I've had to go into my overdraft because I've had to spend a lot this term on things like a replacement Graphics Tablet, Vet Fees when my rabbit got injured, University Trip Deposit and Christmas Presents, etc! SO - I've knocked my prices down a whole 50% in hopes of getting some commissions to get back in the positives as soon as possible!! Really appreciate any help, thanks so much guys!! <3

So my tablet is KIND OF WORKING, but I don't think it's gonna last long tbh, I need a new one asap....

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

So, just as I was about to get into drawing again, my tablet decided it no longer wanted to work. Yay. The pressure on it has completely gone, I can't click anything without having to click about 5 times, and even then it doesn't always respond. When it does respond, it's not recognising pen pressure at all either. I've changed all of the pen settings in the control panel, reset to defaults, changed sensitiivity, reinstalled twice, restarted laptop, restarted and reinstalled drawing programs and updated drivers and nothing. Also tried it with 3 different wires... It's gone :c Tbf it's been getting gradually worse for about 6 months...

Also, I'm absolutely broke at the moment to be honest. I've had to spend a lot lately on things like a new bed, prescription glasses, etc... and I haven't had much work this summer either so I've been kind of living off my savings! I won't be able to buy a new one until my student loan goes in at the end of the month/start of October! My friend is going to lend me his when I move back to Swansea for uni, but that's not until the 12th so!

I'm honestly gutted, but Barnaby Jr has had his fair share of usage over the years, it's finally time to retire the old guy! RIP! </3

So yeah, obviously I'm not going to be uploading a lot in the next few weeks, again, sorry! I'll try get some traditional stuff done but who knows! ^^''

After what seems like an ETERNITY, I'm finally back ahaa! Internet, we are joyfully reunited! <3

Hey everyone! So, for the most of 2017 so far, I've had no motivation, been on a real downer about my art, etc etc I've just hated everything I did, felt I wasn't improving at all, etc, we've all been there! I've been sulking basically.

Anyway, so, I was reminded of something today. Last Summer, I was doing henna in the fair of a tiny little village, everyone knew eachother, and the community was just beautiful. Anyway, some little kids came up to me, they were around 9, 10, 11? and said they loved drawing and anime, told me their art struggles, and we drew and talked and laughed together, even gave eachother advice! This one little boy, Kane said he really loved my art. I drew a quick picture in his sketch book for him told him never to give up, and he was ecstatic. In return, he drew a picture in my sketchbook for me too! I was also very happy by this!!

ANYWAY. Fast forward to now, his mum randomly pops up on Facebook and posts his pictures. She's friends with my mum so I saw them. I'd forgotten about them completely to be honest. I commented on them saying how much he'd improved, he really had!! She told me how happy he was to hear me say that, and that he kept that sketch I did for him all this time, and that it really inspired him to carry on doing art.

My heart just lifted right there on the spot, I was so happy that I'd made such a difference. I remembered why I'm doing art. I WANT to make a difference to little kids like that. I think, in the midst of everything, I forgot that art was supposed to be fun. It's not about being the best, being better than others, being better than yourself even. It's fun. It's supposed to make you feel GOOD about yourself, not BAD. You're supposed to just draw whatever you want, and enjoy it. I think, especially with being in uni doing art with some INCREDIBLE artists, I started to lose hope a little, but this one little boy really made me see straight. He's just doing it for fun, and in this short time he's improved so much.

I mean, if I can't motivate myself, how can I motivate others? I can't let this kid down after this now can I? It's okay to have bad days, but don't lose sight of what's important. Love and Fun.

PS. I dug the sketchbook out and found the picture he drew for me. It's not stuck on my wall of art/motivation above my desk, so I can look at it and remind myself about this whenever I'm feeling down.

Hi everyone! I'll be doing the 'DeChox' again this March, where I go a whole month without Chocolate to raise money for the British Heart Foundation! Anyone who knows me, knows I love Chocolate and that it's a challenge for me, especially as my birthday is in March!! I did this last year and I really want to do it again, I'd like to raise even more this year!

I've had heart problems in the past, as have members of my family. The British Heart Foundation helps to fight against heart disease, and heart related illnesses - It really is a great cause, so would really appreciate some donations if possible at all please?

And so! For a while, I'm opening Commissions where ALL of the proceeds go to Charity!

Okay guys, I found this AMAZING app called 'Vent' It's for Android and IPhone (Not sure about others sorry, it probably is available)
It's basically an app, kind of a social media I guess, where you just post statuses ranting or venting away to your hearts content. Everyone on there is doing the same. The amount of support I've receieved from other users already is astonishing! It's also nice to have a completely non judgemental, no biased place to just vent my worries away and get all of that anger and stress, etc out onto 'paper'. And to know I'm not the only one feeling like I do.
It's incredible, please try it if you need something like this in your life. It's an amazing fall back when I'm feeling crappy <3

I'm going to London tomorrow to see one of my all time favourite Country singers and I am so damn excited it's not even funny. He's a Country legend literally (At the amazing age of 78)!!

I booked it all the way back in April/May as a gift to myself to make myself feel better after breaking up with my ex ahaa~!

I'm right at the very very very very back but I don't even care! I'm still gonna be there listening to him sing and the atmosphere will be amazing <3

So anyway! I won't be really active this weekend as I'm staying the night and don't get back until Sunday night :)
