It seems like doing a raffle is a good idea so I guess Ill get on it right now because its going to be a longer one. Heres whats up.

So my computer's wifi is being annoying. Dell won't get it through their thick skull that it's a hardware malfunction and I need to wait til tomorrow for them to continue "diagnosing" the problem. Atm, I'm fortunate enough to be using ethernet connected to a friend's router. I'll try and get responses to the 41 comments, 14 faves, and 2 watches asap... sorry my computer has been a bitch for the past month.

At the moment, I've only been using the default brushes in photoshop for my art. However, I really can't add much in terms of texture to my art.

I think that's the next step in enhancing my work. I remember a few I used to have (gotta find em again). But does anyone have any recommendations? or know someone that might have a few good suggestions on where to find more good textured brushes?

So I did a diagnoses and it turns out my hard drive might fail at any time. Dell will be replacing it; however, I need to transfer all my files off the current HD asap.

Oh and a funny story:
I let the dell help guy take control of my computer because he was testing an issue with my hdmi port and the audio coming from it. He had me hook up my computer to the tv in the living room (it was the closest hdmi cord hooked up to something). So he was reinstalling the audio drivers and opened a link to the download. Of course, chrome loads by default... unfortunately, it loaded in a window full of yiff D:. And this was on the big screen in my living room with my brother right behind me o_o... luckily, I have slow internet and none of it loaded... but then he started closing it all (bitter-sweet thing). I quickly took control of the computer again and then closed chrome completely....

I avoided a near disaster o_o

Well at the moment my computer is on the fritz... I'm having the most bizarre bug. The backlight basically is switching on and off randomly; I can't tell if it's a software issue or a hardware issue. The control panel for adjusting brightness in windows doesn't do anything when it the backlight dims. I need to call Dell and get them to fix some other things on it, but if I'm incommunicado for a day or two at least you guys know why. Meh... computers are starting to piss me off <.<....

So, I think one of my objectives for this year will be to save up for the Microsoft Surface w/ Windows 8 Pro.

My laptop is great and still supports modern games really well so I'm not concerned about replacing it. So I think I wanna invest in something more portable than my 17" monster of a laptop. There isn't a lot out about what is definitely going to be in Surface Pro, and opinions seem to be very mixed (but mostly positive) about the Surface w/ Windows RT.

I'm seriously considering investing in the 128gb version which runs $1000+ (usd) and the keyboard cover costs $120 to $130 more. So this would be a HUGE investment for a tablet. I've been asking a lot of people for opinions (other than comparing it to the Ipad which I know I don't want), but I haven't met anyone personally that has used the surface enough.

I know the Windows 8 Pro version isn't due to release yet, so if anyone has some good opinions about the Windows RT version, I'd like to hear it :3

So, what must you do to enroll in this fabulous occasion? Well, first, you need to read the rules. You need to understand I'll pic the poses/theme and I'll pick the outfits; don't suggest anything or you risk not being able to participate in this raffle. (Also, I will require SFW refs.) Now, there will be no complaining, and I should have this done by Valentines, but regardless of when it's completed, if you complain, or ask for revisions, or whatever, I will drop you like a hot rock. For your entry to be valid, you must state (G only), “Your hot, fresh pizza makes me wanna ______ with your (insert favorite topping).”You do not have to post a journal; but if you do, you get an extra number. However, if you do post one, it must be posted the same day as your comment on the journal. Again, I will not tolerate complaining. Lastly, you will be required to be watching me to claim your prize, and you will need to watch out for the winning journal post. I will be checking.
