I'm still alive! I've just been preoccupied with a lot lately. I've gotten into a tabletop game (Malifuax) and have subsequently gotten into figure painting, so that's taken up a lot of time. I also picked up RPG Maker so I can make dirty games with it. >:3 I've only "finished" one so far, which involves herm shenanigans. If you'd like a copy, let me know and I'll note you a link, if you don't mind that it's human (I don't have good furry sprites...yet).

Also my job transfer is still stressful, so that's been on my mind a lot. I could use some extra money given that I make less now, so if anyone wants a commission (clean; it has to be something I can draw during down time at work) just let me know.

Hi guys,

Sorry for not being around much. My new job has been pretty stressful as I try to succeed at it. Also, I started playing Guild Wars 2 and I kind of got addicted. I'll try to be online and posting more soon.

So this journal, primarily, is about relationships. It seems like everyone I know is in a happy one and it looks so appealing from the outside. I have a lot of issues though that seem to prevent me from getting a mate. While I like myself more than I used to and can recognize my strengths, I still have trouble caring about myself. Does that make sense? Anyway, if I don't care much about myself, why would anyone else? However, I feel like I would care more about myself if someone cared about me. It's kind of a catch 22.

Another issue is that I'm a homebody with social anxiety. How does someone like that go out and meet people? I dunno, maybe a dating site is the answer. Anyone tried and had any luck with furrymate?

Being intergendered doesn't help either, especially when you're more attracted to females. All of my relationships thus far have been with males, and I just can't do it any more. My libido is just too low to keep up with a guy in my experience. I'm more interested in female or trans (mtf or ftm) people since I feel like I can relate a bit more to them.

I guess this was just a journal to get some things off my mind. Thanks for listening.

Hi all!

I'm making this journey-journ to outline some new processes I'll be going with regarding commissions.

First and foremost, I'm going to start offering "____ inna box" commissions right away. Here's a link to the first one I did, of my own character in case you missed it: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11156955/ For these, it would be your character, in this style, and you'd pick the box colors and stuff. This would be $10 for just the image, or $15 and would include a physical glossy print that I would mail to you. If interested, note me about it. :)

As for other commissions, I'm thinking that the best way to go about this is to do sketches at the time that I can do them. Essentially I'll release a journal when I have some frees time to draw and will take commissions one at a time until I run out of time. The good thing about doing things this way is that you'd have the sketch more or less the same day that you commissioned it. Of course, I know that not everyone is going to be available at the same time, so I'll also have a regular sketch commission slot open that people can try and get via noting me here on FA. If its open, it's yours, otherwise I'll give you an eta on when it'd be open again. For single character sketches, I'd be charging $20. Any variables can be discussed. :3

As for ink and color, I can do that potentially, but after a sketch is done (in other words, all commissions will start as sketches and will be upgradable to inks, flat colors, and potentially shaded colors.)

So I was just offered the job of Production Artist at my company, which is a role I've really been tryin to get for a long time. While it is actually a pay decrease and I'll have to work a weekend day, the amount of stress that this is going to lift off my shoulders will be well worth it.

This has already started to affect my drive to draw, so hopefully (and I know I say this a lot) you'll see more work being posted soon. :)

I'm starting to think disappearing and reappearing is like a seasonal change for me; I don't get it. I've promised before that I'll try to be around more, but since that's about as predictable as the roll of a die, I don't think I'll make such claims this time. I'll try, but motivation is almost foreign to me now. I wish I knew how to fix it.

Mostly I've been working (it's busy season at my job) and trying to transfer from customer service to production art in my company. Additionally I've been recording lots of Let's Play videos to help with my social awkwardness and that's helped a lot.

The living situation is really quite good; I live in a house with 4 other furries and we all seem to get along well and there's a decent sense of community. It's also loads cheaper than my last place.

Also, I have the Rocket Vixen Repairs shirts all bagged up and ready to sell if anyone is interested. I don't have many of each size, but I'm thinking $15 with USPS shipping included is what I'll charge for them. Hey everyone,

I just wanted to let people know that I haven't been around in about a week or so because I've been busy preparing for a move. I just moved this time last year, and I'm getting rather sick of doing it, so I hope that this is the last time I'll need to for a while.

If all goes well, I should be moved into the new place this weekend and be all set up to be online (as reclusive as I usually am, anyway :P) at that point.

So I'm getting to the point where I am able to take a few sketch commissions again! That said, I'm going to put in place a system for people who would like sketches from me. :3 Here's the rundown:

1) Sketches will range in price from $15-$25 depending on complexity, for single character. If you'd like multiple characters, we can discuss the cost of that. 
2) At this point, I'd like to only have 2 clean sketches in the works at a time, and 1 adult; this is totally not because I don't want to draw dirty stuff, it's because I can draw clean stuff at work and thus produce sketches quicker.
3) I'm going to start guaranteeing a completion date for the rough version of the sketches, which would be a week in most cases from the time I accept the commission and agree on what the design will be.  That isn't to say the whole thing will be done in that time, but only that you'll see something. I am, however going to try my best to finish the whole thing in that time frame. I've had problems with finishing things quickly in the past, so this will be a great way to keep me on track and get you art fast. If I miss the guaranteed date, I will arrange a discounted cost for you.  
4) If you would like to commission a sketch, please email me at cherricommissions at yahoo dot com. I'll email you back to let you know I got the email and whether or not I have room for it at that time. If I don't, I'll email you as soon as I am able, in the order I received the requests.
5) Payment should be handled via PayPal, and you don't pay until you see the initial rough version of the sketch. 

Whew! Sorry for all the rules, it's just going to be the best way for me to give you art in a fast and efficient way. I seriously want to draw great stuff for you all cause you're awesome, so the structure will ensure you get the service you deserve. :3

Hey everyone!

I was trying to check my notes here on FA and I accidentally nuked my watch notifications....usually I get a prompt asking if I'm sure I wanna dot that, but I guess that option didn't happen on my phone browser. :(

The reason I mention it is because I had like 900+ people on that watch notification section that I was going to personally thank by giving them a shout on their page when I had time to sit down and do it...I let it pile up and now I don't have the option of doing it. :/

So anyway, since I don't know the names of the last 900 watchers, I can only thank you by saying it here. Thanks so muh for watching me, I really do appreciate it. :3 I'll also draw a picture about this since I know not everyone reads journals. Expect to see that soonish.

On a side note, the side effect of my new medication is that it's making my libido stronger, which fuels my messed up drawing and writing! :D

Heya friends,

Just thought I would post an update on my situation.

It looks like the living situation has been resolved. A coworker is moving in with me so I don't have to stress over that. It's a big relief. Due to me switching rooms (I won a coin flip to decide who got what room) and business at work, I haven't been on as much. It's about to be busy season at my job and that means overtime, which means less time for arts. :(

Still, I should be drawing more once things calm down. I have a few sketches here and there that I need to upload. I'll be doing more writing when I get the opportunity too. I want to truly thank you all for baring with me during his drought of content. You guys are great. @.@

I'm also going to be showing a t-shirt design soon if anyone is interested. I won't be able to print them though if there aren't enough requests. Money is still a really big concern, so I can't afford to print them up if I can't at least break even.

Other than that, I've just been feeling lonely. I'm kinda tired of being forever alone, but every relationship I get into fails. I also miss my friends back home, although I recently visited them, so that was nice. These are problems I'm sure everyone deals with. I won't whine too much about it. :)

So yeah, it's really becoming an issue. I move out of one place because my roommate was moving to CA, committed to a new place with a coworker (four times the rent), then my original roommate doesn't end up moving, and my current roommate is moving to Reno. AND I can't move back into the original place. Le sigh.

I may need to start doing commissions or doodles for donations or something (after I clear my current commission cue, which is small on the drawing side, large on the story side)

I also want a gun. Went shooting for the first time recently and it was a blast. Needs before wants though...

Man, stuff is falling apart everywhere...My PC occasionally won't boot, claiming that there's no operating system. My tablet is having trouble drawing straight lines, creating jagged, flawed results. I can't hear anyone talking to me on the phone unless I put it on speaker. They still can't seem to solve a crashing problem with my work PC. The worst thing is that I'm not going to have a place to live soon. My roommate is moving to Reno and I dunno what to do. I JUST moved into this place! *sigh*

I don't know...I hope to get more art to you guys soon.

Hey all.

I just thought I would give everyone an update on stuff and things. I've been pretty frustrated with myself for not utilizing my free time for art. It's not even that I don't want to do it, it's just that I never seem to be able to direct my focus to it. I had been seeing a psychologist for various issues, and after doing some research, I believe that this may be because of executive dysfunction. It basically means I have a lot of trouble with day to day tasks from initiating them, processing them, etc. Look it up if you're interested. (EFD or EDF)

I'm on some meds to help with focusing, and some others for social anxiety. I'm not sure how they're affecting me other than their obvious intentions. I do know one thing though, and that's that my libido lately has been almost nonexistent. I've never really had a huge sex drive, despite what I draw if you can believe it, but this is kind of a whole new level. I don't like it.

My low libido has pretty much ruined most of the few relationships I've had, and I wish it were stronger. I draw most productively when in the mood, and that also goes for writing.

I dunno...Go figure. I do have a few things to upload, I just need to scan them.

Sorry I haven't been around guys. My car died and then my new one got totally shortly after. :p

I've just been kind of taking a break from everything. I really, truly appreciate everyone who is still watching me after such a lengthy break.

I should be back with new art soon. I finished and printed one of my t-shirt designs so I may be showing that. I'll hopefully also be attending Morphicon, but I really don't think I'll be making AC this year.

Hey everyone. I just wanted to put up a journal to gauge interest in some t-shirt designs that I will be selling soon. I really am not interested in making a big profit or anything, I just want to share some designs with the community. :3

Here's how it will work. I have two designs that I'll describe (and will post the art soon) and see how many people would want to order. Thing is, the more people that order, the less the shirts will end up costing. I want to offer free shipping too. Right now, I can guarantee the cost at $20.00 a shirt. Even at that cost, I could still lose money on this if I get too few orders...

Design 1: This design will be a dual gender glyph on the chest. I have actually already made some of these a while back, and I had a few people ask about them last anthrocon. To go into more depth, the glyph is simply a male and female gender symbol combined into one. On the originals that I made, the symbol was turquoise and was outlined in magenta, but I may use a different color scheme if this is not popular. The symbol really stands out with those colors. This is a design to wear if you want to show your interest in or support of intersex, intergender, or androgynous people, or maybe you are one of these and want to be true to yourself. That's why I made the first ones; because I'm intergendered. The color of the shirt can be individually selected from a wide selection. :)

Design 2: This will be a more traditional furry design. It will feature a scantily clad female fox with a giant wrench. This is made to look like a company logo for a fictional futuristic company called "Rocket Vixen Repairs". I spent a huge amount of time on this design, and I have to say that I think it's some of my best stuff.I may post the inks for it in a bit. The design will be full color.

So there's the short and dirty descriptions. I'll be posting the art for these, but I need to see just how many I should order. Keep in mind, the more people who decide to order, the less I would need to charge. :)

So I got a new tablet and I want to draw a Halloween picture of myself, but the trouble is it needs to be completed soon. I thought I would have a little contest to help with it.

All you have to do is suggest an idea or costume in a reply to this journal. If I go with your idea, I'll draw a sketch for you. It's that simple. Ugh, WTF?

So little time lately. It seems like I'm posting one of these "I'm still alive" journals way more often than I should. I wish I had more time to draw and write for you guys. :(

I know I've been an elusive herm lately, but it's my intention to be more active about stuff soon. I've been dealing with some health stuff lately with lots of doctor appointments and other such craziness. Found out I have sleep apnea. Waiting on insurance so I can get a machine to help with that.

Hi everybody. I hope everyone is doing fine. I'm really sorry I've fallen off the face of the earth it seems...I guess I do that a lot.

Not surprisingly, I don't seem to have much contact with the furry world lately. I just sometimes feel like I'm not worth much. I am seeing a therapist though, so hopefully I'll feel better about myself.

I'm going to hopefully be posting more art soon, wrapping up series pics, ect. Any words of encouragement or conversation would be appreciated if you want. I've been feeling quite lonely lately.

I guess it's because I miss the friendships I had back home. Those were cultivated over years and years and years...I'm lucky to have great roommates, but I feel like I bother them more than anything else.

I was finally able to afford some breast forms and they came in last Friday! I really love them...I finally feel comfortable with myself when wearing them. I'm still a bit embarrassed to be wearing them around the house, even though my roommates are okay with it (although one said they look funny on me. =/)

I might actually bring them to AC if I can work up the courage to do so, but I dunno. I would post a pic of one here, but I don't think it would really be appropriate. Well off to work I go! Take care everyone.
