I just wanted to give a status update of my status for anyone wondering.

Things haven't been going very well, as usual. Cheif among the issues is the fact that my living situation and day job have given me so much stress lately that it put me in the emergency room. I'll just summarize.

For a few days straight I had been getting strong headaches that just wouldn't go away. As I have very shitty free health insurance, I was reluctant to do anything about it, but I eventually went to urgent care. There, they took my blood pressure and said that even without the headaches, I needed to go to the emergency room. I obviously didn't want to do this because I knew it would financially cripple me.

My standard doctor also wouldn't see me because of the high blood pressure, until I went to the ER. Some short time later, I was in the emergency room, between waiting and getting a CT scan, I was there for 8 hours.

Hypertension. I think my blood pressure was roughly 160/90, something like that. I have some meds now, and it's slowly bringing it down, but the stress at my job causes frequent headaches, especially when I move fast.

Anyway, I checked the insurance and the total charged was 6k+, and I have a $7,500 deductible so they likely aren't covering shit.

I do have some commissions in the pipeline, but it has been extremely hard to motivate myself after my shift to do much other than recover. I will keep doing my gest to get to those, and I'm sorry for any delays my commissioners are experiencing.

I have once again let my watch notifications get way out of control and haven't been keeping up with thanking people for watching me. Executive dysfunction sucks, and I'm sorry to the 850+ newest watchers that I haven't expressed my gratitude to.

Except for the most recent watchers, it's been so long that it would be awkward to go leave a thank you shout, so I'm hoping this journal will at least partially convey how much I appreciate you all. You keep me going (although I recognize I'm very slow at producing content).

Long time no see, huh?

I'm still alive. I'm just in a really bad slump. I do have a full time job again, which is nice. I actually enjoy it. Still, money and depression continue to be regular hurdles for me. I'm sorry I haven't been around. It has been quite a while since I've put pencil to paper.

A lot of it has been a new found nihilism about things. I've kind of given up on a lot of things about myself.

I still want to draw and write for you guys though. Here's hoping it happens soon.

Most of you won't be surprised to see that I've pooled again for the better part of a whole year...I don't really know what to say. I guess it just happens, and I'm sorry. I know a lot of you enjoy my art, so I feel like I should be much more diligent.

It's no secret that I've got depression problems among many other things, chief among them being self sabotaging tendencies, so that's really the reason I guess. I recently started trying to do more graphic design stuff as well as arts and crafts (custom gaming tokens and Magic: the Gathering 3D life counters, for example) to try and make some money, but it's a trickle when I don't have a job.

I'm not going to lie, money has been a massive issue lately. If I can get over my self sabotage hurdle, I'll try and stream and do some commission work really soon.

I just wanted you all to know I'm still here, however infrequent.

I've been thinking about the past lately, and I have a lot of regrets that have been weighing heavily on me. I'd like to talk about them, in the hopes that it'll help me feel better.

I wish I had done a lot of things differently. I guess everyone thinks that. Everyone has regrets. The biggest of those regrets is how I've treated everyone who supported me. I'll explain.

A long time ago, I was much more active online. On AIM and YIM, I had so many friends. I'd talk to a lot of furs frequently. Due to my regular disappearances from FA and those messengers, I've lost 98% of the people who used to talk to me. I miss those days, and I am completely and wholly responsible for the situation; I acknowledge that. I wish things could go back to the way things were, but time and time again, I've destroyed the connections I've had.

This is also reflected in my art. I don't get nearly as many comments as I used to, and I don't blame people really. I feel like most of the watchers I have have either left the site or are sick of my shit. I really don't blame them.

I quit my job a few months ago. Those close to me or those that have been keeping up with my journals already knew that. I just couldn't support myself and I was having real trouble focusing. I moved back home to NC and things have been...different. I don't know if things are better or worse. No longer being on insurance for my meds, I've been spreading the last of my antidepressants out for as long as I can.

I have a part time job at a board game store, and I really need to draw and take commissions to make up for the rest of the money I need. I hope to be doing more of that soon, but you all have heard that before.

I miss talking to people...I really do. I didn't know the support network I had until it was dried up. I'm not sure where things are going now or what to do really. I've been getting more and more depressed and lonely as my meds run out.

I worry about my state of mind a lot these days. I don't know where my mind will wander and twist things as time goes on. While I still have a clearish head, I wanted to thank everyone who is still with me, particularly the people who are reading this. You're all I have left and I'm thankful for that. I hope I don't let you down again.

I wish I could go back and do things differently. I wish I could gain back the friends I used to talk with (although now I really just use skype). I neglected those pillars of support and I'm sorry. Whatever situation I'm in now, I completely acknowledge that it's of my own doing.

I miss everyone...I'm sorry.

Hi everyone, I hope you're all doing well. I'm sorry I've been absent, I've just been adjusting to my new life back in my home state. It's been up and down since I made the decision to move back and I've been distracted with a great many things.

Financially, I'm struggling and really need to start some commissions. With the part time job I have, there's a lot of down time, but I can't really draw anything adult. So I was hoping that maybe some people may want to get a clean commission that I can work on when it's slow. If you are, just note me and let me know. :)

Hi friends,

A lot is about to change for me in life. I've just made one of the most difficult decisions I've ever made and decided to resign from my job. I jus couldn't take the stress and the feelings of failure every day any longer. I've decided to move back from VA to my home town in NC to pursue a few of my dreams.

First, I'll be working part time at an independently owned board game store, which is something I've always wanted to do. I'll also be focusing on YouTube videos, board game design, and last but not least, furry art. It's a big risk, but nothing worth doing carries no risk.

So my last day in VA will be the 15th of February if anyone would like to meet up before then and is in the area. If you're an NC fur, let me know if you'd like to hang out some time as well. :)

I'm starting a contest! I'd like my watchers to come up with an idea for clothing for my new character, Jamie. Here's how it will work:
