Car accident/out of work
Posted 7 years agoI wish I had a happier update for you all especially around the holidays, but I dont.
I was in a car accident the friday before thanksgiving (Nov 16th) and my life and everything in it has been on hold since then.
I had 2 others in the car with me, and the other driver made a left turn in front of me and I t boned them. hard.
both cars are destroyed, the brand new car I had just gotten in May is totaled.
I wish I could say everyone is ok, for the most part we are aside from myself and one other person who was in the car.
I myself have a cracked rib, and I'm now in physical therapy for my neck, my hip, and both knees as I slammed into the dashboard of my car and got knocked out for a moment.
One of my passengers has a broken tail bone and needs physical therapy on her back as well.
Other than that, everyone is okay.
But, due to my injuries I can't work, and that also limits myself on working on artwork. I can't sit for a long time or stare as a paper or screen for a while due to my hip and neck. It also hurts to breathe sometimes but theres nothing you can do for a rib injury.
I will be working on artwork, however slowly, while I piece my life back together. I will be opening soon for commissions hopefully once I clear a batch I'm working on.

Posted 7 years agoHello all! I would first like to take a step and say for current commissions they are in progress, however I had been hospitalized and I'm still currently on a medical leave, hence the disappearance.
I'm still recovering, if you would like to know the details you can send me a note
From here on I will be active and doing weekly updates every Friday or Saturday with mass uploads and commission updates.
With that being said, especially since I was in the hospital and I will be on a medical leave till October from my regular job, I need to open for an emergency bill. Posted 8 years agoHey all! For 2018 digital and traditional pricing has been updated!
There are some minor updates, as well as some major updates. On average I spend about 6 hours+ minimum per piece and doing the math, i was only making $3-$4 an hour with artwork, sometimes less.
With these updates it is now more of a sustainable rate, as well as these pricing especially for traditional include shipping, lamination, and materials used.

Posted 8 years agoGood afternoon all! I wanna apologize for my absence and would like to update everyone with whats going on with my life
To start off, art has been very slow but I'm finally getting a more regular schedule from my day job so my art schedule will start to be more regular as well
I'm looking to clear my queue especially of the pinups within the next two weeks and hoping to open for badge commissions by the end of this month so i can make an extra 200-400 a month on top of my job to cover health care and moving costs.
with that being said, My husband and I are moving back to Colorado in March 2018! We have a lot of funds to cover and thats why I really need to clear my queue as soon as possible.
Art will be posted either whenever I am able to or WEEKLY, and I'll also be updating my FA and Facebook page daily to weekly as well (or as needed)
So keep an eye out for new art soon!Sorry for the disappearance!!
Posted 8 years agoHELLO ALL!! im SLOWLY working through commissions, i do work TWO jobs so working on commissions is a bit hard at the moment cause my days off usually is filled with errands and catching up on chores and most the time when i get home from work im too exhausted to continue
i will be trying to complete one commission a day from now on however, especially on weekends as i will need this as an income again very soon, at least 200-300 a month from art which i feel is doable especially with badges n what not.

I have a question for you all! How would you feel about a Patreon to support me and supporting some original artwork ideas?
I have a FULL list of print ideas on my Trello currently that I have not been able to work out, and out of curiosity wanted to ask if anyone had any interest in actually funding these prints (or on Patreon)
Those who fund these prints will receive:
A high res file version
An original print of the high res file, printed off and shipped to you (essentially a poster for you to use!)
"Blank" Or uncolored copy for you to color/free to use (so long as credit is given!)
while the lower res file version of the print will be uploaded later on after those who supported the print receive their high res copies.
The more these prints are funded, the more I can offer them later on as small prints and posters for you to purchase (if you do not support the originals) If you are interested in funding any of these prints let me know!

Im currently negative -$466. If i dont bring it into the positive, my account and any account under my name will be frozen until further notice.
I am open for ALL commissions now instead if just discounted commissions, if i can do 4XL refs i can bring my account in the positive.
Honestly, i feel like fucking crying because of this, i have no idea how we can cover bills if i have to cover this as well.

Posted 8 years agoHey guys! I'm in a fairly tight bind and need to take on some traditional full color pinups!!
THESE WILL BE DISCOUNTED!! I normally do these for $35 a piece but I am taking them on for $25 a piece! CAN BE NSFW OR SFW!!
I'm trying to get them done as fast as I can and in batches, I'm about 20 pinups away from my goal to cover the last of the bills!!
We currently owe the VA 3k and it takes a chunk fron our BAH payment, we use BAH for our rent and smaller bills. With us owing them money, we are short on rent, gas, electric, and internet bill and i use internet to do comnissions. Id like to be able to civer these bills without going severelt negative in my fiances account, as mt account is currently -$480.
Right now rent puts us in the negative, and we cant afford the other bills and id like to keep my electric on especially!
If you can't commission me please share this!!

It has been a bit since my last journal, and I apologize for that!
The reason being was because my job FINALLY started up! You see, I work for a MLB Team, and as most baseball fans know, April means the start of the season! It has been EXHAUSTING to keep up with work and artwork, I've been getting home past midnight and just crashing the moment I get home from the long hours.
Due to this and wanting to just work as well as get art pumped out and focus on finances, I had dropped BOTH my classes this semester. It was a bit of a tough decision, but I was falling behind and to the point I was unable to catch up, and it became more of a situation of which is more important to work on, finances or school. I will be taking the ENTIRE year off from school just to work and get our finances in order so we no longer have any sort of emergencies. We've been trying so hard to start a rainy day fund, and each time we get one started things happen and it causes us to be negative all over again.
Hopefully with my new job I will be able to contribute much more than before, combined with artwork I should be able to jump start our finances and not worry anymore on how to pay groceries or rent. I'm tired of feeling like this, and I would like for my fiance to be able to take at least a small vacation off from work. He works so hard for the both of us, and probably gets only 4 hours of sleep a night due to how early he gets up for work and how late he comes home from school. I would really like to help out to the point that he would not have to worry about working at all, at least for the next year or so. Almost there! EMERGENCY COMMISSIONS STILL OPEN!

Posted 8 years agoHey guys! my fiance and I are in a bit of a pickle, our VA payment for rent was WAY less than it should have been, as well as he is off school till April 10th. No school means no BAH payment for us, which means we lose out on about $1500 which pays a majority of our bills.
This month is VERY VERY tight for us, and we are sort of scrambling trying to cover our bases so we can have all the bills paid as well as Aprils rent, March rent we are already behind. Without BAH, we cannot cover a large part of our bills.
BECAUSE OF THIS: I am open for full body flat colors! I have a goal to take on 45-55 flat color commissions for this month, my full body flat colors start at $30 and I'm finishing about 2 commissions a day while being able to start 3-4 the same day. I would like to get my speed up to complete 3-5 commissions a day as well.
THESE WILL NOT BE THE ONLY COMMISSIONS I OPEN FOR!!! If you would like something different either digital or traditional, please let me know and I'll work you into a slot!
If you cannot help out by getting a commission, it'd be awesome if you guys could boost this journal as well!!

there is also now 2 separate lists, one for digital and one for traditional! So that way no more confusion!

Posted 9 years agoHey guys! I am currently selling 3 basic watercolor bookmarks I completed last night, each for $5! (prints only, not the originals)
They will be printed off on glossy photo paper and double laminated to ensure they're protected, shipping is included in the price as well!! I didn't want to open for more commissions, so I'm doing 15 prints of each bookmark!
I'm starting to work a lot with watercolor now as well, it'd be awesome to do some more prints! What would you guys like to see more of? I'm getting married!
Posted 9 years agoHey guys! I'm getting married this year! Because of this I will be open a LOT more frequently to cover fees and deposits for our wedding, cause woah lordy thats expensive as hell xD.
Our wedding will be in September, so for that month I will most likely not be on. HOWEVER! I will be open for a sort of "rent a day" type thing, where you can pay me for a full work day (8 hours) worth of work and that can be anywhere from traditional, watercolor, to even digital! It would be $80 per day and vary with the amount of work done, digital especially. With digital it would depend how far I get so it can be inks, flats, or a full color. Badges I will finish REGARDLESS if its past the time frame! If I only do inks or flats on a piece of artwork that you would like completed, there will be an extra fee yes, but it would vary between size (no more than $15 extra!).
I will be doing it once a week, most likely weekends or weekdays when I dont have school. If you are interested please let me know! It helps pay the bills and helps us pay for our wedding!. All commissions will be open as well!Updated Terms of Service

I will still be open for smaller things like badges or flat colors but at random. I will most likely start doing daily adopts to keep up an income as well ^^. Posted 9 years agoSo some good news! I was able to make up the cost of the electric bill and the gas bill as well as a little extra to cover some groceries! Less stress about if we would be able to pay bills on time, NOW I just need to cover renters insurance ($18.75) Internet ($70) and the phone bill ($95). Anything extra from there goes to gas in the trucks and groceries!
So far I've made up the cost of some other minor things, I'd like to cover the small stuff first since the little things can add up quick. Once I've reached the goal of $185 I'll be using anything after that to cover next month bills and gas ^^. At the moment I'll be starting from 0/$185, since the last of what is in my paypal is going to cover gas for next week for me.

The story:
Our rent payment bounced back, so now we have to pay 1,358 due to late fees being added. Not only that but we are already behind paying the electric, $146 and the gas bill, $43.
My mate also has a truck payment on the 15th of $422.80. The rent payment alone would make our account negative by about - $300.
Im trying to make funds as fast as possible to cover at least the gas bill, electric bill, and to cover gas for both of our trucks. Im a full time student (i do 15 credit hours) so im nut even sure if a seasonal job would take me. Im doing 5 slots for traditional and 5 slots for digital flat color commissions as well! I am open for hip up Inktober style badges! The background can be colored in marker, however I will be putting way more detail into my linework to stay true to the Inktober theme!

I will also be resetting my goal as it is the end of the month ^^ I did not quite meet my goal last month, but I was also clearing out lots of older commissions.

Posted 9 years agoSo at the moment we are a little short on some bills (primarly the electric and renters insurance) and need help paying them! I also need to buy new headlights as my spouses died out and is using the highbeam bulbs for headlights.
