BEES
General | Posted 13 years agoJust saw a wasp the size of a small bottle of asprin flying around in my living room. I grabbed the fly swatter "No." And then, I reached for the broom. What happened next can only be summed up in music. My living room is a fucking mess, but I am the victor.

My Improvement List
General | Posted 15 years agoThere are some things I could improve on drastically that I should acknowledge. Thinking back now, because my art has since been wiped minus the one piece I have on display as of right now, I have to say the major thing that got me was anatomy. That has always been hard. I don't think that will change unless I can acquire a personal army of nude models. Since I'm not that handsome or manipulative, I suppose I'll need to look into some tutorials and dig up the old books I shipped to myself.
Next thing is a little more effort involving, more technique required. I need to learn how to ink properly. I've never been able to obtain crisp looking lines. The only time I can remember a decent inking job was back the first time I tried the pen tool in PhotoShop. Since then, I can't find it. I doubt Elements 8 has it. If it does, I'd love to know how to find it and use it again.
The last thing I can think of is coloring. It seems like a simple concept. Pick up a crayon and smash it into the paper until you have art. But no. I need to figure out how to use it properly, in an appealing way. And how to get that damn shading down. So all of these things I need to figure out.
Anatomy
-Female anatomy
-Detailed muscle structure
Inking
-Techniques to get crisp lines
Color
-Smooth transitions between fur color
-Shading/highlights and what way works best
Playing
