Who wants to hang out or do some shit. I'm kinda bored, have a pretty decent month where I don't have to worry too much about school, and have off of work on Thursdays and Sundays. Also has anyone found out a good meet spot? Haven't been thinking about it too much myself, but I totally need to. Also would like to get in touch with some local artists and the sort, maybe try to do some kind of trade and what not, wanna get rid of my fear of drawing shit in front of people, since I'm getting jealous of the whole art jam things at conventions and whatnot. Ive had this account for a while now but I never really used it. The layout looks great though. I never really given it much of a chance, but they have something that Ive been wanting from THIS site for a long time. BLACKLISTING, It's already making things so much more enjoyable browse wise.

Also due to a lack of inspiration and lots of videogames, Ive been kind of dead lately, and for that I apologize. I think I'm starting to actually want to get some drawings finished now though, I have lots of sketches I'd make every once in a while. So I might do something with them finally.

I dunno if I'm just looking over something or not. I do know that there is a way to turn on the mature filter, but what I want to know is, is there a browse filter that removes everything bordered red/blue when browsing?
I'm tired of seeing pictures happy fursuiters with kids and having that image surrounded by pictures of dicks. If this is not actually a feature, I'm somewhat surprised but not really. Where do I go to at least try to get someone like neer to add this? I don't want to have to pick between allowing mature work and having to see all of that shit on when browsing or just removing mature work completely.
Yes I know browsing is horrible, but It's entertaining sometimes, and sometimes I want to find artists who don't normally get a lot of attention but deserve it.

Got some news from my old boss about having me work on the weekends while I'm doing classes. One thing that annoys me about a good amount of the community is, the furries that make animal noises. My question is why exactly are people doing this? Honestly sounds like the stupidest way to represent the "species" that your fursona is.

Being that furries are anthropomorphic animals, that means they have the intelligence equivalent to that of a human, Which means they wouldn't be making animals sounds. They'd be talking in a human language.
It makes me assume that your fursona is kind of mentally challenged if it barks and acts too much like a dog or what ever species it half is.

This is atleast my way of interpreting such, the idea that bothers me the most is making this the default of how furries should act

Now I know the whole furry pride thing is incredibly stupid as it is but.. "You cant talk, only bark, yip, tweet, ect." Just made the whole thing 3X more humiliating. This day might need to be renamed "the mentally challenged furries awareness day" because making animal sounds has nothing to do with being a furry what so ever.

For the furry pride thing "or any ____ pride", you guys need to stop :c. It's embarrassing and is only encouraging yourselves to be excluded and considered "different" than everyone else. The only kind of pride that should exist is being proud of yourself in a personal level rather than what you like and what you do. If you want to look like someone with actual pride, instead of putting "FURRY PRIDE" all over your stupid youtube page, put something like "I don't give a fuck about what you think of me" because it works so much better.

Lastly, the furry community is a fandom of sorts. There isn't any reason to treat it like a separate race or orientation.

the fan art is atrocious and is easier to draw than sonic the hedgehog characters.

I hate to do this but, Ive been having to unwatch good artists because all they seem to draw now is MLP fan art.
Plus I'm really starting to favor DA right now, and I fucking hate DA, but I see less of it there.

REQUESTS UPDATE: I know it's been almost a month now since Ive started them, just been getting sidetracked etc.
I am still working on the requests but I don't know about the cartoon requests. I didn't like my whole idea with that one, everything I seemed to make was too unfitting for the style that I was going for.
