I honestly cannot remember if I ever made a journal about the last one I worked on?? lol. Anyways!

The first book I worked on did pretty well on KS so we're doing another book! The Black Market Guide to Immortality

Copies are still available of the previous one I worked on, Undying Corruption . UC is an adventure book where as Black Market Guide is just a source book for DnD5e and PF2e. UC is also centered more on Korea.

I mostly just do book layout and graphic design on the project. But there are a couple art pieces by me in the UC books and there will be a couple drawn by me in BMG. :)

I've been way more active on bsky over Twitter for over a year. It's nice being on a less aggressive social media site.

Ok so I am actually surprisingly mostly set to go to FWA next year. I had a ton of fun going this year. I'm actually staying near the con next year so that'll be cool. The one with full ass out isn't mature content apparently?? odd rules with wacky loopholes. As a NB person I don't think the nipple rule is doing what they think it does. lmfao.

I have been meaning to open commissions all year but my mental health has generally been bad. I'm still finishing some commissions from last summer. I think I would have managed better if I didn't have two friends that passed away in the same month last summer. June/July 2020 was ROUGH. I did not find out about one of the deaths until April this year on her birthday so I kinda spiraled down again. I did most of my 2nd degree online due to the pandemic so burnout has been hitting hard as everything just blurred together.

I'm vaccinated and stuff now so I've been doing stuff like going out to get ice cream so I am feeling better slowly. I might be introverted but even I get sick of being at home on a computer ALL DAY. I'm also working on a fun DnD project led by some very neat Korean creators so I'll post more about that later. I'm just doing book layout and back-up art as I am not Korean. lol.

I am still using the same twitter account but I changed the handle recently out of slight paranoia over a toxic parent stalking me on the internet. Frankly I am sick of it. I've been stuck in the house with her for nearly 4 months and she really is just something else.

On the flip side of that though, I did change it for a good reason too. I've been quietly identifying as non-binary among some close friends since idk like February?? I incorporated the new name I chose into my handle so it ain't all bad.

I was kinda chill about taking commissions last year but I do not want to take them this year even if I do need the money. I am in an uncomfortable living situation that makes it hard to work on commissions. I am also in school which makes it hard for me to find spare time to work. I'll see how this semester looks as I have 5 hrs between classes 2 days a week so I may stay on campus and work on stuff. I can't really do much about my living situation except work through this degree as fast as possible so I can find a job that pays a wage to get me outta here. I am being emotionally abused by a parent and it sucks a whole lot. It's bad enough that I would break off the relationship for good at this point.

I've decided to close commissions for the rest of the year after I fill april slots. I may open them again at some point but I think I need to take some time off to work on my own stuff.

I absolutely love doing commissions. I just feel a burn out coming on and I would rather avoid it.

I was going to start on the last couple commissions I need to finish for the year this past weekend but my mom fell and broke her leg while walking my dog on Saturday. I spent all night in the ER with her. She needs surgery but it’s a holiday so she’s not gonna get in until after Wednesday. The break is uh kind of nuts tbh.

She has broken this leg before (20 years ago??) so she’s got the zoomies on her crutches but I still have to do a lot of stuff for her. I haven’t touched my computer since last Friday.
