Posted 4 years agoHello, I've decided to close the orders for the Full Art Pack via PayPal and open it via PayHip once the preorder time expires. Also the pack will be available on my Patreon too.
This is probably the last time that I make a complete pack, so if I do a 2021 pack after end of the year I will put it in the Pack #1 Tier (USD 12) for Patreon only.
I want to thank you so much for support my art, you have been very kind to be interested in what I do even in this difficult times and that gives me encouragement to continue improving and working on my personal drawings. ^-^

I'm creating this journal to keep informed of the status of my 2019 works. Lately I have had many complications and all that caused me to delay a lot in my work and generated some stress, so I'm trying to organize everything I have pending to relieve the stress a bit.

Posted 6 years agoHi all. The truth is that I don't know how to start this topic, since it is something that I'm embarrassed to mention.
Recently I realized that for most of the $1 pledges the taxes take almost half of them, and I can not help but feel somewhat frustrated, since I had decided to move the sketches and WIPs reward of the $5 tier to $1 without knowing this issue, waiting for more people to support me and it was also designed so that people can have more content at an economic price, but I have discovered that I lose more than 40% only in taxes, and I don't know if I can continue in the future if I do not make some changes.
Therefore I thought for the future to change the minimum pledge of $1 to $2, and in that case the taxes would not be so big in comparison, and will remain economical for those who want to see WIPs, sketches and exclusive drawings.
I hope it does not sound bad for you, because my idea is not to pretend this to looks like a business, since I love to draw and that is what matters most to me, but for a long time I am living with the right amount of money for daily expenses and without tell you that I do not have a car, nor a TV nor my own home, so I really have to worry about Patreon's income and take commissions from time to time.
Please, tell me if this seems right and give me your opinion or tell me what you think that I can do to improve this and at the same time your interests.

Posted 7 years agoHello, I only do this journal to thank those who have bought my packs and those who want to do it in this remaining time.
You know, it's been a little over a year since I moved and I'm living alone. This is very complicated but seeing that there is interest in my art helps me to keep trying to make it my job and my life. Until now I have not been able to afford myself any luxury or anything, but at least I am learning to live by myself by doing what I like. :)
In the future I will try to make more interesting art packs, and of course keep posting my art for free, but as you all know we need some income to live. So thank you very much again to all of you, buyers of my packs, commissioners and Patrons, all my art is and will be thanks to you. ^-^

Important: A clarification for sharks who want to participate but believe that their character does not adapt, keep in mind that the shark in the sketch is a standard one, so I can adapt the head, hands and tail if they are different as long as they are features of some species of sharks.

Posted 8 years agoHi, I'm finally living in my place. It feels lonely after living my whole life with my family, but it is something that I must accept for my sake. I apologize to those who have been waiting for new drawings by me or to those who donated for the comic, and especially I apologize to my Patreons, who have supported me for long time.
At this moment I am finishing the last page of the comic, so I can send the pack of all the pages in their respective resolutions to those who have donated and I'll upload it on Patreon too. And when I've finished the page I will surely announce it to accept commissions. Probably in the middle of the commissions I will try to make more chapters for the comic, but for now I need an income to make up all the expenses I have made in the department, and to maintain the rent.

About my absence and charging this month to my patrons...
Posted 8 years agoHello, some people know that I had problems in my home and I had to find an apartment to rent. Well, the first place I found I spent several days making arrangements to rent it but the owner changed her mind at the last moment, so I had to find another place and start the arrangements from the beginning. The good side is that I have found another better apartment and I already have the keys. ^-^
For people who were donating in Patreon, they will not be charged this month. I apologize for not explaining my situation a lot, is that I was somewhat down and I do not like to talk so much about my problems, sometimes it can be very annoying for the followers. I will only ask you to have some patience, I am sure that living alone and with the support of my friend Anhes I'll be able to dedicate myself to the drawing with more enthusiasm, and I'll even try to take commissions more often, since I will have to pay the rent, of course. :P
Thank you all for your support until now, and I hope to keep making this more and more often, like a job, but keeping the enthusiasm like a hobby. ^-^
PS: Sorry for my bad English, is that it costs me a little to write in English so I use a translator.

I made some changes to my Patreon page. I have added two new pledges, in which I will send to my supporters, at the beginning of the month, an organized folder with the drawings of 2 Megapixels or higher and the .psd source files with all the layers of each work.
Also I've updated my goals, where if I reach the first one I'll make a monthly gift art to one of my supporters.
