well i never did run that auction in july.... but I AM going to do it this month

I really think I need to start taking commissions for the bust ONE AT A TIME. for whatever reason, I just really drag my feet working on them and i really dont like having commissions a month+ in waiting. so i only want to take on ONE next time and it seems like the best way to let someone claim the spot, is by auction.

i'd like to eventually run a full body auction too

and i'd like to try making more chibi styled full bodies. like smaller and simpler than a typical full body sculpt that i'd do, so that i could potentially make them quicker and offer them for cheaper. but we shall see....

prolly the most important thing for me to do right now actually, is start making stuff on my own as there's a couple local shops who are interested in carrying my sculpts. and i REALLY need to stop being a whimp and try casting some simple pieces.

so, i only have one open bust slot for July, and i considered ways of how to approach that and decided auctioning off the slot will work the best
the auction is going to start at $60, which is the price for an unpainted bust

im really really hoping that this summer, i can start to take sculpture commissions again.
I get burnt out on sculpting a lot quicker than i do drawing, unfortunately. probably because sculpting takes so much work to do! i have admittedly been undercharging too, and that has really turned me off. i am looking at taking a very limited amount of slots per month, or every couple of months. i want to put a lot of effort into custom pieces for you guys. i also would love to make more personal work, as opposed to custom commissions.

just a heads up, i will be open for bust commissions again soon. the beginning of May or maybe the end of this month. i just need to finish a certain moose and get some 2d stuff outta the way first.

i think i already have 2-3 reserved slots though, which means i will only really be open to the public for 2-3 more

also, this time around, i will offer sculpts unpainted as well. unpainted will be $35 (verses $50 for painted)

cost of shipping has gone up for me (i guess the lady i used to ship with charged me less than she was supposed to) so US shipping is now $8
if you need the sculpt for an upcoming event (birthday, wedding etc.) PLEASE let me know so that i don't dilly dally and get it to you late. it usually takes about a month time for folks to receive their orders. if you need it in like two weeks from now, it is possible to pay extra for me to get it done and shipped faster.
