So, I've been drinking this awesome blueberry tea, and it leaves the coolest blue-grey splotches on parchment paper. It's literally pure blueberry, just dried berries in the tea bag, it's delicious and beautiful for splattery backgrouds! So, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a semi-experimental commission using some of this tea and painting in the character over it. I guess it's not too experimental since that's how I do my Distressed Badges, but I haven't done full-body images in this manner yet really, so I'd like to try a few! I'm offering them for $30 right now, though I may increase the price at a later date. So basically, let me experiment with your character on tea-stained paper(ooh don't that sound naughty?), and get some of my art at a discount, since I usually do smaller full-colors for $40. :3 I am still open for badges as well, those remain $15.

I've been reading Hannibal, also, it's very good, the books go way more in-depth than the movies in some ways. I read Red Dragon a few years ago, it was great! Hey all! My household is running low on funds and commissions are going slow for me currently, soooo... So this week I had an experience I can only describe as awful... A friend of mine found this stray kitten with one eye, and my Mom and I were trying to nurse her back to health. Well it turned out she had a horrible infection, and that was what had taken her one eye. Her other eye came out after about 2 days... let me tell you, no one should have to witness eye trauma in a kitten, it was terrible. :( We finally were able to get her to a vet, and got some antibiotics for her. Well... the third night she ended up passing away. :( There was just no more we could do. Poor girl. I am just glad she's no longer suffering, and that I could help her last few days be as comfortable as possible. All that, and this is also the week my Dad passed last year, yesterday was the exact date, so it's been rough, especially with this very visceral reminder that death is real.

On a better note, my mate  darkcoyote just moved out of his Dunkirk apartment and is back here in Fredonia. <3 It was a lot of work helping him move, but we're pretty much done, so yay. So now I finally have time to work on some commissions. Got a sketch and some fursuit work to do, so I'm off to work on them.

Hope the rest of August is not so awful. It's never been a great month for me, but considering everything that just happened, I'm doing okay for the most part.

Had to get a new machine, the Yiffy 420 finally quit on me. D: The processor burnt itself out. So from the ashes shall come the YiffMonster 666. :3 I finally got all the upgrades I wanted, now I am just waiting for my repair guy to switch out my video card(the one on Yiffy was higher-end than the new one) and get my data transferred from my old hard drive. I'm waiting impatiently for the good news! *wags tail* So excited for my fully operational battle station to be complete!!! Good news for you guys, I have some digital arts I hope to finish up after I get my machine back too. :3
