For me, 2024 was a year full of loss and hardships. I know many other people have lost a lot this year.

I wish each and everyone of you a Happy New Year and that 2025 will be the year, that rewards us for our patience, pain and strength to keep going!

What they did today? Oh you are not prepared for the most idiotic decision ever.



I've been on IG for probably 4-5 years. I've tried to grow my account so often, with so much effort.

Even had a social media manager helping me, In all the time I got around 2000 followers - nice.

But when you get 5-20 likes max, IF AT ALL, then not so nice. It feels like no matter what you do, artists are not wanted there. Art is not worthy to be there.

I have deleted the app a long time ago, only posted from my PC and pretty inconsistenly too, as the app is shit and people with their social media addiction, the lying and scamming influencers pretending their life is a dream are honestly pissing me off a lot. I cannot believe how these dishonest people can get so much clout, followers and support for being pure scumbags.

I never wanted to be a part of this, in any ways. Though Social media was important for me to showcase my work as it pays my bills and my food. Literally. I only have art as an income - for the past 7 years as I worked hard to become a fulltime freelance.
So I said, Okay, I'll keep trying then. With 0 success.

I've been having this idea for quite some time but now I think it's a good time to share :)

As some of you may have already seen, I started creating character designs again.
This time I chose 2 AB options with really cool benefits for you!

Quick side note before we continue -> What does commercial license in this sense mean?
Commercial license in my case means: You can resell the designs in your own way (for example if you recreated them in 3D), You can sell merch, books, comics, etc... with the character and/or the other designs included. You are basically allowed to monetize your work that includes the character and designs you purchased from me, without having to fear that I will come around the corner and give you a bonk with a stop sign. :D

(the 3 designs you pick come with the commercial license, which is worth $100 per outfit, the character comes with the commercial license as well - all rights can be transferred in written form if needed)

I used to have an email list years ago, where I sent out emails whenever I uploaded new adopts.
Then I discovered discord and started to post new adopts here. By now, I feel like my announcements are drowning in the flood of discord servers people are on and Deviantart doesn't seem to be much helpful either.

I know that you should usually get an email whenever I upload an auction to ych.art and even though some of you may not be fans of using their email, I would like to go back to the email list and incorporate it again.

This time via gumroad though. You can easily subscribe there.

My goal is to send out a single weekly reminder of every adopt that is available.
You won't be buried with tons of emails by me and this way you can also keep track of available designs.

I honestly feel quite invisible to the world right now, so I hope by sending weekly or maybe even bi weekly reminders, it'll help both of us.

Another one of my images were removed displaying some underage LOL character in a sexy way. Also posted 9-10 years ago as a commission for my brother. I had no idea who the character even was. And holy shit, do I look or act like a pedophile in any way??!!

I hear from a lot of people lately getting their images banned because a character is underage in the original anime, manga, series whatever and if it's the same design even if she's older in newer seasons, DA consideres the underage version only....

I wonder how long it makes sense to continue doing the weekly designs the way I do them now. :)

I enjoy it a lot and I know it's a great deal for you guys to get 4-5 designs a month for $25.

But I think at some point, each of you has a huge ass collection and gets tired of the designs


Since the tier doesn't really grow but continually gets less and less subscribers, I feel like it's time to add something that brings more value to you.

So I was wondering what that is?


I'm not really familiar with what other artists offer, except exclusive commissions or behind the scenes stuff.

Commissions would pretty much drive me straight to burnout city with the way I am, so I rather not offer anything of that kind.

Lack in diversity (colors, style, elements

One point is the lack of diversity in my designs. Like I reuse the same elements often and use a lot of black.

Here I have to admit that I really suck with other colors and somehow always have, that when I tried to mix things up a bit, it appeared as if people liked it even less.
The darker and sexy outfits were Always the more popular ones.
From time to time I tried to go with other designs as well, just didn't feel the feedback was that positive.
Where I live, I don't really have a lot of inspiration I can drag from, people look rather dull.
I somehow always felt like I needed to create something completely new, so that if I took a dress and made it a bit sparkly wouldn't be enough, that I needed to make it extra asymetrical or something and after so many designs I made, I felt like I'm running out of ideas. That's why I rarely considered to look at real life clothing.


Of course I will try to do more diverse designs but I'm learning and doing my best everyday and sometimes I just get hung up on a similiar style, cause I just really enjoy it at that moment. Even if art is my business, I'm sure you can understand that art is my passion and still my hobby and I'd like to continue enjoying it 🙂


My usage of AI

I understand the concerns and that people are not liking AI.
The reason I use it by training a model on my work is because it gives me the possibility to make designs more accessible to people with a small budget, without burning myself out.
If times weren't the way they are, I'd surely have found a different solution. Even if now it appears unprofessional to some, it's a possibility for me to also earn a little more without having to break a leg. In addition to that, I have more time and head space for my actual designs.

I'm a person who loves to experiment and try new ways.

Maybe next year AI will be less interesting to me. In the current situation I am, I find it fitting to use the way I currently do.

Though I'm glad someone has brought this up.


The Autobuy price


tl;dr: This has actually given me an idea. A lower Autobuy price with each option but without the license, for the ones who don't need it. That way it should balance this out.

I'd like to take the chance and explain this from my personal stand point.
Yes I know the price is high. The reason I raised it so much is because I've seen someone selling sketch designs at those prices and I felt like I was under valuing myself. In addition people get the commercial license, since Vtubers are a thing these days. They profit from this for example. I only sell the design once but they will gain continuous income. I feel like, I should get paid for my knowledge and service as well and not only for the finished drawing. I make sure people receive their artwork in time, I communicate as fast as I can, I make sure that even due to different time zones, I'm always at reach. - Yes this is my own decision to do but we all know there are a lot of assholes out there not giving a shit about their community and even asking for a lot more than I do.

Teaching it all myself, learning and improving everyday, spending hours and hours of research and marketing, spending money on tools, software and tutorials. I know people don't see this and frankly, I understand they don't care, though I'd like to point this out and I find it important to talk about some behind the scene things as well. Cause I usually spend 14h a day, even on weekends on my PC and on my art. Just because I don't post anything, doesn't mean I don't work hard for my goals (: And let me mention that I also need to buy food and pay bills. Living in Germany is not what you'd call cheap. I offer my designs in USD, which means I always receive less in Euro, especially after Paypal fees + conversion fees.

This has actually given me an idea. A lower Autobuy price with each option but without the license, for the ones who don't need it. That way it should balance this out.

This means, you buy the design + give me permission to create a character for you (you can give me colors for hair, skin and eyes and maybe hair styles for example) and according to that, I will draw the character in the outfit you purchased.

This means, not only will you receive an outfit design but also a character and on top of that the unlimited commercial license.
