And the process is gonna take a little while, so there will definitely be no updates on this side of things on the internet. If you'd like to know how I'm doing, of course I've provided my TUMBLR but I also has a TWITTER now so y'all can recieve tidbits of news from me there when I get around to it.
Other than that, not much else to report. So long until I get settled elsewhere.

New Year Upon Us
General | Posted 12 years agoWith the gift giving month nearly over, I hope everyone's had Happy Holidays. Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or whatever else you have on your plate this end of the year, I sincerely hope we can all look forward to 2014. For me, the season of giving is all year, Christmas is a time to spend with my family and rest rather than jump on presents under the tree. As I've tried to extend the same invitation to all of you for the latter half of this year to give to charity, donate to causes, or show those people in your life that you care for them, I hope this doesn't die with the turning of the calender. We can make the world a better place by giving and sharing kindness, so stick with me for another year as I try ever to produce works for you my fans. :)
So again, Happy Holidays to you and yours, and have a Happy New Year :D

General | Posted 12 years agoHowdy again folks. With Thanksgiving here in the states nearly over, I'm thankful to everyone who's been here with me over the years, family, friends, fans, and would love to continue improving and providing you all with works to come in the future.
I am most thankful to those who lended a helping hand during the Extralife week early November, it is a great cause to help so many kids work through their ailments with the fascination of video game entertainment, truly proof that most of us gamers today are not the evil beings the media makes us out to be for a scant few.
Now I ask for your help again in aiding someone through their troubled times. Okami over on DeviantArt has found themselves in a predicament. If you are thankful for every day you live and breathe with friends and family, then perhaps you can share your good fortune with someone else in need.

General | Posted 12 years agoWell ghouls and drools, I managed to stay up through the 25-hour stream for charity, helping my friends at Otterly Gaming to raise money for Extra Life and the Childrens Miracle Network of Hospitals. Together the group raised $575 to help their local hospitals, but Extralife as a foundation worked up just close to $3.5 million! Wow! But hey, just because the annual ExtraLife event is over doesn't mean we need to stop! Keep donating if you can, cause its super awesome to make sure our next generation of gamers carry on the spirit of compassion and sharing. Sure we had a number of examples that there may be some truly evil individuals in the world (the site was proposedly DDoS attacked 4 times over the course of the 25 hours), but we stayed strong and kept playing, donating as much as we could to prove that its a worthy cause.

My birthday is coming up this month on the 30th, this coming Wednesday, day before Halloween. While I hope I won't still be working on this last picture, I do still hope I'm streaming for that day... why? BECAUSE I WANNA PLAY SOME MOVIES! So join me late that night on ARLY'S LIVESTREAM for some personal picks in the spooky holiday movie madness! Hope to see you there!

So as much as I appreciate gifts from my fans, the most cherished gift to me is helping others. Long week
General | Posted 12 years agoWell after leaving town for a week on emergency business. I'm finally back... and feeling awful.. But worry not for me, I'm happy to be back home and hope I can get to finishing up stuff before the big birthday.
In other news, I've been updating the Fanart Journal quite a bit, including the newest piece by
DaydreamKinamoto, so check it out in the profile bar near the top of my user page or you can click right here... though it would be useful if you get used to checking the user page :P
in pokemon related news, I'm working my way up the fairy-gym, sitting on the fairy toilet

General | Posted 13 years agoAgain, thank you all for the milestone. It feels awesome to think I've generated an audience so great, who cares about uniqueIDs or whatever. I'm numbered!
Unfortunately my plans to start commissions this week will be slightly postponed because somehow it slipped my mind that my mother was going into the hospital for surgery this weekend, so I'm not going to be able to concentrate on it between my visits up there and taking care of the house. But she should be home early next week, and I'm ever more longing to reach that goal!
I'll post the commission prices later to give everyone a good preview for what to expect, but actual commission placements will have to be later. I'll also have to spend some time collecting the fanart and gifts I know exist and make a journal seperately for them to link to through my profile... speaking of which....
I updated my profile if no one has noticed yet. Should be more helpful in explaining a few things, and especially makes bringing up Arly's reference a bit less like looking for the needle in the haystack. lol

Here in the States its a tense time with the foil of politics growing that much darker, but in that one moment when almost all the world sees that clock hit midnight, we can sigh in relief to see another year go by and fill themselves with hopes for the future. I hope you've all had your merry celebrations and continue to enjoy the rest of the week, because I know I plan on starting some real planning soon...
My resolution for this year is to really get started on COMMISSIONS... in fact, I'm hoping to start THIS WEEK. I'm not reserving slots right now, so don't start commenting that you'd like something right now. Trust me, I have a guide ready and will have plenty of rules to go with it. So just pray for me that I can get this done, settled, and start paying my own bills.
Also... that 25k is coming up fast, isn't it? Lol, don't rush it, trust me... anyone who's been paying attention to my livestream is aware that I've got something in the works, just need a bit more time.

I hope everyone is enjoying themselves this time of the season and I want to remind all my viewers and fans that no matter how poor this time of the year is to you, never let it get you down. A new year is on the rise and more opprotunities await and new people to meet. How Many Times Have I Said I'm Tired
General | Posted 13 years agoTitle of the journal... well now I can say I'm really. Went to the gym yesturday and I could barely push 100 lbs in 1 set, let alone the 2 sets i usually do. Mom being in a collar means it is now illegal for her to drive and it limits on what she can do around the house, so I'm almost constantly doing all the running around. I think the number of doctor appointments the other day on top of a drastic incident covered in my stream with little to no sleep is what killed it though. Even with as much sleep as I had before the gym, I just couldn't find the rest of the energy I keep in my reserves.
In other news, so far we're just getting light rain, but as Hurricane Isaac moves further into my state, I'll assume it'll eventually get harder before the storm just altogether dies out. So I probably won't be streaming for awhile, much less working on anything in photoshop alone, for the fact I could lose power at any moment over the next day or two. In the meantime I'll probably just attend Hito's stream when I can and bash him a little before I get banned by twitch.tv again. :P

Tora-Shiromaru (love the icon btw) following the workout piece and just like I told him, they're glorious, have a look ;P

Striving Against Tiredness
General | Posted 13 years agoGot home yesturday from the hospital with mom. Nothing life-threatening mind you, it was a scheduled surgery for spinal stenosis. I'd go into details, but I know I myself feel kind of uncomfortable thinking about it.... but either case, I'm now dutifully taking care of mom as she recovers. So my tiredness might be even more maximized than recently.

Trying my best
General | Posted 13 years agoAfter getting some kinks worked out of my forced-upon setup and I'm feeling less sick and more just adequately tired, I'm hoping I'll finally be able to work. First some warm up pictures and then I'll finalize something I'll post up here soon.
As far as streaming goes, I'll not be able to do such with games anymore, least until I get my desktop up and running again, so for now it'll just be art streaming, which I have been getting fairly used to doing. I'll try to work on procaster and eventually get my livestream back up, but for now I'm using join.me which unfortunately uses a randomly generated URL so it's pointless to post anything here.
As a side note, Karaken commissioned a nice little piece that I would like to share. Whether explicitly made for my enjoyment or not ;P I do appreciate the thought, so check it out if you like Arly getting filled up: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8302531/

General | Posted 13 years agoIndeed, currently typing this out on my phone while I watch my MacBook slowly installing windows7 for bootcamp because yesturday, just to piss on the last of my weekend, my computer unofficially died... I say unofficially because the only thing we (friends and I) think it could be is two blown capacitors on the motherboard. Whether this turns into a simple fix or replacing the whole system will be determined by whether this makes me fatally ill as the stress of just finding a feasible problem has had me laying in bed all night with a migraine... I'm hoping it's a simple fix and I don't need to replace that much before the week is over but at least it shouldn't be anything too expensive or nothing that's lost me all that much. I'll try if I can to still get commissions started before the end of the month and attempt to use the laptop for doing all of the work instead of partial like I originally intended it for, but work is work, just many of the services I was considering providing will be planned as unavailable until I'm sure what I'm dealing with...
Shape Up or Stream Out
General | Posted 13 years agoBeen distracted by alot of things in the recent time since Christmas. Got a new car, got a PS3, been playing games with people... and most recently, visiting the gym.
Technically a medical fitness center on the campus of one of the local hospitals, so most are there under doctors concerns and usually run the age range of mid-30s to late 70s, though there have been a few obviously recent veterans attending for rehab purposes. Its a nice, open place where at least I'm sure I won't run into the over-confident muscly jock type and can work out in relative peace. My reasons for going are a combination of my mother and her friend wishing to attend the yoga classes there and the fact I know I could stand to lose some of my gut, though I suppose mine pales in comparison to those expectant mothers attending as well. Though lets hope an incident like "Never Going Near That Aisle Again" doesn't happen too soon, though from the looks of my weight readings, I'm gaining weight... I'm sure Xadera would tell you thats all the fat escaping to my chest, but I'm pretty sure the working out just makes me hungrier. I've also been talking about it with Stelard and Tora, which inspired this little picture, which is awesome and I love and you should check it out:

General | Posted 14 years agoWell I've been sighing all day trying to come up with something for my annual christmas theme picture... and I've got nothing... I've tried drawing anything for the past couple of days, but tonight it comes to a head that everything I start I can't bring myself to finish and just wind up erasing it... So instead of leaving y'all with a half-baked last minute picture, I've decided instead to give everyone a group of pictures I was going to keep to myself and the second part of Arly's erotic story arc... So I hope you enjoy and... hopefully I'll come up with something after I get back from my trip.
Oh, have I mentioned I got a laptop yet? Yea, thats probably important...
I got an early Christmas which tied more into my birthday awhile back... I got a Macbook Pro (17") and new tablet (upgrading from the Bamboo to an Intuos4)... sadly have not gotten my new Adobe software yet to install on the mac, but as those who use the wacom products know, it comes with a version of Adobe Photoshop Elements, so it'll last me while I'm away. I've had a good deal of work for the past few weeks and some troubled times that slowed me down quite a bit, but now I'm able and ready anytime, anywhere.
