It’s fun to visit an art site one hasn’t been to in a while, and look at old stuff that you maybe have lost or deleted. I’m thankful that FA can apparently save almost 20 year old art. not sure how they keep
It from choking the servers. At any rate, I’m still involved in the Freetah Fox project, which takes up most of my drawing time. I do occasional sketches of other random characters in the cartoon.

Haven’t been on FA in a couple years. Not much has changed. I’m still doing Freetah Fox but I post her on patron and Reddit now mostly. Uhhhh, I’m trans now so that’s a Chsnge.

So I guess I'm too retarded to use that new furiffic site. Can't even up load art with out going through more crap then flying a jet air liner. plus the colors suck. So FA is still my fav art site. Its like. Easy. What's gong on with the web these days? They seem to have forgotten the KISS principle.
Whatever. Haven't been doing my comic much since I have to work for money, but I still draw it occasionally. I had holiday depression that took me about three months to shake. I'm not celebrating Christmas or new years any more. Maybe the solstice.
I did go to a furry thing last week. That was fun but no one was drawing anything.

so i been drawing Freetah for a few weeks now. im getting back into the swing of things, like i used to, drawing for my small town paper. except no trying to be politically onntop of things. that only depressed me.
Freetah and her animal friends live in a happy peaceful world sort of like equestria but not as candy colored.
i can spend hours there.
my goal is to be able to do this cartoon daily but that is very ambitious for me right now. i lack a serious art app, and im still pretty slow. im really more of a writer then an artist. it was a long road to be able to draw my ideas, and its pretty cool too, now that i can. another hindrance to daily submission is a ahhh, job. heh.
a requirement until, or if ever, i can make a living from doing this. there is a lot of competition, to be sure. but at least i can no longer say my arts not good enough, and use that as an excuse for not trying. There are a crowd of successful cartoons with similar, very basic art. but not as cute characters, lol. i mean im a fur after all. but as ive said, Freetah is not a furry comic. i just use furry characters. i want to appeal to the mainstream comic reader. i dont think my art will ever be good enough to make it just in the fandom. plus i dont draw porn. that means your work has to be really stellar.
and so, we will carry on.

ive decided to try cartooning again. i think maybe freedah is going to be something i can do consistantly. thats important for a cartoon strip, of course. its also my biggest challenge. with politcal cartoons i struggled to be relevant. i had to stay current, and keep up with the latest news and trends. even with my other cartoons it was often hard to keep them actually funny, like haha funny. im just not a haha person i guess. what i really wanted, but was unable to internalise it, was a strip that didnt need to be funny all the time, and would occasionally let me tackle social and cultural issues of the times and that was more reflective of my mindset. who i am. i cant draw something like the peanuts, or like dennis the mennace, because thats not who i am. thats why i couldnt draw similar stuff consistantly, i know now. i was trying to be somebody else.
i guess its safe to say freedah is me. in cartoon land, as in life, freedah is not the biggest or the smartest, and doesnt always win. i like the simple art since i can do it and not get bogged down with something that will take hours. if it takes me too long im just not going to do it. my political cartoons were often like that. i also realised that, although a good political cartoon could win you a pulitzer, they dont have as broad an appeal as say, garfield. thats just they way it is in this feild. of course it had to have a fox it it, duh. but its in no way a furry cartoon. i am not immeresed deeply enough in the furry culture to pull something like that off. ive got a better feeling about this strip them my other cartoons. i hope i can do something with it.

Wow its been about a year since I been on FA. Erf. Not much been going on. Drew a few pics, collected a few glass foxes, wrote some stories, created a sci-fi game. Ive been writing a little bit more now and working on my collection of short sci-fi that maybe I can put up on amazon for actual frickin munny or something. I definetely need to draw more this year then I did last year. God last year sucked for art. Hardly drew anything, and most of it was abstract stuff on the ipad. Bleh. I am SO FUCKING EYE'D OUT im about ready to try a windows phone and a tablet except for that win 8 is just BAHHHHD!!!! I think Ill go suck on my tail now.

The android turned out not to be very good at uploading art to FA. It would do it but it kept posting upside down, among other quirks.
Plus the abysmal battery life was getting bothersome. I was warned about it. I know. BAD FOX!!!!!!!

Hopefully I wont be away from FA for such long periods. I can share the iphone connection with my laptop. and that brings my wireless price to 45 a month, instead of thirty for the data on the ohone, that I need for work, and sixty for the data on the laptop that I need for goof off. I only get 4 gigs though. No more 2nd life. bwahhhhh hahahahahaha

Yep still around, however been trying to use my ipad to do art and while its ok for that I cannot post it to this site. That sucks. Any ideas besides getting a different tablet? Not like i have any earth shakng art but still.

Yea so...been doing some sketches but my scanner ummm...well I dont know if it will work with the mac or not, and my tablet computer is Awol but soon to return. Once it does I can start posting clean line art once again. I took a couple of pictures to post here just for laughs. Been still working on my reclining poses and human anatomy, obviously. I really like out of the odinary poses. Havent had time to really color anything since it takes nearly all day. And then the question is WHO should I color? So many cute vixens Hmmmm and then Ixnay yayahh!..I should refine her character a bit more, might be fun to use here and there.

Uhhhh..Its been a while since I been in here, but at least its not like my DA account, that I have not been to in a year. I took a raincheck on drawing much of anything to follow up on a few writing projects. These colored line drawings of Buttons are about the only things I have drawn for a bit except for some tentacle art. And not THAT kind either. Maybe I will post it here if it ever gets done. I am bad like that. Sometimes I will rough out a sketch and then quit, if I dont think I will lever actually use it for anything or put it up anywhere.

Welll, as everone can prolly see, Im back to drawing furry art. Oh fabulous. Im just writing this so the old one gets off the main page there. I dont plan any vast changes in style or method, so it will be more of the same...with a few diversions. Foxgurrrrls it is. I still have a day job so I cant draw as much as I could otherwise and sometimes I just lose interest for a few weeks. The one thing I do want to do is to push the boundries of furry as far as I can into the human form, in my quest to get better at drawing human figures. Once I am satisfied with my ability to draw solid human figures I expect I will go back to drawing semi anthro characters such as the one on my featured art space. I really do like that form the best.
