, which has 4 more suits and 2 new numbers for each, a 0 and 11, and a slew of other cards bringing the total potential transformations to a whopping 160!

Second, these commissions will be flat color rather than ink! The cost will be $80 instead of $50 to reflect this change.

I'll only be holding 2 slots for this one at a time, at least at first.

I'm very trash, but I do like the game a lot. I'm getting trolled and rolled trying to climb the rankings, and I'm only iron 5. There's like a disconnect between my brain and my hands that prevents me from doing combos. :P I'm currently playing Marisa since she doesn't have to worry about combos so much, but in 3 and 4 I mailed Ibuki so I was thinking maybe Kimberly? But I feel like she requires good combo execution.

All 31 days of TransforMAYtion. Sure, I subbed out a few, but I managed to post a new sketch every day for a month, and I'm happy I was able to follow through.

I miss going to cons...I would go to FWA but it's all booked up and even if my gf and I could get a room it would be too expensive. Are there any smallish cons coming up that might be a fun alternative?

So that's pretty fun. -_- my gf has been helping me a lot with figuring out a proper diet and exercise regimen, I just hope I have the willpower to stick to it. Historically I haven't been very good with discipline.

This paired with politics has left me feeling really down. I don't know how to get out of this funk. At least it's type 2, but it's still hard to wrap my head around the fact that I'll have a pretty restricted diet from now on if I want to avoid insulin, and I do want to avoid insulin. Insulin should not have a profit incentive given its creation, but capitalism is gonna capitalism. Another reason for the depression...

Anyway, I appreciate you reading thus far and I hope to be drawing and posting more soon.

Hi everyone,

Some of you may know I have a set of silicone breast forms from ages ago. They are VERY old so I was considering getting a new set buy I'm not sure which type or brand to get. I like the ones I have because they warm to my body temp and end up feeling natural, but I was wondering the sort of breast plate versions could emulate that as well or if they're just about looks.

If anyone knows anything that could be helpful, or knows someone else who might be a good resource, please let me know. :)

Hey all, I had an idea I wanted to run by you. Would anyone be interested in a sort of secret Santa commission gifting? I was thinking that people would submit their ref and then I would assign each person participating another person and they would in turn commission a 30-40 dollar piece from an artist. I would say it should be sfw to not restrict commission options. Thoughts?

There may be a group out there for this (and if there is I'd love to know about it), but I wanted to make a group that focuses on extremely bizarre furry art. Things like scrambled anatomy, dickneck characters, parts where there shouldn't be parts and no parts where there should be, stuff along those lines. There are a few groups that are close to this that I'm a part of, but generally the focus isn't quite the same.

I probably should have made this journal a while ago instead of continuing to explain it every time someone commissions me for a warped deck commission. :P

This commission type is always done in full body ink ($50).

The concept of this commission type is a magic deck of cards with each card assigned to a different transformation. In terms of function, this equates to drawing a number of cards from a standard poker deck with both jokers included, and then referencing a list of associated transformations. I use a digital poker deck to draw the cards.

The commissioner decides how many cards to draw, up to a max of 10 (This can go up to 12 with a specific card draw). Once that's done the commissioner can decide to redraw any cards they don't like, as often as they like, depending on how much they want fate to play a role and personal preference.

Like all commissions I do, I generally take payment after the rough sketch via PayPal, however I'm working on getting other methods of payment.

Hi all,

I wanted to post this to explain my absence lately from posting. I haven't really been able to put pencil to paper in about a month due to a lingering depression that has gotten pretty severe over the last several weeks.

I've always had problems with depression, but before there were peaks and valleys (more valleys than peaks), whereas now it's been a pretty constant valley.

I can't pinpoint a catalyst; up until recently my meds that I've been on for 5 years or so have been helping, but now it feels like they aren't working. There has always been stressers, particularly financial problems, but l this feels way worse and deeper.

I reached out to my doctor about it because I was having more and more hopeless thoughts and it was leading somewhere pretty dark. I also reached out to a few therapists (not that I can really afford that without decent insurance). My doctor put me on another antidepressant to see if it'll help bolster the drug I usually take, so I should hopefully see some improvement in the next one or two weeks.

I apologize to those still waiting on commissions; I don't take payment before approval of the rough sketch so if anyone wants to cancel their order, just let me know and I'll be glad to do so.

I hope everyone is doing well. I wanted to just send out a journal letting everyone know I've updated my commission pricing and outlined a terms of service. I've had to increase my prices because I've been having a really rough time lately (who hasn't?) and I'm trying to more accurately match a rate with time spent.

As much as I wish I could do art full time and leave the stress and pressure of my day job behind, I don't see that ever happening. Still, I want to make an effort to be more professional.
